Not a poke, just curious if the Phins fan gestalt is really to still blame Tannehill?  I mean, he's QBing the league's #3 offense on points right now, and while he doesn't have huge passing attempts or yards, he is pretty durn efficient - 65% completions, 240 ypg, 12 ypc, 32 TD 7 INT.  He was pretty good last year too when he won comeback player of the year.  Which sort of says to me maybe it was some other factor amiss in Miami (I personally give it 4 letters ,starts with "G")

Indeed.   He is the type of QB that can do well with a great defense and a strong running game.  He is smart and makes effective use of his limited passing game.  He is not good enough to carry an average team or make the players around him better.

Whaaaaa? Who's claimed that? We had a ***** show going on for years before Flo and Co. Came to town. We were literally down there with Cleveland, and the jets. Tannenbaum straight up ruined us even worse than I thought could be possible since we were already ruined before that.

That being said, we are sooooooooo much better than were were pre Coach Flo and co. Everyone is on the same page now. And its working.

No doubt Flo has done a great job but Tua was his pick. I understand it's still early but outside of very good accuracy I don't see anything "elite" about his game and his injury history would worry me as well. He's not the biggest guy and has had a lot of lower body issues. Flo will turn things around but he's gotta live with that pick. Expect him to pick up a starting caliber vet at QB to compete with Tua.

You know how dolphins are the only other mammals on earth to have sex for pleasure... well phins up means dolphins all up in dat ass for the win!

Hope that answers your question! 🍺

A group of monkeys also does...in fact they have a "sex culture" to the point where they have orgies...but apparently it works for them and there is almost no violent behavior amongst them.

I think he meant the GM Tannenbaum unless you are asking about Tannehill as an aside

They do seem to be on the right track. I'm looking forward to a good rivalry between the Bills and Dolphins.

That being said, I can not sold on Tua at all. He seems ... underwhelming to me, but he's a rookie. We'll see if he improved.

That’s a good take and way to describe him, MJS.

He’s just underwhelming. Definitely doesn’t come close to matching the hype.

Mostly injuries doomed him in Miami although Gase didn't help.  The talent was always there which is why he landed a big second contract in Miami.  His offensive line and weapons were pretty bad to subpar throughout his tenure there.  He missed all of 2017 with the ACL tear and then lost his ability to throw the deep ball dealing with a shoulder injury in 2018.  He got healthy and fell into an offense that played to his strengths.  He's good and pry is in the 6 to 10 range if I had to rank him right now.

Bonobos. A type of great ape. Our closest animal relative. Might explain hippies.

I'm no dolphin expert but I'm pretty sure that's not how sex works for them

You are correct.  At least we have an explaination of what the Fins fan thinks that means, though.

Captive cetaceans develop floppy dorsal fins (the reason for this is debated).  I was thinking it meant the Fins were at least swimming in the ocean again and their floppy fins were now standing up properly

To be fair, Fromm is an unknown quantity at present.  But Fitz>>>>Barkley for sure.

That said, I don't want to restart the "Fitzpatrick Cycle" in B'lo.

In unfairness to your response, never seeing the field is exactly why Barkley > Fromm & of course,  Fitz >  Barkley.

Fitz would know his role here, would never challenge that he deserves to start over Allen and would be a fantastic back up for us.

Nothing has ever remained the same so there’s no ‘restart’. It’s all about the present. Buy him a 7 BR house in the ‘burbs and live out his days in WNY. His post football career would be set as a sports show host and he is more capable than any other back up QB playing today -assurance of continued team success, should disaster befall us.

I'm thinking McD might surprise us here by being ruthless and playing the starters. Mostly to keep the Bills humming along in top form, but also to play up the narrative that Tua needs his bearded Binky from Harvard to hold his hand.

I like the idea of recreating Kelly v Marino in Tua v Allen.  But I want a scenario like Brady vs AFCE scrub of the week a lot more.

Game manager...get him behind and watch him fold :)

If you can get up a couple scores it takes 22 out of play and then Tannehill has to make throws he is not comfotable with.
