After Saban/Alabama beat the living crap out him his wife (a nurse) said that he was lying on the floor and looked as if he was trying to cry.

He is one strange duck.

There was a time when people thought he was a better and younger HC than Saban.

I'm sure it pains him to know that he's not even considered in his class anymore.

Agree. His ownership of Fulham has been a bit schizophrenic too. I think he is a clown.

I don't he will go back. It isn't that he won't get offers. I just think he will not want to go back with his tail between his legs walking into a room as a failure from the pros. Would be too hard for his ego.

That walk of shame has happened to several college coaches that failed in the pros.  What else can he do?

Only coaches that I can think of who did well in the pros and college are Carroll and Harbaugh.

Even Caroll failed in hus first pro he job.

I think he will retire to the TV studio.

Don't think so, as this is not just another coach getting fired.

It's uglier than that, and sponsors aren't going to want to be associated with this guy.

He's got plenty of money; he doesn't need to do anything.

He can write another book.

Highly unlikely the team will prevail…this seems like a move designed to give them some leverage to negotiate a lower buyout.

Seeing as how the Commissioner decides, and Meyer was caught doing several unethical things, including allegedly assaulting an employee, I bet you're wrong.

Without seeing his employment K, it's pretty worthless arguing one way or the other.

I'm just glad they are taking this path, more or less to screw the guy over.

He seems like the kind of guy who has gone through life accruing bad karma.
