If this is the kinda thing republicans are going to talk about heading into the elections, they’re going to get annihilated. I can’t believe they still haven’t learned these lessons. Really weird stuff.

I have to say that Biden is the luckiest dude in history. He had a relatively easy race the first time and this one looks even better AND he’s going to have Congress to start his 2nd term. Pretty amazing actually. Obama is probably like “you kidding me?”

Ha…

Floridians do not give af.

Disney already had those cost cutting plans.. they repackaged it to manipulate people.

DeSantis is laughing at Iger with a 60%+ approval rating and a Florida electorate that is increasingly hostile to Disney’s political games.

This is how you keep red states red… and then make them redder.

Disney scraps plans to relocate 2,000 Californians to Florida … good.. Most Floridians applaud that.  Those creatives from California said they didn’t want to relocate.  It was dead in the water.

As I said before the fact that you are ok with promoting porn for children is something I disagree with vehemently. There is nothing I find more important than protecting my children from those who would abuse them, which is something I understand more and more is not universal. The only reason that I believe conservatives have a chance this cycle is that they can always fall back on the fact that liberals counties  have a murder rate almost 10-1 that conservative counties and murder is becoming a much bigger issue than in 2016.

This is a nice little preview of what a DeSantis presidency would look like. The ads write themselves.

It is always good to know you suck at math also. The scope of the project was never a billion and the jobs being cut are not "staying" in California, they are simply being cut. Basically Disney is using DeSantis to not pay the cost of the cut jobs in California. I will point out that in February I mentioned that Disney might be doing this relocation in order to deal with the California laws, which this gives them great cover. They "transferred" the jobs but now the jobs are gone for liberal reasons, no pay needed.

ugh.  DWS saying they are not working the fields.  Nikki Freid stating that homes are not being built due to No workers.  NYS governor said they could start working cooking food and farms.

So daft.  Why would Asylum seekers work fields or be putting on roofs?

And when did fortune 500 corporate America align 100% with the DEMS?

Meatball cost his state thousands of jobs

They have been saying that for 2 years.  the tax breaks in cali probably help sweeten the pot.  is this them paying their fair share?

Republicans biggest win would be to just let some of this stuff happen in blue states.

Most can’t message like DeSantis and Youngkin.

Let blue cities send migrants out to the suburbs.

Let Dems openly push further and further with their trans agenda towards children.

Let Dems push for trans to compete in womens sports more and more.

Be vocal against it, but allow it to happen.

A big issue R’s have had in the culture war isn’t their ideology… it’s that normal voters, who don’t pay attention to politics and don’t listen to podcast, follow politician folks on Twitter etc … those people still hold outdated beliefs about what Democrats and Republicans are.

Look what’s happens when normal voters see trans tuck swimming suits for 8 years olds in Target.   My SIL walked in and walked out, and on her ATL suburban mom group (an area Trump struggles with) moms were furious and are in shock that this could happen.  Im

not… but I pay attention to this stuff.

Parents who’s daughters have share a locker room with a man.  Let it happen.

I grew up on Long Island… when I tell you I’ve never seen a reaction like I’m seeing right now from everyone I know up there with them shipping migrants out to Riverhead….

Let this stuff happen.  Force people to confront the new reality of what each party stands for.   Because all they get is a filtered media bias that distorts the reality and hides the ugly parts.

R’s biggest issue with normies, when it comes to the culture wars, is that they try to stop these things from happening.

Let them.  Let them push the trans agenda on children openly.  Let men and women share locker rooms.  Let the migrant crisis spill into the suburbs.  Let the homeless crisis spiral.

It’s all going to anyway if people keep voting blue.   Force them to confront the new reality.

Allow some of this stuff to happen, and someone like DeSantis not only wins, but likely wins a state like Virginia.  (Which he currently is tied in polling with Biden in)

As for Disney … no one in Florida cares that they slashed 2000 jobs to be occupied by California creatives who didn’t want to relocate.   This is a manipulated story that Dems are falling for and corporate R’s like Larry Hogan, Mitt Romney and Alyssa Farrah use against DeSantis bc they want to be the party of GW Bush.

Oh, and Trumps team is using it… because they’re scared that the national polls aren’t indicative of what this race will become and are attacking DeSantis from the left.

Bob Iger thanks you for your unwavering obedience to lapping up his corporate propaganda.

1) This isn’t bad for DeSantis, as the only people who care would never vote for him or are on the Trump campaign team

2) He has a 60%+ approval rating in the fastest growing state in the country, with a booming economy.

3) Floridians did not want 2,000 Californians being relocated to Florida.  This wasn’t new jobs.. it was a shifting of resources that Iger panned last year and is repackaging as propaganda now.

4) Political time span is nonexistent.  Nobody will remember this in a week.  Remember when Disney “foiled” DeSantis with the Reedy Creek legal challenge … only to find that DeSantis actually held the legal upper hand .. and now nobody ever mentions it.

What happened to free market Republicans?

Keep spinning and turning yourself into a pretzel defending these communists.

Americans do not care about these pathetic manufactured “wins” DeSantis is having in Florida.

No one is pushing trans on others except in your echo chamber.

This. They are looking to cut $5.5 billion and this was part of it.  I suppose DeSantis is to blame for the galactic cruiser debacle as well.

They’re basically just canceling all the terrible decisions/plans made under Chapek. And as an aside, why do they need to shut the Star Wars hotel down? Why not just reduce the prices? They’re incredibly over inflated, so I’m sure they can still make some money off of it.

Politico hit piece on Casey DeSantis was not on my bingo card today…

Now I truly think DeSantis has a legit chance to take down Trump according to those who pay attention to internal polling of campaigns and don’t simply regurgitate name recognition national polls.

We’re now attacking an incredibly popular, recent cancer survivor, First Lady of Florida … ok, I’m sure that will end will for whoever decided to put Michael Kruse up to it.

The major cost of the star wars hotel was the human characters and in order to cut the cost to a level that people would show up there would be no profit with the man power cost. The hotel itself is apparently on par with some of the budget hotels, without a pool, so the repurpose will be difficult. Basically Chapek was about as wrong as possible on this one.

This *checks notes* 177 page thread on a governor that hasn’t even announced yet says exactly otherwise.

It says without question leftists are terrified of him.

It says without question conservatives are picking him over Trump.

Disney chose the LGBHRZKKSEAWKLVCTRWS4690 agenda for kids and DeSantis (who represents parents that don’t think their 8 year olds need to be exposed to the LGBHRZKKSEAWKLVCTRWS4690 agenda) is fighting on their behalf.

Terrified.  Every lib that posts in here daily tells you the exact opposite of your post.

And you know it.

Now excuse me - I’m going to buy a 14 dollar burrito bowl at chipotle that has half the meat it did 3 years ago thanks to shrinkflation and costs what it does do Bidenomics.

English-language speakers also use the word gulag in reference to each of the forced-labor camps that existed in the Soviet Union, including the camps that existed in the post-Lenin era. Are you a time traveler for 1980 with no clue of what has happened since 1990? The average age in Orange County Florida is 35 while Erie County is 40. We have a decent amount of old people but far more young people than Buffalo and the ones moving are largely working age.
