The Chiefs could pair him with Karlaftis, their 1st round pick last year, who is entering year two of his rookie deal but then what do they do with this year's 1st round DE selection Anudike-Uzomah? The Brownies have Garrett and his large price tag so adding Bosa would be dedicating a lot of the cap to one position. Plus they traded for Za'Darius Smith and signed him to a 4 year deal that has $10.5 million fully guaranteed this year. As for the Bengals they have the aforementioned Hendrickson who they just signed to an extension that keeps him in Cinci through the 2025 season. On the other side that have Hubbard who is also inked though the 2025 season at an average of $10 million plus. Not to mention they still have Burrow's and Higgins' extensions to get done. The next two teams in cap space are the Colts and Jets.

I'm confused by this in that Yates is reporting it created roughly $32 million in cap space. Since that tweet the only Bills move was to resign Dodson to a 1 year deal. The NFL network said just a couple of hours ago, when discussing their free agents and the holes they have, that the Bills have just over $7 million in cap space available. I may have misunderstood the number but still he did say Elam was the last player on their board with a 1st round grade. I would guess those two weren't give a 2st round grade. Maybe their were others.

In his press conference Beane said a lot of things you'd expect him to say and didn't say anything at all with his answers to some questions. One thing he said that struck me was they had 21 players with 1st round grades and then added Elam was the last player they had on their board in that group. Well the Bills traded up to 23 to take him so that would mean 2 players (and Breece Hall) taken before him weren't given a 1st round grade by the Bills. Who do you think they were? Give me CB Derion Kendrick from UGA - probably a 5th or 6th round selection. If not for some character issues that caused him to be dismissed from Clemson and a slow 40 time of 4.75 he would have been considered one of the top CBs in this draft.

Traded the 25th, 130th (4th round) and next year's 1st and 5th to Washington for the 11th. With the 25th they took QB Sam Howell. They traded the 130th to the Jest who took TE Jelani Woods in exchange for the Jest picks at 146 and 163. The Commanders then took LB Terrel Bernard and RB Pierre Strong

Top CBs and WRs were gone so I traded out of 25 for the 30th and 3rd next year. Then I traded the 30th and 94th for the 32nd and 66th with the Lions. Once again not real happy with who was there and happy with the Jets offer of the 35th and a 2nd next year for the 32nd and 89th. Going by the draft pick value chart that's what it would take. The 1st this year is worth 720pts and the 3rd is worth 145pts. So 865pts. The 1st next year if the make the AFC Championship game and lose is 640pts and the 5th would be 23 pts for a total of 663 pts. Combine the 2 years and you get 1528 pts which worth 28pts more than the 1500 the 7th overall is worth. If Sauce is a good as everyone thinks he is he can start right away. Play zone and help shut down players like Waddle, Hill, Parker and whoever else is added this offseason.
