Maury Ballstein
Your like a young kid so easily entertained. Good for you.Funny stuff makes me laugh. Getting rid of leo will help us get rid of this culture of losing. Just like freds leadership was good for 10 more wins. Lol indeed. Any age group can find hilarity on here. DrDawkinstein
Seems like a decent way to clear some cap space and add depth to the Safety position. He shouldn't start, but DBs get injured. He'd be a good asset as a 2nd or 3rd stringer if he's willing to accept that pay.

Bingo He can always fill in later on at CB if we truly needed him and at this point FS / backup CB at a cheaper rate makes more sense
Czaper
He is slowing down. Never could think out there, made so many foolish mistakes. I shutter when he is on the field. Goodbye

The people in his back for 1 bad game this year forget that he is basically a third string CB. You are not going to get elite production from a 3rd stringer. But having him as a backup safety/corner with the ability to play dime seems like a good move.
papazoid
actually, depending on the pay cut, this might not be a bad option..... still has the speed .....can't remember which game but he clearly was the only one who chased down a reciever from behind. Maddog69
In the article Dunn says "Every time someone leaves this locker room, that player seems to have success" I hear people say this a lot, it just isn't true. Besides Marshawn Lynch, who has left here in the last 10 years and had success? Levitre and Byrd both suck. Stevie has done nothing since leaving. Lil' Donte has bounced around and done nothing. Kiko sucks Fitz has bounced around and is having his best season this year. But people make it sound like every guy who leaves Buffalo turns into a star. Fixxxer
I have to say it's really tempting, I want him gone, but it's not easy to find good safety play in this league.

thebandit27
If he takes a pay cut I'd keep him in a heartbeat A solid backup boundary corner that can play the slot in a pinch and help out at safety I don't want him as a starter though

I'd say the opposite is true, at least recently.
Big C
Leo has made some great plays this year thinking of that time he sniffed out the screen and the INT where he wrestled the ball out of the receiver's hand. The latter was especially huge given the game, score and field position. Leo doesn't play like a loser.
Miyagi-Do Karate
How about from a veteran first round draft pick? Well, we all know mckelvin. He has never lived up to his billing as a 1st rounder.
Matt in KC
I don't know. I have always though McKelvin has all of the physical skill needed, but poor instincts. I think safety is a position where good instincts are essential. I would love to have him as a backup. In the article Dunn says "Every time someone leaves this locker room, that player seems to have success" I hear people say this a lot, it just isn't true. I really didn't like the guy, but he played better after he left.
midland
I'm not sure he would be a very good safety. I would almost rather draft or pick up a true safety over trying to teach or see if he can play safety.
QB Bills
Too many people on this board are under the assumption that a crappy CB can be salvaged by moving him to Safety. Maybe because it worked with AW, I guess? But they are two different positions. Good Safeties are not CBs with lesser skill.
Uncle Joe
(Why is it he seemed much better last year...what has changed? Hmmm) His ankle...oh and Rex.
boyst
A good attitude is important; after what happened with Mario, I think they overreach on the positive vibes.
Johnny Hammersticks
I love him for safety depth at the right price, just as long as he never, ever fields a punt again. I still think Buffalo goes safety in round 1 or 2...especially given the uncertainty surrounding AW.
