Rubes
Worst play call in the history of the Suoer Bowl. Â I'm not one for hyperbole, but I'm going on record as saying that was the worst play call in NFL history, given the location, timing, and importance. Kelly the Dog
Somewhere, Doug Marrone and Nate Hackett are sitting around saying to themselves, "What? The Patriots were expecting the run. Brilliant call. The players didn't execute."
NoSaint
How in the world do you not run?! I think 100 out of 100 people expecting it was the concern. I won't by any stretch say the pass was the right call but I think it's slightly less crazy than most. Wilson put it the only place the db could get to unfortunately for Seattle. NoSaint
But it was only second down. They had THREE chances to run it in. Without double checking - did the clock situation have 3 runs left on it? If not a quick pass might actually get you a 3rd attempt at the endzone that just rushing might not
