But it's still the astroturf stuff, isn't it?  The entire "floor" of the stadium is covered in it.

Seems like you would damage it, even if players aren't playing on it.

And then how do they get heavy snowfall off the field where they DO play?

It's an interesting problem I think.  Maybe that fake grass is tougher than I think!

For reference, when the 90's Bills would go to play the Superbowl, the players drove on the field, and parked their cars right on the field. So it does withstand a lot. I can only imagine improvements in durability since the 90's.

So... Then, the push it all the way down... Let it cascade over edge of upper deck into lower bowl?  I wonder if the crank the heaters in the clubs to help it or would that just make things worse, freezing and melted water.   I've would suck on the steps!

My time there was pre club heaters. There really isn't any other option than to push it from upper to lower.

"Push it from upper to lower" could be a song title used in a porno. I may retire from this idea.

There are places all over Atlanta and most major cities where day laborers gather to find whatever work they can get. I would think there would be a way to find those people and let them get their shovel on.

Day laborers aren't really a thing up in Buffalo. Like you won't see 20 guys standing around for day work at Home Depot here. But those who want to make a quick buck and get food will show up.

Serious question.  Where do you put the snow?   Seems like you would just toss it where the next guy is shelving.   Or is just the field that gets shoveled?

They put a chute in the ailes that empties into the exit. A bobcat clears the exit. Shovelers go through the rows, scoop and walk it to the chute. Slow work.

That's how they do the upper deck. Lower bowl they run the chutes to the field.

Do they take out taxes? Or give you the forms so you can report it as income?

It was cash money in '94.

College kids and beer money was my first thought, to be honest.

Maybe at the entrance gates just hand out little beach shovels to each attendee to clear out their own area on Sunday afternoon. Also, a little plastic beach pail.  Attendees can put the snow in the pail, put full beer can in the snow that’s packed in the pail. Voila! Cleared out seating, Cold beer, melting snow, collectible souvenirs!

Don't forget plastic umbrellas to protect against the weather proving a dome is not needed.

Good luck. They can’t get enough workers to keep Tim Hortons or mighty taco open regular hours. Can’t see many people being willing to shovel for that rate.

Idk, keep it under 600$ and you can't be given a 1099, so therefore it doesn't mess up any benefits you may or may not receive. Straight cash home.

Not a dig on anyone btw, just the way it is these days.

No one bite! Let’s get organized: we’ll hold out for $20 an hour, lunch and dinner provided, and two luxury suite tickets to the home play-off game next week. Unite! Who’s in?

Aren’t tickets going for 8$ for this game ?!  I agree , hold out for a suite , with buffet and catering !  Man , shoveling snow was one reason I left Ohio after growing up there !  Miserable, heart attack inducing labor paying 15$ an hour while teachers are refusing live teaching because “ the ventilation is not adequate”!  Get some of them out there ( not a teacher hater , my sister is one and my family has sponsored a yearly scholarship for kids in my hometown going into either teaching or medicine) to “ experience great ventilation “ , and let’s see how quickly they appreciate their poorly ventilated , indoor jobs!  Lol ! (  Sometimes people need perspective !)

Man, in all sincerity that is tough work, and in a billion $ industry , it’ should be a little embarrassing to offer minimum wage for any NFL. associated work.   Hey, give everybody leaf or snow blowers for fun to use and every one who helps deserves free game tickets.  Let some people ( kids, college kids etc) who normally can’t afford NFL tickets see a live game !  Come on NFL, do the right thing ; if you need community support why not show the community love in return ?!  Pay the people!  Lol!  That stadium pic looks beautiful !   I miss that pristine snow look, just hated driving , working in it!
