With no path to victory in Pennsylvania for Trump, organizations have started to call the race for Biden.  While trump will drag his feet, there is no avoiding this, and expect the news organizations to continue to call this today.

congrats President Biden.  And love him or hate him, Trump pulled off an amazing campaign again.

I guess they both did... Unless you don't give credit to the Biden campaign for driving more turn-out.

If not, then was it Trump's fault?

If so, then did he actually run a terrible campaign?

Uh oh, we're going in circles here.

both bases came out strong and in unprecedented numbers.  So both candidates should be applauded imo

this is 100 percent Trumps fault. If he would have been less Trump and more normal, so many people would not have voted against him.

It would be nice to figure out how many voted " for " Joe vs how many voted " against " Trump.....Americans were just tired of the clown show.....another candidate from the GOP, not named Trump, might have had a better chance.......

Or better yet, voted for Joe Biden because of the way the pandemic was handled. With it the realization the country would never stand united in a time of crisis with Donald Trump as president. When this message is conveyed to our teachers and professors across the country and on top of it you compromise their ability to teach safely. Compromised their ability to keep the children safe and all the grandmas and grandpas they come in contact with.  Good luck winning the next election.

Yep. There were very real health and social implications that necessitated getting this guy out of that seat/away from that podium.

I think the voting showed a statement against (1) Trump and (2) the woke far left

This is correct.
This is not a mandate for leftism no matter the result.

Still appears to be lots of chicanery going on. Battleground state ballot dumps.
The electoral process is diseased.

The perception that a Dem President would have handled this any better is what drove the deciding votes to Biden.  The problem is he won't finish his term and Kammy won't get re-elected.  Meanwhile the Dem party will tear themselves apart trying to go more left.

If Trump had just showed some compassion and empathy for the hundreds of thousands of victims he might have won, but he is so incapable of thinking of anyone but himself, and it shows

This election has always been a mandate on Trump.

The thing I think the right should fear is lingering memories of 2016. The left has always had issues with getting out to vote. I think 2016 woke the left out of complacency. The memories of 2016 will drive larger left vote more often, just look at 2018.

The right needs to worry if they can get out the vote without a Trump on the ballot or do they go back to normal voting patterns.

Why not?

Seems pretty speculative yet you present it as fact.

Hear me now, believe me later.  Again Nan pushing the 25th amendment wasn't just about Trump.

Empathy wouldn't have made a difference.  The narrative was he was responsible for the deaths.

I don't think this is a perception though. Just by virtue of he refusing to wear masks or even advocate for their use, having rallies with no social distancing, downplaying the seriousness of the epidemic, wishing it away with warm weather, all the statements in contradiction to his own medical experts while the virus rages and is on an upswing as I type this......Donald Trump DID handles the corona virus scourge badly I don't think it is even debatable

Congratulations to Joe Biden. Maybe being nice to people will start trending again.

Watching Corey Lewandowski rant and rave yesterday was probably the greatest television I’ve seen all year.

saying that Joe Biden won't survive his term is in the poorest of taste.

Is he elderly Yes.

Is he in apparent good health? Yes.

Are we all mortal? Yes.   clearly we will all die some day. But to say he won't finish his term isn't in your wisdom to announce and if nothing else its bad karma. How'd you like that being said abut Trump? About your father lets say.........poor taste.

the left discussed the 25th starting the day he was elected so you can't exactly claim the high ground here.

Apples and oranges, aristo.

No it’s not it’s just hypocrisy. Just as I’ve laid out how you managed to vote in a more racist candidate than Trump has ever been. Just pure hypocrisy on the left and it’s beautiful to see.

You said it right -- love him or hate him.  Trump drove almost every single vote.

There was no Biden enthusiasm as much as there was Trump hate.
