So apparently slicked-back hair is a topic worthy of conversation.

The responses to this tweet are bat ***** crazy.  It has all of the usual wack-jobs favorite topics: religion, President Trump, and Trump's hair.  The insanity is strong in the TDSers.

Her apology, another "but it could have been him" defense:

She does seem nice though:

I think that line is from a song she sang:

From a distance

You look like my friend,

even though we are at war.

From a distance,

I cannot comp-re-hend

why you would slam your dick

in a door.

Can't wait to hear the protests from the Left about POTUS Donald J. Trump's spoken words today in Portsmouth, UK.

He mentioned God, Our Religion, Crusade, and asked for a blessing on the troops who would die.

I can sense the upwelling of righteous outrage building to a crescendo. How dare he! Disgraceful!

He didn't mention our LGBTXYZ community even once!

IMPEACH!

SOFIA CARBONE:

You couldn’t find a better female icon than First Lady Melania Trump: an immigrant who came to America to flee communism and in pursuit of the American dream. She is beautiful, classy, educated, and fluent in six languages.

So why do feminists detest her?

Feminists, like leftists in general, detest anything and anyone they don’t control.

I'm thinking (hoping) Nanker knew that.

I haven't heard any complaints from the media about him doing the religious and praying thing yet, but was hoping we would, so it could be pointed out it was from one of their historic heroes.  It was masterful baiting and trolling by Trump. :)

Goldberg should provide more detail on his graph to clarify his case.    Anyone who's used Lexis/Nexis knows that duplication of stories is a major pain when running their search.  Showing the sheer number of times a particular word appears likely overstates its usage because it probably appears in one story that's been syndicated 100 times.  This is obviously the result of news outlets relying on outsourced and syndicated content.

So, while the trendline of these terms is definitely on the uptick, the slope of the line is very likely exaggerated.

Here’s the thing. I think it’s safe to say that we all express our opinions here more than most celebrities. The issue is no one knows who we are so the media doesn’t quote every inane comment  we make. So celebrities are not all to blame for that.

I can’t believe I just said that.  ?

Can’t find it ‘cause I’m on my thumb Typer (phone). But I made a post about it previously. Just my sarcasm servo motor kicking in. 3rdand looooooong and I go way back. Just busting with him.

The jist of it was the American media would probably excoriate him for daring to mention those old fashioned and discredited concepts all the while not knowing what the context was, yet alone who the author was. Of course then, once they got “woke” they’d try to nail him for “plagiarism.”

Wait...I had you pegged as Chef Jim...Carey. You know, the Mask guy. Ace from Ventura.  Your name is Jim, you mentioned you live in Cali, and you have that cool split personality Chef artwork in your profile?  If you're just some guy named Jim, why am I following you? I mean, why wouldn't I care about what some multi-millionaire unstable comedian accused of giving his gf an std and driving her to suicide has to say?

So is this conspiracy to deprive people of civil rights under the civil rights laws? Or is it a conspiracy in restraint of trade — since the people targeted are often journalistic/pundit competitors — under the antitrust laws?

Why not both?

Yeah, it's like D-Day <_<

Well, by extension, the #Resistance should be willing to lay down their lives to remove Trump, just as soldiers did on D-Day against Nazis.

This is a not-entirely-subtle call for revolution.

The ultimate sacrifice to this CNN phoney is to whine and moan even more about Trump?

90 percent of his audience is conservatives looking for a laugh and opening footage for Gutfeld’s show

Not really because most people consume news that fit their political viewpoint anyways.  Even just how they interpret this tweet.  Trumpists read this tweet and agree that any media source that paints Trump in a negative light is fake news.  Anti Trump people read this tweet and think he's calling it fake news because he's embarrassed about what they believe to be accurate reporting.  Since there's a little bit of proof in both it just feeds their preconceived views.

FEEL GOOD STORY OF THE DAY

Top Progressive ThinkProgress Site Bleeding Cash and People

ThinkProgress, the website that is a project of the Democratic Party’s primary think tank, is facing dire financial troubles and bleeding staff, according to primary-source documents viewed by The Daily Beast.

A budget document provided to ThinkProgress management and obtained by The Daily Beast showed that the website was expecting a roughly $3 million gulf between revenue and expenses for 2019. ThinkProgress has never been a revenue generator, and has often made up for its deficits through fundraising efforts and funds from its mothership entity, the Center for American Progress (CAP). But the current outlook is significantly worse than ever before. . .

In the face of these falling revenue streams, ThinkProgress has seen payroll drop by 12 percent from its peak level in 2019 and “salary growth” by 5 percent, according to the document. . .

The numbers paint a grim picture for one of the better-known, unapologetically progressive media platforms. And it has been exacerbated by what a source described as a failure of leadership at CAP to provide answers about “the short- and long-term future of the site.”

The site seemed poised for a boom during the Trump years, when content for a liberal-minded outlet appeared bountiful. Instead, the road has been rocky. . .

I dunno, maybe part of the problem is that fewer people are reading what they’re offering? I’m sure President Sanders or President Warren will come through with subsidies.

P.S. This tidbit in the story is curious:

When a number of fairly large donations came into CAP following the 2016 election, ThinkProgress staffed up, ballooning its ranks to 40 people at one point, a source familiar with internal operations said. But those were one-time donations and as traffic declined—in part, several sources say, because of changes to Facebook’s algorithm—and revenue fell, there was not enough money to sustain the higher payroll.
