think he fits this offense to a tee  He can line up wide, can score from anywhere on the field.  He's the replacement for the fa back from Washington we didnt get.  Averaged over 10 yds per catch as a rb  You can roll out a 4 wr set on 3rd down and motion him back into the backfield or have him terrorize slower lbs and safeties

What this boils down to is we finally got a homerun hitter at RB. That 4.4 speed shows up in pads, not just in shorts. He also is a heck of a receiver out of the backfield. He will contribute this year.

When those angry winds come blasting off of Lake Erie in October and later, it is important to have an effective running game to get first downs and wear down the clock.

 

A balanced offense makes Allen more dangerous and may allow Allen to have a healthier and longer career.

 

 Now draft a snowplow or two for the offensive line.
