  1. hahaha I played lacrosse in college with Wild, he was a frosh my Senior year. He is out of the Pittsburg area, went to Mercyhurst (D2) to play two sports, lax and football. His older brother played Football there already. He is an athletic freak, was the best player on the Mercyhurst football team from his first game. Help Mercyhurst lacrosse win a national championship last year. Had 3 or 4 goals in the game. He had full ride offers to ND and Penn St that I know of - we told him he was retarded for not going to ND. Prob 6 footish, jacked, 210# or more as an 18 year old. Prob runs a 4.7 maybe 4.6. Great kid, really nice dude. I don't know if he is an NFL athlete, I have nothing to compare him too, but he was the best athlete at a D2 school with some very good athletics. Wish this kid the best he will be a fan favorite if he makes the team.
  2. I dont fault him for not trading up, but I would have liked him to take up one of those trade down offers. In the draft I'd rather shoot with a scatter gun than a sniper rifle. But considering how many good players fall into the 20s and the 2nd and 3rd every year, and considering how well buddy did in those round alst year. Id have liked to get more picks out of the 10th pick. Seeing Decastro slide to 24, Kirkpatrick slide to [i think] 17, having Upshaw, Fleener, and Glenn still available along with a slew of WRs. I always like the idea of moving back and adding some picks, then maybe moving up again with those picks or just sitting back. The Rams are sitting pretty right about now.
  3. If you look back in hindsight, Buddy spelled out pretty clearly who he was going to take in 2010 and 2011(Spiller/Dareus). If I take these comments with that in mind - its going to be a CB, likely Gilmore as Kalil (the two guy he would love to have, along with a second and third in Claibounre and Blackmon) is gone.
  4. I have seen Streeter sparingly and was always pretty impressed. He always seemed to be three or four steps past his man flying downfield. His Combine numbers suprised me too. I never really saw him compete for jump balls or go over the middle, because I didn't watch him much at all, he may have, idk. How complete is he? Could be a steal.
  5. GW was being mentioned as a DPOY candidate last year before his injury and the teams skid. He has been playing like a top 5 safety for the last few seasons. Florence, whatever you want to say about him, is our best CB. D Edwards is still productive and is likely our 3rd DT. Kelsay is a starter, had his best two season his last two season, and he has nudie pics of Ralph. Johnson is the only one I see getting cut. PS How did McKelvin not make this list? Troup too, although I have no idea how much he makes.
  6. In his rookie year I saw the Texans using him as the strong side end. Some teams don’t use a strictly right/left for their DL and LBs, the offensive formation will dictate which side of the line they play. This more common for LBs and the interior players, less common in the NFL for Des to flop sides I have noticed.
  7. You guys seem to be forgetting that Moats played SAM LB in the last half of 2010 (his rookie year) after the Bills went back to primarily playing a 4-3. I thought he played very well there and ESPN even did a short piece on him being an up-and-coming player that they thought would really start to produce. Then the Bills went to a 3-4 [again] and moved Moats inside for reasons no one can fathom, before moving him back outside where he played well again. I think he will be just fine as a strong side backer who can also rush on passing downs. Merriman will be a DE – I heard that reported anyways. I doubt the Bills rely on him full time, he will be in pass rushing sub packages is my guess. But, he also played very well at LB last year when we used 4 down lineman. He could play either position depending on where the team needs him. Batten will be an end. Barnett/Shep/Merriman/Moats/Morrison/White – the Bills are pretty good numbers wise. Besides, the nickel CB is on the field more often than the 3rd LB, and we like to use a 3rd safety in lieu of a 3rd LB a lot too. You don’t need three good LBs these days.
  8. Drive him to Rochester for a Garbage plate. BOOM - signed.
  9. Lets rename the stadium The Super Mario Coliseum and give him partial ownership of the team already.
  10. I was just wondering how many millions of dollars of productivity was lost in WNY today. Think its enough to pay Mario taht 100+ mil?
  11. I for one will start the petition to have WNY secceed from NYS and become the 51st state - New Mario..... Anything to get this deal done (maybe they can lower ay taxes too - its win win!)
  12. like the 4-430 presser my source told me about this morning!?!?!?!?
  13. First time back here in a while guys, but take this with a grain of salt…. I have a friend who has a friend who works in PR for the Bills (yes its one of those friend of a friend things). BUT this Bills employee says their department has been prepping for a 4 or 430 pm press conference since this morning…. That seems like an awful lot of prep time to me. But it could be a “we sign him!!!” press conference or a “we didn’t sign him :-(“ conference but who knows.
  14. I can see it now. Buddy is thinking he will sign CJax and let Stevie walk. He will bring in V Jax throw our best offer at him, and he'll sign somewhere else. Then Buddy will call Stevie who just signed with another team (likely in our division) and the Bills will have cut off thir own nose in spite of their face once again.
  15. Honestly I agree. The Bills have Stevie, Bell, and Urbik and FAs this year, and Byrd and Levitre coming up next year. We also have to sign a couple other teams studs in FA this year. Couple that with Freddie being 31, having another year left on his contract, and Spiller catching on, I just dont see the ened to get him sign right now. Once Stevie, Urbik, Byrd, and Levitre are locked up (I'd let Dbell walk if he wants a big contract - too injury prone) and we can land a V jackson or M Williams type, then sign Freddie to a smaller, short term extension in the middle or end of next season. Out of all the guys I listed Stevie is the least important one to resign if you ask me.
  16. Honestly, he was increbile last year. He wont wow on passing downs and was off the field for them, but as a 2 down player he was great. Not sure what you missed, maybe you dont know what to look for? Not trying to be mean, just sayin Shep was diesel out there since his first snap. I was extremely impressed by him.
  17. OK so honestly - why isnt this guy on the Giants roster or coaching staff yet? I absolutely woulda hired him in some fashion by now...
  18. The Bucaneers want out of Tampa, bad. Either to LA (where half the heirs to the team live already) and they are also first in line to move a team to London if it ever happens, it won't, but they have already expressed interest. Jax I have heard speculation that they would gladly go to LA (and prob should). Florida has too many teams already, and none of them do well. 3 NFL teams, plus college ball is king down there. People near Jacksonville are Gator fans, not Jags fans, Canes fans over Dolphish fans, etc. Plus there is Florida St, Central Flordia, hell I went to a South Florida game vs UConn last year on a Saturday and then the Bucs/Falcons game Sunday and there was maybe 15-20% more fans at the Bucs game.... they can barely compete with South Florida!?!?! More teams is a bad idea, there aren't enough fans to go around already.
  19. They found a good rookie this year, but still - does ti matter? The Ravens have been a steller team for 10 years. WR is a horribly over rated position. Besides, he was able to trade a 2nd round pick for one of the best WRs in the league in Bolden.
  20. A top 5 QB is worth 10+ wins. See: Colts 2002-2012 All all this 'is it Brady vs. Is is Bellicheat'.......Its their OL..... Brady sucks without it. I credit Bellicheat for maintaining the OL, and it was their Ds and kicker that won them all the superbowls...not Brady by any stretch. He was a Trent Dilfer on that first winning team.
