The Big Cat
"That doesn't matter one bit." For real, a guy walking on crutches after getting iced/taped in the teams facilities is quite literally NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. I'd be shocked if him and Merriman don't play the bulk of snaps on 9/11, even if they sit for the rest of preseason. They're two players the defense can't live without. Rest/recoop the hell out of them now because once the season starts, it's on.
LynchMob23
For a 350 lb man, walking on crutches is darn near a requirement with any sprain...

DC Tom
Now he's going to miss a year of development, be that much behind next year, everyone here's going to complain that he's not advancing fast enough and declare him a "bust", and Overdork will end up cutting the "bust" as a cost-cutting measure. Just spare the nonsense and cut him now.

Louie Armstrong
How much more can a guy take? That this organization is cursed is an understatement. BillsFanM.D.
Maybe so, but at least we have the Peter Pan link. How many other organizations have that in their back pocket? ...and so it ends. We, as devoted fans, have struck the bottom of a previously presumed bottomless pit. Now, if we could have a team as sneaky as those links we'd be playoff bound for sure. The Senator
Now, if we could have a team as sneaky as those links we'd be playoff bound for sure. Ssssshhhhh...this is just a ploy to lull Jared Gaither and Matt Cassell into a false sense of security as the season opener draws near... 19 and 0 baby!!!!! There is no bottom we've hit that limbo where we just float/fall in perpetuity until some sort of anomaly jars us loose. We are the new Lions. Johnny Hammersticks
However, there's also a hint of good news: WGRZ reports that Dareus did make it off the practice field on his own power. It's possible that the post-practice treatment was merely precautionary. My link Step off the ledge folks
