Greg Rousseau/AJ Epenesa are going to be elite DEs. What a steal!

Groot is already showing he can play at an elite level, through only 2 games, you can just watch him causing consistent chaos in the backfield. Can't believe 29 teams passed on him.

He's on pace to be a DROY candidate! Just unbelievable play by the rookie,  he looks like a man amongst boys! Incredible

AJ just has a swagger and look that he didn't have last year. He also looks like he'll be an elite DE.

Both are super quick off the ball and are the missing pieces to us getting to the next level .

Add in Hughes, Addison and that's an elite rotation.

Hopefully Efe can heal up and Boogie can come on later in the year.

Through 2 weeks we look like one of , if not the best defense in the game and our DL is a huge reason,  specifically AJ and Groot! Phenomenal front office, taking a chance on a guy who sat out all of 2020 was genius.

These scouts are amazing.

Now we know why we let go of Daryl Johnson.. LETS GOOO BUFFFFFALLLLLOOO

I thought Aj was the best player on the field today.  0 tackles. 0 sacks.  0 problem.  I decided that I’ll be getting a red Epenesa jersey this year. He’s looks to be our best pass rusher.  Sorry Jerry.

Rousseau was certainly impressive. Almost had 3 sacks.  Looks like a future pro bowler.  Versatile and more athletic than I thought he’d be.

that said……the Dolphins are starting 5 Feliciano clones along the OL

I'd say AJE and Milano jointly. Matt is balling out. But Groot was good too.

I think you also have to give credit to the bills for developing epenesa.   Last year he was scratched a couple times.   COVID did not help but he was an absolute beast today.

Agreed...  he may not have had the stats today but he has been a beast this year!

Yeah milano was everywhere.  Milano as a blitzer >>>>>>>>>>>>>  Edmunds as a blitzer

Grout was also very impressive. Epenesa just seems to have found an extra gear of destruction

I would love it if one of our media types would do a piece on who is playing where, how much on the OL

The big surprise to me on the inactives was Harrison Phillips.  But, even with Star out, he only played 36% of the snaps last week.

Zimmer saw 40%, Butler saw 50%, and Big Ed saw 62%.  Obada had 26% and pretty sure I saw him playing inside at DT at times.

I wonder if this is a "healthy scratch but not really" situation where he isn't on the injury report but is still needing to work his way back from the knee?

Otherwise, it's looking bad for Mr. Horrible; either Butler or Zimmer or both have jumped him on the depth chart.
