While trump will drag his feet, there is no avoiding this, and expect the news organizations to continue to call this today. congrats President Biden. The thing I think the right should fear is lingering memories of 2016. The left has always had issues with getting out to vote. I think 2016 woke the left out of complacency. The memories of 2016 will drive larger left vote more often, just look at 2018.
