When you dont show up for game preperation and youre in the hospital, along with terrible play most of last year expecially in the playoffs your probably gonna lose your job.

Dude was benched in week 2 last year. Rowe got hurt in that game and he was put back on the field

Incorrect, what happened in buffalo holds no bearing on the game at gillette pats win and cover

He stated no opinion; it can't be "incorrect".

Also, based on NE's play as of late, I can see why you're so confident

That and blitz him relentlessly, knock him down a few times and get a bit panic into him.

He reads the pressure is coming and audibles for a quick toss that picks up 12 easy yards

And if the pressure is working they will run the ball 30 times in a row as they did in the playoffs recently

Updating this:

NE is 7-0 when they rush for over 100 yards

NE is 2-5 when they rush for less than 100 yards.  The two losses? The game where they rushed for 97 yards against the Colts, and the game in which they got to face Derek Anderson--a game that would've been lost to any team with a competent QB.

Stop the run, and you stop NE.

God I hate this metric, team X wins 90% of the time when they run for over x number of yards....duh. There is a cause and effect relationship.  If you are winning you run more, if you are behind you pas more.

That's why it's important to watch games, because you'd see how run-oriented their offense had become

Well that is true, Belichek drafted for the run, he knows tommie is near the end, apparently Kraft/Brady forced the Garrappolo move so Belichek decided to go for the run, maybe even vindictively hurt Brady's career ending. Belciehk let go  LT Nate Solder in the prime of his carerr and  drafts a RB rd #1

Solder is not in his prime and is proving be over paid in NY. He was NOT worth that kind of money. That was a typical BB move.

second as I mentioned elsewhere it’s being reported that they suspect Brady has a tear in his MCL why the last three weeks he has been jittery and even less mobile for him.

also the reports that Kraft forced the Jimmy G trade has pretty much been debunked as Jimmy’s G refused sign any sort of extension.. even one giving him 20 mill per year for 2 years. He wanted start period.  Thus making the trade happen, as the 49ers said when they asked about Brady BB scoffed and said “did you really just ask me if I’d trade you the greatest QB of all time?” So he had no plans trade Brady. What his plan was sign Jimmy’s G to a 2 year deal and have him start next year in a prove it year for him for a bigger contract. Again a typical BB move.. it just didn’t work out that way.. and no way in hell they were going tonfranchise him 2 years in a row.

Yes, their entire offseason approach involved transitioning to a run-first offense:

Let go of Solder--a pass pro specialist--to add Trent Brown; primarily a run blocker

Trade Brandin Cooks and let Amendola walk in FA

Draft a guard with their highest pick

Draft a RB with their other 1st rounder

Sign Jeremy Hill

So what are the PAts going to do, move up in the draft and get their top rated QB this year for Brady's replacement?  What do you think the odds are Brady is back next year, and for that matter how long does Belichek have?

If a 41 year old Brady can take this team - no Gordon, no D, a broken down Gronk - to the Super Bowl, then there will no longer be any doubt whatsoever:  clearly, he has a deal with the devil.

Wonder if it went down something like this?

Woohooooooo!

And those dummies traded Jimmy G last year for only a 2nd, and now have no viable QB on the roster to take over.

Now they HAVE to keep Tom around at least another year while they try & draft his replacement.

My brother-in-law refuses to talk football with me.  So, ticked off they did not trade up for Josh Allen.  I say this game goes for a New England loss; said it before and I’ll say it again.

Bills 28

New England 0

Always love how New England fans troll on boards.  It’s basically like defending cheating and not wanting to admit they are trolling.

100% Brady is back next year especially if he has an injury causing this issue. He will come back with a chip on his shoulder and light it up yet again..  (or prove Father Time caught him)

My guess (and with BB that’s all any of us can do) if he likes a QB he will move up.. I doubt this I suspect he will draft an edge rusher and a LB in the early rounds and have Brady go back (if Father Time finally catching up) to a game manager via 2001.  Which means a heavy running game and relying on a solid D to keep the team winning.

how long does BB have? I have a. Weird feeling he will stay till he can become President of football ops only and hire his son to replace him.

Your brother in law doesn’t know BB GM Style well does he? If Mayfield has fallen they would have traded up. The Pats wanted Mayfield.. they had ZERO interest in Allen.

Yup, Belicheat is such a great manager I love Cheatriots trolls you guys have no spine to even stand up.  Where is Wynn again how did that work out for Brady’s protection?

Why do New England fans register on here to troll us?  If that’s a rise for their lives it sounds rather sad and pathetic.  Just saying I don’t troll New England boards all day.

Interesting.  All the better; now we get to watch the Pats decline with BB and Brady.  Next year will be another tough one for them.  Watch the Pats get the 4th seed in the playoffs this year.  They're not going to KC, Pitt, or LA and winning.

Is there any light on what happened/when the MCL tear could've occurred? Also, haven't looked into it at all, but wouldn't this be a violation of league rules if the Pats don't list him on their injury report (provided they know about MCL)? At last check, Brady is not on the report at all. Just wondering aloud

Well if it’s a troll tell you BB is one of the greatest HC in NFL history then I guess to you I’m a troll.  FYI most people think of him that way.

hmm Brady is one of the least sacked QBs in the NFL I’m going to say it’s going pretty well..

third you have an infiriority complex complex or something I’ve been here for years.  He knif you look at my post I’m usually more positive on the Bills tha a lot of bills fans.. but I guess that’s trolling again sigh

Brady only appears on the list when in fact he is NOT hurt at all.

And your point about violating league rules is an excellent one.

Dude you are not really a Patriots fan.  You just live in New Hanpshire and are scared to be a Bills fan.  I live in Maine and lots of folks here are not just Pats fans.  We got folks who remember when their were only two to root for Bills and Giants who have stayed loyal to their respective fan bases.  Come on take the plunge BillsFanNH.

I'm reading this and hating myself for feeling like I'm going to miss Brady. It's not that I want to see them go out on top, but he's been such a fixture that the NFL just won't be the same without him. It's certainly not that I feel bad for him personally as he's got the world by the balls. Just a weird feeling I find myself with.

I do believe this is the last season the Pats have a chance to win anything and that's a stretch. It's over.

They think it happened in the Minnesota game.. but all speculation by “unnamed” sources.. so take it for what it’s worth.  Who knows I wouldn’t be shocked if he didnsupposedly it’s the same kneee he had the ACL tear in in 08

Brady 'Not Getting into Specifics' on Knee Injury

The New England Patriots' passing offense had its worst day in years.

Tom Brady threw for a paltry 126 passing yards as the Patriots leaned on the ground game to gallop over the Buffalo Bills. New England rushed for 273 yards on 47 combined attempts.

The passing game, however, seems a concern. Brady's 126 pass yards Sunday were fewest pass yards in a game since Week 17, 2014 versus Buffalo, when TB12 played just one half and attempted only 16 passes. Brady completed just 54.2 percent of his 24 pass attempts, marking the third time this season he's been below the 55 percent completion mark.

After the 24-12 victory, coach Bill Belichick noted that the passing game could have been better, but mostly shrugged at making an assertion about the offense.

"Well, I think overall, our passing game will be better, could be better, but we ran the ball well and that offset it," he said. "Some days it's the running game, some days it's the passing game. We'll see what happens next week, but I have a lot of confidence in our quarterback, our receivers, our offensive line, our protection. When we need to throw, hopefully we'll be able to throw if we have to. If we need to run it, hopefully we'll be able to run."

On Monday morning, in his weekly hit on WEEI Radio, Brady added "There were certainly some plays we could have executed better," via NFL Network's Mike Giardi.

Part of the issue for the Patriots pass attack is the dwindling receiving corps. With Josh Gordon suspended and Rob Gronkowski playing with a piano on his back, the Pats have few receivers who can get open.

Anyone still want to tell me that the Pats aren't a run-first team?

Stop the run, stop NE

I thought it was put pressure on him

Oh wait, now stop the run

how about the Pats come out and jab the first two series and see what will work and then adjust on the spot to exploit it?

Brady is not the same guy.  Missed guys wide open, felt pressure quickly. Imo NE doeant have the defense to win in the playoffs.

I agree, but you’d never know it by watching the idiots on NFLN. They’re talking up the Pats *upcoming run in the playoffs, showing clips of their exploits vs the mighty Bills. Don’t you know, the Patsies are back? See, they clobbered the Bills ! The bozos then proceeded to downplay every other AFC team , forgetting to mention that NE had lost two in a row going into the get-well contest against their AFCE chumps. It’s tough being an NFL fan trying to watch NFLN. It’s all Patriots all the time over there. Don’t they realize there will be 11 other teams in the tournament ?
