Mikie2times
9 runs by running backs. Inexcusable, we already saw earlier this year what the team looks like when they abandon the run. The pass blocking just can't hold up and if you have enough pressure and enough reps eventually bad Josh will appear.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Think the bigger issue is the line play. You still need a good line to run too. Not sure if Brown being out is hurting them so much up front and Mongo was playing well for awhile. Last week he struggled too Doubt trading for an O lineman at the deadline would have helped much as the likelihood of getting a starter isn't that good. Could have added depth, but that's not really their issue.

LOL Someone pointed out if you take away two 10+ yard runs by Singletary, and he's pretty much done nothing.

streetkings01
Let the WGR morning crew try to spin this into the running game isn’t needed in today’s NFL. We desperately needed a running game today.

Dr.Sack
At this point 74 year old 0J Simpson & 55 year old Thurman Thomas could produce the results we get from our RBs.
Nuncha
Singletary is NOT a starting running back in this league, that along with a poor O-line means run game is going to suck.

When we run we don’t go anywhere and it wastes a down. But when we abandon the run we are allowing the other team to pass rush only. For us it’s a pick out poison. bottom line, singletary and moss are 3rd string caliber RBs in this league. They don’t have good vision and neither of them are good in any particular area. We MUST draft a RB next year.

Josh didn't get to develop 2 years after college in the USFL and have the Bills bottom out in 1985 and get another HOF in Bruce Smith. Toss in the offense turned it around when we got Thurman. Your position is indefensible. Im going to rip a bonger now, no hard feelings. But the fact remains, if you have a stud back there - they're still going to respect the guy. Even with bad run blocking, as one dimensional as we are, there should still be plays to be made with teams keying in on our passing game. And there aren't. Ever. You can put the focus on the O-Line. But no one is scared of Devin Singletary or Zack Moss and it shows.

Xwnyer
the Line stinks but the play calling is putrid. Let Daboll go he has no clue. where are the jet sweeps, the screens are terrible, everyone knows blitz and force Josh since so many rouyt=tes are long developing. Josh is not seeing open receivers
Eastport bills
Been pounding the table about having no running game. The short passing game will be defensed by NE and Indy. With this O-line Josh has no time to throw it downfield and because their getting pressure with the front four there's 7 defenders on 4 receivers.
