If Trump loses and refuses to leave

Wrong.  They take all his assets, including this $100m, and he goes to prison.  Even if it takes 2 years to convict him, it's still hard to golf well knowing it's coming.  If/when they do remove him, his next strategy will be to hold up the courts, and hope for a Repub president who will pardon him in 2024(one of his kids).  That's what I hate most about Trump supporters is they think he's some kind of wizard.  He's a 1 trick pony.

With trump moving to become President for life who is the money behind the coup. Wall street, Gates, Bezos, etc etc are very silent. Not suggesting these guys are involved but I am concerned that private citizens prominent in political issues are silent about trumps obvious intention. No one commenting from either side of the aisle. I think many are afraid to panic the public about what maybe happening. They are afraid to take on trump publically.

CNN used the term dictator today. While they are left and anti trump that is a bold yet truthful expression of his goal.

IMHO this voting challenge stuff is a misdirection for his real intention. There will be no transition.

Please America....consider what us happening....

I think Trump is in denial, and so are his supporters. Time is on our side. They need a little time to accept reality. We will get there.

I thought Gates and Buezo’s were part of the Deep State?

Not everything is a conspiracy. Trump lost. His legal cases aren’t overturning anything. His lawyers haven’t brought cases in court to overturn the election. They are just soothing his ego.

His route to an improper re-election could really only be via unfaithful electors.

He doesn't even realize he still needs to try and run this country while he is still in office.

This is more proof he never cared about this country he only cared about if people followed him. All Trump ever wanted was sheep followers, problem is it came with running the country.

I hope you are correct in what is happening, but I think there is something more serious and nefarious going on here.

The next 14 days will tell all, does he spend his time punishing his enemies and creating money is,Dr for Biden, or dies he make moves to solidify his power in major agencies and the GOP organization.

If he begins rallies I am afraid he has no plan to give up power.

just a reminder

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2020-11-09/us-presidential-election-not-over-heres-where-things-stand-right-now

The media cannot decide who wins. The media can simply project who they think will win based on vote totals at a given time. And unless the loser formally concedes prior to December 14ththe election remains in play.

So where are we in terms of the 2020 Presidential election?

For starters, the races in multiple states (Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona) are close enough to require mandatory recounts (within a margin of 0.5%).

On top of this, the Trump administration will be filing lawsuits in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Arizona alleging fraud, illegitimate votes being counted, and GOP officials being barred from witnessing the ballots being tallied.

Whether or not the Trump administration is right about this remains to be seen.

However, the fact lawsuits are being filed means the election will move into the courts. If the courts decide that the evidence the Trump administration presents is compelling, they can require a formal vote audit.

If, during the vote audit, actual fraud is discovered, the court can rule that those votes are no longer valid, the formal vote counts can change, and it is possible that a given state ends up declaring a different winner

That's some source. There is no mandatory recount at 0.5% in all of those states. Completely inaccurate.

AZ only does a mandatory recount at less than 0.1%. Right now it's at 0.4%

PA does a recount at 0.5%. It's at 0.7%.

NV is at 2.7%, don't know its laws because...who cares, it's not even close enough to be in any conversation.

MI is at 2.5%, don't know its laws because...who cares, it's not even close enough to be in any conversation.

GA will do a recount. WI will seemingly also do a recount if Trump requests and donors (suckers) pay for it.

Still waiting to see the evidence of hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes from 2020. I expect to wait about as long as I've been waiting to see the millions of votes he said were fraudulently cast for Hillary.

As you said a couple states have recounts. Historically, recounts have not changed projected winners.

According to the Associated Press, there have been 31 recounts in statewide elections since 2000, and only three of them have changed the outcome of an election.

Georgia: Under state law, a candidate can request a recount up to two days after the results have been certified if the margin of victory is less than .5%of the total tally (Biden leads Trump by .15% and the race has yet to be called.)

Wisconsin: A candidate can request a recount if the margin of victory is within 1% and the Trump campaign has vowed to request one already (Biden was projected winner of the state but leads by about .6%).

Arizona: A recount is automatically triggered if the margin of victory is less than or equal to .1% of the final outcome, but a candidate cannot request one otherwise (Biden leads Trump by about .6% and the AP has called the race for the Democrat, but the margin has narrowed).

Pennsylvania: The state’s secretary of state must order a recount if the margin between the two candidates is within .5% of the total tally, but a recount can also be initiated in individual districts if at least three voters request one (Biden leads by greater than .5% in the state and the AP has called the race for the Democrat).

He's a sociopath.  He cares for nobody or nothing except what he wants.

There have been a couple of news reports claiming that anonymous sources within the WH have said that the reason that Senate Republicans have not acknowledged Biden as the President-elect is that Trump has threatened to withhold his support in the January 5  Georgia Senate race if they don't close ranks with him.   That this scenario is even plausible speaks volumes about the soon-to-be ex-POTUS.

I think that you are in denial as to a candidate being able to challenge the results.  What's a little time?  It's been 4 years now since 2016 and YOU have still not accepted the results of the 2016 Election.

You have to have some kind of evidence to challenge in court.  Where is it and why is that such a difficult concept to grasp?

Where is it?  It's in the hands of lawyers.  There is no law saying that you have a ringside seat to all this.  Why is it difficult to grasp?  That most likely is a problem that resides with you.

Ok Rob...let's say you are right and his push is all legal issues.

What IF you are wrong and he is pushing to maintain power past Jan 20. What do you think if trump holds rallies outside of Georgia.

Will you continue to support him?

That is nearly 70 days away.  I am sure the courts recognize the need to be expedient or will lay out for all to see the need to go past the 20th.

Then why have the lawyers not shown it?  Why have any challenges thus far been thrown out of court?  Thta is not as you put it an elementary school concept, it is the reality o the situation and folks like you refuse to come to terms with it.

Every Secretary of State in charge of elections has validated their state's vote count as far as I can see.  Historically the evidence of voter fraud tells us that, if present, it is extremely, extremely small.  The lead Biden has is higher than the state's cutoffs for recounts, with the exception of Georgia (which will recount) and Wisconsin which allows a candidate to demand one.

Why is this a problem?  Several reasons.  It prohibits the peaceful transition of power which is a staple of our democracy and makes us different than other countries.  It is slowing down the transition making it harder for the new administration to hit the ground running on January 20th.  And it places an even bigger divide between people in this country, which is the last thing we need.

Unlike the last four years where Trump and the GOP threw crap at the wall and let the court of public opinion decide issues, Trump actually needs proof to be successful in his current lawsuits, which he has none of so far.

All of their lawsuits are being tossed because they have no proof. Trump is going to leave Washington by Thanksgiving and probably never return. The US Government will function as a rudderless ship until Jan 20.

Is there a lawsuit anywhere with tens of thousands of votes being requested to be overturned and change the result of the election yet?

Waiting...

I'm starting to believe that Trump is acting like this because the campaign is in debt....The GOP is frantically sending emails to all it's members to fund his " legal battles " but the fine print clearly states that a good portion of the donations will go towards the campaign debt.....anyone with half a brain realizes that there's no way that the amount of ballots that could have been miscounted is enough to reverse the result of the election..but Donnie doesn't need another debt....can a campaign file for bankruptcy ?

A few thoughts.

1. Trump is definitely siphoning money from contributions into his pocket.

2. Trump wants to keep his base fired up.

3. Trump will run again in 4 years, and easily become the GOP nominee.

4. Trump wants to put Biden in the worst possible position to govern, putting them in a huge hole as they begin their administration by not allowing the transition of power.

5. Trump hopes to kneecap Biden's administration, trying to increase his odds of voters and especially independents wanting him back in 4 years.

It's all about Donnie. Everything he will do over the next 10 weeks will be fully designed to help his re-election chances in 4 years. He'll sacrifice the American people and the economy now if it helps him in 4 years.

That is absolute best case scenario, which I dont think we'll see.

The recent changes in leadership in Defense and Intelligence paint a much scarier and dire picture of how far he'll be willing to go to stay in office. He is prepping to use the US military against our own citizens.
