Here I've started a thread for the 30% of delusional fans who think starting Peterman was the right decision and doubled down that McDermott was wrong to name Taylor the starter vs. KC.

I implore you to post here and you can commiserate.

I and and all others are not going to post here, but have a single thread to read and get a good laugh at.......

Starting Peterman in LA was a mistake. I actually buy Coach's reasoning for now sitting him. He needs to gear down and start getting his head right. I wouldn't want to see him again until we are eliminated and against weaker competition.

Which'll be in two weeks. The eliminated part, that is.

I'll say it again.  If McD came out this morning and said Peterman was starting at KC he deserved to be Fired on the spot.  Coaching career suicide.

So anyway, have at it Peterman fans.  I do hope the guy can dust it off and compete in 2018 training camp.

Hooray for mediocrity and conformist thinking.

I dont think it would have been coaching career suicide if we were not math still eligible for the playoffs.   I think people would say time to evaluate for next year.

But....that is not our scenario....we could beat the chiefs and be right back in it.

Yes, because posting and commiserating IN THE THREAD THAT ALREADY EXISTS ON THIS TOPIC would be pretty stupid, now, wouldn't it.

And peterman will give you a better record??

No.

AND THAT'S THE POINT.

I don't want 7-9.

I'm SICK of 7-9. If you're not making they playoffs, you have to be as bad as possible.

And believe me or not, this team even with Tyrod Taylor under center, is NOT making the playoffs.

Understand now?

There goes wayyyyy more into besides finishing 7-9.

How is Mcd supposed to sell that to the locker room if he starts Peterman?

Do you actually think players on the Bills now and potential players in the future would want to play for a guy who threw in the towel during a playoff run?...Yes they aren't going to make the playoffs but that's not the point here.

Tanking on purpose is a cardinal sin in the NFL. Mcd was smart enough to figure that out

Except when it's not and you end up with a Goff, Wentz, or Luck.

But hey, whatever. Conventional thinking's what had us mired in mediocre hell for the past two decades.

Tanking worked so well for the Pegulas other team..........

It did what it was supposed to. Got them Eichel. It's just they haven't followed that up. But I'm sure you knew that.

Those teams never tanked on purpose to get those QBS.

Rams were a dumpster fire, Eagles traded up, and Colts got Luck because Manning got hurt and that team was just brutal.

Losing games vs tanking on purpose is apples and oranges.

I for one don't even care if the Bills lose the rest of their games because to your point it would get them a higher pick.

But as a coach, you cannot do that to your locker room. You just can't. Unless you want to lose respect from every single player

Well let's hope they DO lose the rest. I think 5-11 could get us into the top 8, which would make life a WHOLE lot easier for the front office.
