Sir, that’s just crossing the line. That’s below the belt.

I think he was. I’m not trolling. Just telling you what I believe. Don’t like it — that’s fine.

Since your head is up your ass I had to go there to reach you.

How very Muslim of you ? .

From his prior statements he's spent a good deal of time with them. Maybe he's suffering from the Bergdahl Syndrome?

As Twitchy told you yesterday, former President Obama launched his midterm campaigning on behalf of Democrats with a speech that was bereft of self-awareness.

The Babylon Bee has one of the best summaries of Obama’s speech:

That's sarcasm, right?

No, no it isn't. It's consistent with prior statements.

It is a large part of why I cannot decide if he's just a dedicated troll or simply misguided. His posts are 40% somewhat reasoned (even if I disagree with his reasoning) and 60% straight up. ?

I'm fairly certain it's a reincarnation of NDBUFFCUSEFAN. Too many similarities at this point.

No, I'm not seeing the difference.

Can you give me another example?

Sure, when I say women can’t drive it’s because they drive the speed limit in the turning lane...but I fully support their right to drive, I just wish they didn’t suck at it. That’s my “American” response.

Now a muslim Would make it against the law and institute punishments of which might be rape for any woman who drives. Now do you understand? I think women are just inept....but I don’t think they should be raped or murdered for being so. There’s the difference.

I'm not sure I get it yet. Seems to me like you're saying that the only difference between you and a Muslim (with regards to women) is the level of punishment for doing something that they are inferior at -- just by virtue of their gender.

Maybe you can come up with a better example, yes?

I disagree on that. I agree with Colin Powell when he stated that there’s a dark vein of intolerance in the GOP.

Also, as a conservative I must say we do a crap job of reaching out to blacks.

And the TEA party was nothing more than a club for village idiots. And their rallying cry was racism and they veiled it by saying they were concerned about the socialist in the White House. If obama was a socialist he wasn’t a successful one.

I went to 2 TEA Party gatherings several years ago.  Attendees were business owners and a lot of white and blue collar people and not all male and not all white.  Fairly diverse in professions and backgrounds really.  A couple local politicians also.  The overwhelming priorities were government fiscal responsibility, border security and illegal immigration enforcement, personal responsibility, gun rights, health insurance reform (after Obamacare) and strong American foreign policy (not war necessarily).  Frankly I've never been with a group before or since that had their political priorities in better order.  If somehow that agenda could have been carried out in Washington the last 10 years, we'd be much better for it as a nation.

As for the local politicians that were there, they were certainly Republicans and it's refreshing when the local pols actually get it and have some common sense.  It's those that get to Washington that are all !@#$ed up.  Apparently it's tough to get elected at the Federal level with common sense and a good set of priorities or if someone has that, it all goes out the window in the name of the party once they get to Washington.

What the media and the left did to the TEA party is just shameful, but they're good at destroying a brand.

Back to Barack:

BARACK TO THE RESCUE: Republican voters just found their motivation to vote in November.

Obama-U-Illinois-Speech-e1536351180879.j This may be the moment when the rise of the big blue wave began to slow

By almost every measure, Democrats have the enthusiasm heading towards November.

While Republicans won most of the congressional special elections, Democrats outperformed relative to 2016 in those districts.

The energy, fed by Trump Derangement Syndrome, makes it possible, perhaps likely, Democrats will take back the House.

There didn’t seem to be anything that could make Republicans and Independents willing to vote Republican, get out of their slumber.

In his speech at U. Illinois, Obama was Obama, arrogant and dismissive, even derisive towards Trump and Republicans. USA Today reports:

Previewing his midterm elections campaign message, former President Barack Obama on Friday launched a direct and blistering attack on President Donald Trump and Republicans, and called on Americans to get to the ballot box in November to “restore some semblance of sanity to our politics.”

At one point referencing the “crazy stuff that’s coming out of this White House,” Obama told students and others gathered at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that even if they don’t agree with Democrats on certain issues, they should still be “concerned with our current course” and want to see a “restoration of honesty and decency and lawfulness in government.” …

Obama’s scathing attack on Trump comes during a tumultuous week for the White House and represents a departure for Obama, who has kept a low profile since leaving office. He has typically avoided even mentioning Trump by name in previous speeches.

Quote

Democrats lost 76 House seats and 15 Senate seats during Obama‘s terms. Now the former president is determined they never get them back!

I agree with a lot of what you said.

I get frustrated when people say ‘conservatives are racists.’ I get equally frustrated when conservatives pretend none are. I believe in fixing weaknesses and conservatives could work on that.

I was recruiting for the Army in the sticks just north of Houston during this time period. One thing I had to do my first year was cold calls. I’d call Johnny to see if he wanted to do man things after high school. I can’t tell you how many times a parent said their child would not be in the military under Obama. Sometimes they’d substitute “Obama” with “N*****.” It wasn’t a daily occurance, but it was often enough.

Further, I’m a white southerner. The vast majority of us are conservative. There are a ton of racists. I won’t pretend there aren’t, nor will I let it be swept under the rug.

I do not believe the TEA party would have had its turnout without Obama being black.

I believe eve there were many good people in the TEA party who were as you say.

There are MANY good liberals out there. Many. There are also plenty of welfare abusing scumbags. Due to the nature of my business I see these savages on the daily.

The conservative side is the same though. And there’s an issue when you’ve got Nazis on your hands like we currently do. These white power marches and what have you — this is the Palin/Trump side of the GOP.

And id like to have a meeting right now on fiscal responsibility from the government because I’m not seeing it. I’m not seeing a balanced budget amendment. I’m not seeing solutions on the obscene debt — but I have been assured America is great again recently...

Bro, anything that traces it’s roots back to Sarah Palin can’t be good.

Shes as embarassing to conservatives as Maxine Waters should be to democrats.

The Tea Parties' roots go back to 2004 and really took off in 2009. Sarah Palin was good at rallies.

I still  ❤️ Sarah Palin. What was done to her by the McCain camp and the RNC was absolutely criminal.  I get the MSM and Obama minions decending on her home and digging through her trash cans for er, dirt. I get all the ethics complaints (dismissed) by people trying to bankrupt her and her family (thank goodness that law was changed shortly after she left office). But the McCain camp and RNC lack of support, and in many cases outright sabotage? Disgusting.

The Thrill Is Gone: Only 750 Turn Out to See Former President Obama in California

Liberal Think Progress reported over the weekend about former President Obama’s event in Anaheim, California –

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA — Former President Obama made his first campaign stop of the midterm elections in Orange County, California Saturday to stump for seven Democratic House candidates running in districts currently held by Republicans but that Hillary Clinton won in 2016.

About 750 people attended the event at Anaheim Convention Center, where Obama delivered a short speech centered on unity and the “politics of hope.” And, after a story about getting kicked out of Disneyland when he was caught smoking in the Magic Kingdom after a concert as a teenager, Obama issued an impassioned critique of Trump and the state of American democracy and encouraged the crowd to back the candidates he came to support.

Fortunately for him, he doesn't need a crowd........................just a mirror.

How can Obama blame Americans for being cynical after repeating dozens of times his false promise that “If you like your doctor, you’ll be able to keep your doctor,” despite the dozens of mandates in Obamacare? How can he blame Americans for being cynical after his 2015 assertion that “it is easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than get his hands on a computer or even a book”? How can he castigate cynics after he campaigned in 2008 on a peace platform and then proceeded to bomb seven nations? How can he complain about distrust after he flip-flopped on illegal surveillance and unleashed the National Security Administration to target anyone “searching the web for suspicious stuff”?

Defend it, leftists. Give it your best shot.

We'll wait.
