Nope, can't read yet again.  I said you have your head up his butt, which is true.  I didn't say only Trump is to blame.  What should have been done the past 20 years is to wipe out the Taliban and terrorist threats in that country.  That is on all 4 presidents who dropped the ball.

It’s quite “Trumpy.”

Hilarious! Withdrawal? What you’re looking at is a catastrophic mission failure in which Americans are now getting killed. Congress has the oversight responsibility to see firsthand what the heck is going on there. We all know we’ll have no access once your PERFECT withdrawal is done on Tuesday.

I said you have your head up your ass if you think it's that easy and for talking about me having me head up Trump's ass when I said he and Barry weren't to blame for Afghanistan, much less the shitshow that happened yesterday.  Man I swear Trump has infected your brains!

Another guy who needs to take his head out of Trump’s butt to actually read.  Biden is responsible for the deaths of those 13 brave warriors because he screwed up the withdrawal.  We would not have been in the position where that happened if the last 4 presidents had formulated policies to take care of the Taliban and terrorist threats definitively.

What policies should they have enacted?

Sorry, must have missed this.  So your plan is to kill anyone in Afghanistan who is or could be a Taliban?

yeah, the Left is such a discerning voting Bloc

The biggest problem we have as a nation is these Leftist-infested voting areas that elect anyone with a pulse who has Socialist tendencies and then they keep foisting them up the Leftist political apparatus and they have the power to ruin our lives.

Force.  Overwhelming and devastating force from the most powerful military in the history of the world.  Use Bush the First as a template, but go further.  Get your allies together, get your troops, and give them a defined mission.  Hunt down and destroy any Taliban forces and terrorist cells in Afghanistan.  It is time to stop kidding ourselves.  Radical Islam is a battle of good vs. evil.  They want us dead, they want our allies the Israelis dead, they want to destroy us.  You don't negotiate with such people.  You destroy them.  And for 20 years we have not because we have had weak and feckless leadership from our Presidents.

Ya gotta love a guy that tells it how it is.

Unless you are the tender, coddled sort.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/trump-biden-afghan-crisis-dumbest-move

In Afghanistan, Trump said Biden and the commanders sought to withdraw as he had but that they did so in the exact backward order: "They forgot one thing, they forgot to take the people with them and the merchandise with them, meaning they forgot to take the greatest military equipment anywhere in the world with them, and it's hard to believe, actually, because a child would have understood. You get the military out last. A child would have understood that. How could they have done this to our country?"

You’re supposed to destroy the equipment, which is what they’re planning to do at the end.

As a citizen, we shouldn’t want the stuff coming back here because it gets auctioned off or awarded to you local police and then is used on our own citizens. The police shouldn’t have tanks and other military gear. They aren’t soldiers.

It’s a bad take that I’ve seen pretty often lately.

I don't think you can win that kind of war, my friend.  When you have no way of telling the good guys from the bad guys, the best you can hope for is a permanent stalemate.

Biden has full responsibility for these deaths.

Those are the exact words I wrote.  You, sir, are an idiot.

Now, let's look at the 20 years that led us to yesterday, where Biden screwed up the withdrawal and cost us 13 Americans.  Yesterday was the culmination of 20 years of horsebleep policies from Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden.  Bush should have done what his dad did, put together an overwhelming force to wipe out the terrorists in Afghanistan and the Taliban that supported them.  He didn't.  Mistake one.  Obama should have then shown more foreign policy chops and not laid down red lines in Syria that he then ignored - that showed all the terrorists including the Taliban that if they were patient America would cave.  Mistake two.  Trump then tries to be friends with despots around the world, cuts a deal with the TAliban that short circuits the Afghan government and cuts them off at the knees, and allows 5000 Taliban to be released to fight us.  Mistake three.  Biden then comes in, completely FUBARs the withdrawal, and gets 14 soldiers killed.  Mistake four.

Other the the pre-civil was period, we have never seen a stretch of presidents as weak as the ones we have had in this century.

You like to make excuses for biden. You’re a Warhawk, an old Warhawk whose ass isn’t on the line.

Go to your county jail and look at what’s in the center courtyard. They don’t want you to know that stuff is there. That’s why they’re hiding it there.

How do I know that? I know engineers that design jails.

Yeah, someone has already asked me if I would send my daughters into it and I said yes.

The Internet tough guys around here are people like you.  You reek of false, jingoistic patriotism.  You like to insult and bash folks who don't to to what you think is right in the world.  You yell about folks who kneel during the anthem and so on.  But when push comes to shove, you want our country to be weak.  You want to spend more than the next 30 countries in the world on our military, then not have the stones to use it to fight evil in the world.

Sending troops into the field is the most difficult decision a President can ever make.  If that job were mine, I would not make it lightly.  And if I had to make the dreaded phones call to a parent or a spouse that their loved one died in service, I'm sure I'd do so with tears in my eyes, and that it would affect me greatly.  But we have an existential threat to us in the Middle East.  An existential threat to us, to our allies especially in Israel, a threat to freedom, a threat to the women and children of that country who will now be enslaved at best.  And you want to do nothing.  Not me.  America stands for good vs. evil, for freedom, for human rights and decency in the world.  At least my America does.  Maybe yours doesn't.

Good guys would die.  It happens in war, and is not to be taken lightly.  But you watch, we'll have troops back in there before Biden's term is up to fight the terrorist cells that are going to prop up.

I really think the reaction to this, while valid, is missing the point, and the only solution.

Folks are blaming bad behavior by inhuman punks on politicians in the US.

Of course it could have been handled better, and I did not vote for Trump, Clinton, or Biden.

Still, the point isn't that those folks screwed up.

The point is that fundamentalist lunatics in the Muslim faith are getting support and supplies from somebody else.

They are incapable of producing military hardware, or in this case, simplistic weapons.

It seems the focus is on ISIS Khorasan, known as Isis K.

This is Pakistan supported.

There are two countries who support this kind of madness, not as a national posture, but under the sheets.

Iran and Pakistan.

That is where the international community needs to bring to accountability.

You can run one US president after another up the flagpole and it isn't going to matter.

The solution lies in eliminating support.

All your cute pictures and tweet references from anybody and everybody with an opinion aren't going to change the fact Biden and his group of buffoons screwed up the withdrawal to a degree nobody would have imagined was possible and Americans are dead as a result.  They need to be held accountable and suffer the consequences.

And some advice...  When you find yourself in a hole from defending an indefensible position, stop digging!

We have thousands and thousands and thousands of posts from the past five years of your cult here turning themselves into pretzels defending the former SOB - even today you freaks are white washing and rewriting history as if though there isn't a sound record of the abomination of the last administration.

Take your own advice.

PS: Tell me the last time we lost a war and had an American president surrender to a terrorist organization (and not the government we spent trillions propping for the past 20 years) and spin it as Middle East peace?

And btw - all lives are precious - why are you not equally upset about the casualties of Trumps dereliction of duty fighting COVID?

In order to evacuate Americans and Afghans after we leave Aug 31 we will need the cooperation of the Taliban .

In order to strike ISIS we need the cooperation of the Taliban who can give us intel on their location. The Taliban hate ISIS as much as we do.

On the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco some suffer from a couple behavior afflictions.  Cognitive dissonance and compulsive-obsessive disorder.

Continuing to cling to the belief that Biden is competent and successful when the facts don't support that in any way.  The result is mental confusion and an inability to process reality.

And the second, continuing to obsess about Trump.  Elevating his influence to some God-like level over all things and events which might be some subconscious love/hate psychological conflict.  Refusing to move on with life.

This is based on intelligence from an organization that did not predict the swift Taliban take over and did not have enough intelligence  info after 20 years to predict the attack at the airport.

What if the Taliban cooperates with ISIS K, l,m,or,p,q.

It is sickenng to listen to the briefing and listen to the"redouble" game of efforts and "doubledown" of our efforts. Such bs.,

They are going to have an investigation into the bombing so we can learn "going forward"...20 years wasted, lives wasted, money wasted.

Really?

I was reading reports that stated intel that there was an imminent attack two days before this, on of all things, social media.

This wasn't an intel failure.

This was a leadership failure.
