Which running back do you hope the Bills draft and why?

1. Zack Moss - Arguably the same tier of prospect as the top guys, but you can theoretically get him in the 3rd round instead of the 2nd.

Cam Akers baffles me. I've heard a lot of people say they love him for the Bills. What am I missing? He seems to be "just a guy" to me. What does he do that is special? What am I not seeing?

AJ Dillion seems like a good compliment to the smaller Singletary. That and I went to BC so I’m biased.

He's my #6 RB in the class, but those that are higher on him than I am would probably argue:

• Great physical profile in terms of physical build, long speed, and explosiveness.
• The only RBs with a higher elusiveness rating are Zack Moss and Javon Leake (on limited snaps).
• One of the better pass blockers in the class.
• Was pretty involved in the passing game at Florida State (to mixed results).

He technically checks pretty much every box you'd look for in a RB and the ones that he doesn't check could theoretically be blamed on the horrific OLine he had at Florida State.

I like a lot of the RB's coming out this year. If either Jonathan Taylor, D'Andre Swift, or J.K. Dobbins falls to 54 - I think you have to pull the trigger. And I wouldn't be upset if they took Clyde Edwards-Helaire at 54 if there were a run on Running Backs. 

 

But I think if neither of the big 3 are available, I'd look at other positions and go RB in the 3rd. Maybe even move up from 3.

The more I watch this kid, the more I love him ? 

 

He’s slight in stature, but he’s a physical and aggressive player who has no problem mixing it up with the big boys.  His speed/quickness is unparalleled, IMO.  Once he sees a hole...he’s gone!  Would be a very fun weapon to have at JA’s disposal.

Singletary needs to block better. It’s partially why Gore was in on so many plays and Yeldon (who isn’t a great blocker, either) was inactive so often.

For most of the draft process he was thought of as a 4th-5th round guy. Seems like he's been getting more love recently though. I personally view him as a 5th-6th.

Can we have 2? Why not!  It would send DiMarco out to pasture and maybe Yeldon.  Go in with Dobbins in the 2nd, Dillon in the 5th and take and edge in the 3rd.  Imagine that backfield.   ( I know, McD needs a vet back there>. Yeldon out and we live with Patty and the big 3 plus Wade

Is it permissible to like some elements but loathe others?

 

Speed is top notch, accelerates well. Really nice hands. If I'm an outside zone team, I like his skill set as a runner.

 

I just think he goes limp when contacted too much and I'm not a fan of some of his pass pro attempts. Balling up like a hedgehog and waiting for someone else to initiate contact seems like a great way to get ***** up.

I have him at #5. Like him better than Moss and Dillon. 

My answer to the question though is Jonathan Taylor. My answer to why is because he is the best.

This is where I’m at too, also because I went to bc and saw more of Dillon  than any other back.  That being said, I can’t think of any bc backs that have had productive pro careers.

I'm sticking with CEH.  He's the best receiving back in this class and I think that skill set is the secret sause that makes this offense become truly elite.   Much like the K-Gun was predicated on Thuman's receiving prowess.

 

That said, I'd be happy with Dobbins if he fell to us, followed by Moss...
