Headed to the stadium today.  As I’m packing the car my brother in law and I are discussing the Bills Wall Of Fame. I was shocked to see some of the names who are on the Wall and some who are not.  Don’t get me wrong some of the guys were very good (Hansen, Smerlas) and other excellent players IMO were snubbed (, Cornelius Bennett, Fred Jackson).

See IMO, this Wall should be reserved for the best of the best.  The greatest players in franchise history.  Not just very good players...the best of the best.

So this will be fun.... let’s see which player deserves to be on the Wall Of Fame next?

I've always had this feeling that if we put Scott Norwood on the WOF that the curse would be lifted.

Yeah but he doesn’t deserve to be on the wall

before a kicker like Steve Christie or even Rian Lindell who made bigger kicks in many more situations

Christie would have made that kick blindfolded

Yep...noted and fixed.  Ironic thing is this - Why is Talley up there when a guy like Cornelius Bennett had a much stronger career and is nowhere to be found?

He was my favorite player during the super bowl years. But Bennett had some trouble off the field. Some of the stories are pretty crazy. Maybe that is stopping him from getting on the wall.

Butch Byrd

Bennett

Brown

So Leon Seals is an option but Butch Byrd isn’t???

Honestly he was way before my time.  The Byrd I’m more familiar with is Jairius and maybe Gil from Techmo Supet Bowl.

I looked up Butch’s stats though and they are pretty exceptional especially for his era.  Seems like he should be a contender for the honor.  If they are looking for “a moment” at the stadium, I think the Super Bowl era players and post-SB era would get the largest ovation.

...where's Kelsay?..........

Not here.  Prime example of a very average player who was not deserving

Glancing down the OP's list I would say Biscuit and Freddy would both make excellent candidates.

It seems like Biscuit has had poor relations with the organization since his retirement.  You never see him or hear of him, despite being one of the bigger stars in franchise history.

Ok so I hate bringing this up, but it’s relevant to the discussion.  It makes me wonder if his pleading guility to a sexual abuse case in Buffalo back in 1997, night have something to do with it.  I can see, especially the current regime with a female owner, a little hesitant to celebrate someone who pleaded guilty to a pretty shocking crime right on their backyard.  Pure speculation, but just wondering
