Nope.  He was an entertaining press conference at least?  For those who hate McD's coach speak.

Better to remain quiet and thought a fool...…...than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

This is a very strange point to make.

Bush was productive everywhere else he went (he stopped for a cup of coffee in SF).  The Bills ran him 12 (twelve) times all season.

And why would this matter anyway?  Anyone on that team could make a simple observation.

If you "don't like reading stories like this"...close your eyes.

If you gave a guy the ball 12 times and he lost 3 yards would you give it to him a 13th time? He should be thanking Rex, Fhaley, and the Pegulas for being foolish enough to sign him at that stage.

McCoy should be prepared to do the same if the Bills keep him around this year.

Rex was horrible, the players didn’t buy in, everyone knows it was a clown show. Bush got paid for doing nothing, no need to trash on a “coach” who already destroyed his own career. Rex’s failures somehow justify Bush’s “performance”

If the Bills ended up going 2-14 and firing McD I wouldn’t have wanted to hear and I told you so from Vontae Davis either.

Yeah, there really should have been more accountability.

For starters, they should have released anyone on the team with NEGATIVE yardage on the SEASON.

Reggie got paid $1 Million to go BACKWARDS 3 yards!

$333,333 for each -1 yard.

Hey Reggie - RB stands for "Running Back," not "Run Backwards."

I don’t think this criticism is fair. He had like 12 rushing attempts the WHOLE season. He was more used as a blocking back or on third down. In reality, it was Shadys backfield.

Yea the negative yard thing is bad but it doesn’t tell the whole story.

Rex ran a country club and put in minimal effort. He thought he could just give the players some inspiring speech on Sunday and they would go out and win.

He was the last one in the building every day and the first to leave. He delegated much of his responsibility as a head coach.

He was a disaster in NY, too. They’re still trying to recover.

But with a truck like that, he HAD to be the answer! Hope springs eternal.

Rex just didn't want to work - he convinced the Pegulas to let him hire the biggest coaching staff in the league so that he wouldn't have to do the grinding himself.  Should've been obvious at that point.

Someone in the media had the best quote with Rex that was along the lines of he loved being a head coach and the glitz and glamour that can come with it, but the work, collaboration, creativity, and grind needed across the board to be successful was never apart of his DNA.

Ya Rex was a horrible coach. I think his coaching days are done. Even DC has to teach the players. Rex loved the spotlight and other things but didn't wanna work, grind, build, discipline or lead a team. Sure can talk but working helping the team progress, build a culture he is bad at as well. Plus his horrible schemes only takes smart players and didn't wanna teach it.
