  1. I became much more comfortable with the contract when the details were released. If he balls out, great. If he doesn't work out, cut bait. I like it. Didn't like the 3 year commitment.
  2. I read a blurb about not grading out well and his advanced metrics not looking great. Also thought he played 8 games in 2018.
  3. Same kind of deal they gave Murphy if that is true. Much easier to get on board with the move if there is indeed an easy out.
  4. I understand how free agency works. The regime clearly believes Kroft is better than the 661 receiving yards he's amassed. I just don't see much upside, but time will tell. It's the combination of player/money I have a problem with. Morse, Johnson, Gore. Fully on board.
  5. Gotcha. Just seemed like an odd comparison. All good.
  6. Same. What the Bills need is a pass rusher. Barr is a nice player, but not a good fit for Buffalo as the roster is currently structured. Jason Taylor was a BIGTIME pass rusher. No comparison.
  7. He's the 13th highest paid TE and he has a whopping 661 career receiving yards. I'm sure Beane sees some upside, but this looks like a huge overpay on the surface. I like the other signings. That one, not so much.
  8. I won't be satisfied until we sign Christian Okeye.
  9. Yes. Many teams are in cap trouble every single year. They could have kept everyone except for Gilmore. It was their decision to gut the roster. Now is the time for them to step up to the table, get their guys, and start winning.
  10. This. The Long/Teller battle will look so much better if we sign a bonafide starting guard.
  11. I'd have no problem signing Williams to a relatively big deal in the 4 year/50 mil range. We have GOT to get better at receiver and quickly. There are no guarantees in the draft and Williams is the best available receiver.
  12. I like this signing because I prefer a center who excels in pass pro. Didn't realize he was a converted tackle, so that explains his area of strength. Very athletic as well so he'll be able to pull with ease. They will need to get STRONGER at guard if we're going to run the ball more effectively.
  13. And NOW we're talking. I preferred him over Paradis.
  14. Chiefs. I mean, that's 4 in the last 2 years. I like Beane, but this is his time to shine. He has got to start making things happen or your prediction may not come to fruition. Let's get Morse! Cap space is entirely overrated. The good teams just fidget with contracts to make it work.
  15. If we're being honest here, the Colts have far fewer needs than the Bills. It's time to get moving.
  16. I understand the rationale behind acquiring a multitude of players on value deals, but this ain't that. Not impressed. They need to get a premiere lineman ASAP.
  17. Prediction; Foles will once again be Nick Foles without Pederson's offensive scheme. The money is not absurd for a starting QB, but I think the Jags will regret not going in a different direction.
  18. Gotcha. I'm not saying the sky is falling. Just stating the obvious about TODAY. Beane has time to maneuver, but I'd like to see some things get done sooner rather than later. Lots of good players remaining who we're not hearing about.
  19. I don't think anyone is laughing at the Bills for signing Gore. There is some legitimacy to the mockery when we're sitting on 80 mil in cap space and he's the marquee signing. I'll let this whole thing play out, but TODAY has not been productive.
  20. Why sign Humphries when Renfrow and Isabella are available in the draft?
  21. Allen wasn't any better as a passer my friend. I like Allen quite a bit more and LJ had better weapons, but let's not get carried away with the LJ hate. He's not the Bills QB so I don't really care.
