So an old white guy thinks he's the best candidate for the Dems?

Donald Trump changed the game in 2016, and if the Dems really March this idiot out there for 2020 it shows that they didnt get the memo.

Forever.  Soon a session of Congress will be like The Jerry Springer show.  It's not that far off now.

I don't care about how old they are or the color of their skin.  Give me somebody who has a platform worth voting for.

Imagine C-SPAN's ratings if they ring the bell and a fight breaks out on the floor of the House!

I saw an interview with Terry McAuliffe. He said 50 50 he runs. He said they need an optimistic positive message of optimism to win as opposed to "I'm not Trump". He has a good record as governor of VA in regards to employment and marketable skills training, or so he says.

i always considered him a goober. But now I'm intrigued because that's exactly what I think.

you don't want to get down in the mud to fight a pig cuz you're gonna get muddy. And, the pig likes it.

I remember what happened to Rubio when he got out his cell phone and tried to out Trump Trump.

A Dem moderate that is some flavor of Biden would give Trump a problem in the general election.

But those people won't survive the D and R primaries.

Biden running would mess up the fund-raising for a lot of other candidates.

The situation would have to be pretty dire for Hillary not to want to run for POTUS.  Her ego CRAVES it!  I've seen it on a much smaller level locally.  Some people are wired such as they have to be the boss.  No other scenario will do for them.

Warren saw huge turn out in Iowa, as the energy is still there on the left. The ten point win in popular support the blue wave of 2018 saw should be going strong in 2020. We have less than two years of Trump remaining. ?

Dream on. Six more years of Daddy Trump!

Meh.  It's January in Iowa.  Not much to do there right now.   Unless you really hate Warren to the point that you refuse to attend a rally a person in a "crowd" does not prove much.  I watched the dingbat from Queens on 60 Minutes last night but that sure as heck does not make me a supporter.  Just keeping an eye on the competition so to speak.  But anyways you keep telling Soros to spike the coffee with whatever makes you think that the Republicans are going away for good.

D's already look like fools and incompetent for losing to Donald once.  I'm not so sure they can clean up their act in the next year and 10 months or not.

So far at least, they seem to be doubling down on the same strategy they lost with last time.

i agree.  However he is the only D possible candidate I've heard that doesn't want to get down in the mud and wrestle with the pig.  It's early.

Well, they're certainly not running Snuffelupagus, or Gonzo, or Ocasio-Cortez, or Miss Piggy (not after finding that email server in her bathroom)...

...actually, Gonzo might have a chance.

Gonzo? Seriously? After what happened 28 years ago in that unspecified date, time and place?

So................for the past month or more, Dem 'leaders have been strongly suggesting that Bernie should not run in 2020

He has not taken that hint.

So now, as D.R.'s post mentions above...............we get this.

If it doesn't disqualify Kamala Harris from running, it shouldn't disqualify Bernie.

Oh yeah.  They're terrified of him.  There was some thing with the FBI and his wife too.

The frustrating part about Bernie is I think his non nonsense/pure substance style is what it would take to beat Truimp.  I thought he was the most authentic candidate in 2016.  However, his views are just too damn radical.

Bernie may  have won, as scary as that is.
