Fitzpatrick officially named starter in Miami

I don't really get this Fitz isn't the guy, and if Rosen isn't and is worse then Fitz then what's the worse that could happen, you'd get better draft position to take the actual guy?

Odd.

Seems Miami is tanking, just traded a 2nd for Rosen. Would make more sense to play Rosen to see if he can be the guy.

Or they've already decided he isn't the guy anyways.

Either way the Fish are going to suck and hopefully Fitzpatrick gets them a few wins to take them out of a high selection

The solution to that dilemma is obvious though. Trade for Jadaveon Clowney.

Rosen must honestly look that bad in practice.  I’m surprised.

Rosen is 22 a year younger than Allen. They probably want to give him 6 games as a #2 then insert him in as the starter.

Odd, odd franchise in almost every respect.

No worse than starting Nathan Peterman over Allen.

When you are old and about to retire you move to Florida. It's the law.

Fitz would beat out a lot of starting qbs.  As of right now, he’s the second best qb in the division.

Rosen is in his 2nd year and they just traded a 2nd for him. Why do they not want to see what they have? They aren't trying to develop him for the future. What did they obtain him for if not to find out if he's any good?

I mean, this is just not true.

Ok, maybe not a lot but in a trying fair open competition, he could definitely beat out some current starters.  When’s he hot, he is a legit starting qb.  Unfortunately this doesn’t last long but there’s a reason he stays employed.

I don't think so, considering that he said it rubbing his hands and in an Austin Powers voice.

By the sound of it, most Miami fans feel like they never were going to start Rosen regardless.

They really just took a low risk flyer on him.  They took their original 2nd rounder, packaged it & traded it down & got a 2020 2nd rounder and then sent the lower 2nd round pick to Arizona.  Very low risk considering their original 2nd helped get them an additional 2nd in the next draft.

I thought it was pretty weird that he was petting a hairless cat during the interview

People take these things out of context way too much. You really have to watch them.

Fitz ends up winning the job for every team that he goes to. And all people do is act like he sucks. He doesn’t. He has zero physical ability and like a superhero level of heart and intangibles.
