OldTimer1960 Posted March 20, 2021 Share Posted March 20, 2021 Well, I think a young DE is the biggest need, but I don’t think the draft sets up well to find one there - if lucky, they may get a Shaq Lawson level player at end of round 1. mjt328 Posted March 20, 2021 Share Posted March 20, 2021 The clear weakness last season was on defense. Our biggest need is cornerback. Followed closely by edge rusher. Followed by depth at defensive tackle and linebacker. Any offensive upgrades would be nice, but they certainly aren't our biggest needs. At this point, our offense is almost identical to the one that finished #2 in scoring and #2 in yards last season. The only changes so far are Emmanuel Sanders for John Brown (who missed half the season anyway) and the possible loss of Isaiah McKenzie as our gadget guy. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This, IMO, is a big time need!! Someone who would provide the push up the middle with the ability to help the run. Add in a TJ Watt, a Bosa, Brian Burns kinda player will make all the difference in the world to this defense. Corner suddenly isn’t as big of a need, Edmunds and Milano look way better, speed up the clock on a quarterback and make him get rid of the ball in 3 seconds and all our guys will be looking like all pro level players including the old ends and DT’s 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
