No - bullshittt - these bigots codified discrimination right into their law books.

And shocking - @B-Man must not have received his updated talking points to counter what the ACTUAL bill does.

Florida has always been a backwater place.

It's a shame cause of the nice beaches and weather but Alabama has that too and Florida is just Alabama with more old people. I don't think anyone nationally woulda been excited about an Alabama governor running for President, like ever... but thats what you have with Meatball

Dumb.  And Delaware is, well, who gives a ***** about Delaware?  It's a rest stop between NJ/Penn and Maryland.

Ahhh yeas the typical Amherst local… think they are world traveled because they went to the casino at Niagara once and the world revolves around the city of Buffalo.

why was Meatball meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister anyway? is Florida planning a trade deal? (thats a joke)

I thank God I don't live in that state and have to root for the Dolphins with a governor more concerned about his own political prospects than the state he promised to govern

Something about Glass houses and Hochul

no, he's not. I think he is damaging their future significantly on multiple levels

Such as?

Right now, it seems people are choosing Florida as its one of the leading destination states for domestic migration.

So Mickey Mouse was at the psychiatrists's office and the doctor asked him, so tell me why you think Minnie is crazy?

Mickey said, I didn't say she was crazy, I said she is f'n Goofy!

Doctor: Oh!

No mouse is above the law.

As reported, Disney has filed suit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over his takeover of its theme park district, alleging the governor waged a “targeted campaign of government retaliation” after the company opposed the Parental Rights in Education bill. Just a quick reminder: Disney picked this fight after management caved to the inmates running the asylum.

Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Deputy Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern reminded Disney and its allies that Disney has enjoyed special privileges that don’t apply to a single other corporation in Florida.

They want to get back on the nipple of Florida tax dollars so bad…

It suggests that they are a little bit desperate because their revenue stream is drying up now that they are basically the LGBT/groomer network rather than children’s entertainment.

Disney will win this lawsuit. It is a classic case of of a targeted action meant to suppress one particular viewpoint. You can't do that.

Desantis is a lawyer, and he knows this. But he also knows that "owning the libs" is the way you get attention now in a Republican primary, so he doesn't care. He doesn't even care if it will waste Florida taxpayer's money and cost them lost tax revenue. The Meatball wants to be President, to hell with everything else.

Old people are. And old people always have and always will migrate to Florida mostly because of the weather.

Families, working families, aren't packing up to go down there

to answer your first question I think Meatball is being shortsighted and damaging the quality of his state's future by overstepping into education, healthcare, private businesses and constitutional rights of his state just to score some points with the "narrative"

You need to leave whatever bubble you live in. You are competing with Bills time for the most uninformed posts. Families are moving to Florida in droves which is why FL has 2.8 million students while NY has 2.5 million. FL has been outperforming NY in education for 20 years, along with businesses starting here left and right. But keep harking back to 1980 arguments.

No they won't.  As they've stated, Disney enjoys things other corporations in Florida don't.

Easy to outperform them when you drop half the curriculum because you can’t handle discussions of racism.
