My big question is this: How the heck is this Delta when we had a Laura? did someone at the NWS forget their alphabet?

They ran through the alphabet... Now it's Greek names.

We have had a lot of named storms this year.

According to NOAA Hurricane Center it will be a depression with rain. Despite Media flair, a depression is not a Hurricane, nor is a tropical storm.  Game will not be cancelled. There will likely be rain and it may be heavy at times.

Won’t the hurricane be nothing more than heavy rain by the time it reaches Tennessee?

This is my concern.  A sloppy field is a great equalizer in terms of how it plays.  Wind is even more a potential game factor.  Drizzle is one thing and a downpour is quite another.

The winds will be down but there will be some rain - heavy at times.

I thought this game should be moved to Buffalo due the Covid situation. I don’t want the Bills anywhere near Tenn’s facilities or staff...who knows how many more are infected.

I'm kind of going the opposite way.  I don't want the Titans anywhere near our facilities or staff!

I trust the Bills to have a methodical operations staff who will go in there and clean the place up, make it safe for our guys while staying safe themselves.

All the weather sites I have checked say rain is done saturday evening. Even if it was raining and windy, why would they not play the football game there? Plenty of games have been played with rain and wind.

But again, Accuweather, weather.gov (national weather service) both show nothing wrong with game day.

Current forecast on weather.com is Sunday 74 degrees, 90% chance of rain, 1/2 inch of rain, 5-10 MPH winds.

Is that the "nothing wrong" on Accuweather and weather.gov?

(I agree that rain and 10 mph winds are not atypical for a fall football game and 74 degrees makes the rain more bearable)

I thought about that the other day. I would imagine the Bills would send in their own crew to clean, disinfect, sanitize, and sterilize everything. Stay at a hotel and only show up for the game. Maybe get some mask for the face mask and make everyone wear a visor.

You KNOW it’s 2020, right???

PLEASE STOP!!!

We play in rain and breezy, that’s all it will be unless we get some freak lightning. Three decades of living in hurricane territory tell me that. Josh has the arm to deal with that......he was drafted for WNY.
