Big C
Holy crap you are right. CBS: All 8 pick the Browns straight up and 6 out of 8 with the 4.5 spread. ESPN 11 to 1 Browns Geesh, no love indeed! I'm kind of shocked about this. I get that no one picks us to beat the Pats or Ravens, but the Browns? I mean, slight advantage maybe, and I suppose they could expect a close match, but still. That's crazy to me.
Wazzu Bill
I'm kind of shocked about this. I get that no one picks us to beat the Pats or Ravens, but the Browns? I mean, slight advantage maybe, and I suppose they could expect a close match, but still. That's crazy to me. I think people are looking at just how poorly Manuel handled his first road game against the Jets, and are thinking that the Browns home advantage is enough to clinch the game. And honestly until Manuel proves otherwise the lines are probably right. That being said, Bills had a huge upset vs the Ravens and that's enough to make me an optimist about this game! Wattdogg35
The biggest key is reducing penalties. I can't tell you how many big plays we've had called back. It's to the point where I don't celebrate a big play until 5 seconds after it happens. Yea it's pretty pathetic...I don't celebrate a TD until after the extra point. but like always many of calls are very questionable, but hoping we get a few "breaks" tonight, and by "breaks" I mean the correct call. BTW, 100% conclusive evidence to overturn a call, unlike the 4 last week, would be nice.
rockpile
I have to work the help desk until midnight, but they will have the game on flat screen wall mount tv's all around the call center! No sound but at least the occasional glance. *-)

stevestojan
Am I the only one not believing this bull **** hype that the browns are very good? The line on the raven game was 3.5. This one is 4.5. Given that home field gives you 3 points, that means on neutral ground, we would have been a 6.5 point dog to the ravens and a 1.5 point to the effing BROWNS? I'm sure I'll regret this flash of optimism, but WTF. By the way, to my Pats fan co worker who schedule a meeting for 7am tomorrow with our boss, I will get you back for this. As God as my witness. YoloinOhio
As some of you know, I live in Ohio (Cbus). I had to drive to and from Dayton today for work. I listened to a combination of national and local sports radio throughout the day. Here is what I learned: 1. We are playing the 1985 Bears defense tonight. Possibly better. 2. They are QBd by a younger version of Tom Brady. 3. No one knows any player on the Bills except for EJ 4. The Browns worked out EJ two days before the draft and this game will show them how he compares to their savior, Brian Hoyer. 5. The Browns now have a great chance to win the division (just 2 weeks ago they were waving the white towel on 2013, although they had the 1985 Bears D at that time as well) 6. Josh Gordon is a turd who put on his Instagram that he is hosting a rager tonight after the game in Cleveland. i just hope Willis approves of the location, and women invited. 7. Ray Horton is such a good D coordinator, he will most certainly be a head coach next year somewhere. 8. Not one word about the Bills as a team or any of their games or players, or coaches. Only that their secondary and running backs and banged up, which means the Browns will definitely win. Because they have the 1985 Bears defense. I am so FREAKING tired of hearing about Brian Hoyer! And all the Browns fans who are picking their team to win! Without hesitation! I don't think I have ever, in all my years as a Bills fan, picked them to win without hesitation. I know they can win or lose to anyone. I would be sad but not shocked if they lost tonight. But the last time I can remember anyone picking the Bills to win was at the Jets. So, I am glad they don't today. Chris Brown @ChrisBrownBills 1m Spiller, McKelvin active for tonight. Byrd inactive. billsgpr88
Gotta get after Hoyer and rattle his cage. Gotta say, besides the jets game the pass rush has been stellar (flacco was hit on a couple of those picks, and Brady got his fair share on opening day). Hopefully we can get chandler involved (don't know why EJ doesn't go to him more, not athletic but big target and great hands), and I'd like to see TJ go deep at least once. Not sure what to expect, but the browns are THE bandwagon team this week, I don't think I remember so many people Jump on so quickly. Ef em I say, Freddie's gonna knock their rush D ranking down a couple of pegs tonite. GO BILLS GO BILLS GO BILLS GO BILLS!!!!!!!!
Mickey
I am willing to bet that Marrone didn't want to put Byrd in tonight, after only two real practices, he is bound to be rusty, better off with who we have for now.
