Not really. A drone is usually controlled by data link. A cruise missile is an independent actor once it's launched, although it can be adjusted a bit. Point is that drones are not too hard to jam. Flying a drone over a US carrier in the Persian Gulf is not a big deal, and there is no video of anyone on its wing, although there may well have been an "escort." Either way, guarantee it was being tracked. Carrier task forces are far more "engaged" than the average person is aware of. Lots of boats.
