Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 27, 2019 Share Posted October 27, 2019 It seems as if the past 2 games have exposed a pretty serious flaw in the Bills defense. Miami laid a blueprint for having success on the ground against our front and the Eagles buried us because of it. It’s imperative that the Bills get infront of this issue and squash it before it leads to more losses. What is the solution to the flawed run defense? A change up in the DT rotation? Less Star? Less Oliver? Perhaps a trade for a run stuffing DT or even a 2 down MLB? More Alexander in obviousl run downs? Less nickel? Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The reality is that Star sucks (not shocking to anyone who actually pays attention), Hughes looks like his career as a pass rusher is over, Lawson is mediocre, and Murphy sucks (shocking nobody). Happy Posted October 27, 2019 Share Posted October 27, 2019 Star needs to go. Get a 1 tech DT (or two) that has size. Oliver will also need to put on weight and muscle; also more time playing is more experience, which is what he's missing right now. Penetration and pushing the o-line back to collapse the pocket will be key. The QB is someone we all like but he’s inconsistent at best. The Defense is the backbone of this team and needs to not give up 200 yards on the ground. We are a team that is going to play complementary football wether we want to or not.
