It's that this team was a circus the first two weeks with the benchings, and the Davis retirement, and former players taking shots in the media. McD clearly got these guys unified and ready to play. This is a statement against one of the better defenses in the league. Buffalo isn't going to fold, and McD isn't going anywhere. Team's defense literally went 180 halftime during the chargers game after McD basically benched leslie and took over the defensive playcalling. (His press conference just ended. Never mentioned once needing to watch the game film in order to comment on the Bills play.....apparently, he sees the game a lot better when the Bills win.) I suspect that Frazier was a little worried about the secondary being vulnerable with the weakness at the one CB spot. Maybe they saw evidence last week that their depth CBs arent' so bad after all. Pitts held up OK last week, and I think Ryan Lewis today was fine.. Knowing they can play means Frazier/McDermott can dial up a little exotic pressure.
