  1. Yeah...I think that the disdain from the other owners for Buffalo has always been a bit overblown. I mean, sure some of the guys probably resented that Ralph was always right even when he went against them all, but still they probably weren't about to go out of their way to disrespect his final wishes. Anyway I think if one thing is clear it's that Ralph was not letting this team ever move. If anything he should be pointed to as an example during this whole Goodell/Rice fiasco. It's pretty sad that he's barely a blip on the radar during this whole time. We'll see if they devote any time on the networks on Sunday. I wrote a little something about it myself if anyone cares to read.
  2. I think he was more upset about where he got picked. Sounds like he's ready to bash heads though, which is good.
  3. I'm not particularly impressed with the contracts so far besides a few LTs and we've already got an LT. The thing about Byrd is if we have money earmarked for him and will spread it elsewhere if he signs somewhere else who long to the Bills hold out hope in such a soft market?
  4. Yeah but he made the team. He was waived the night before the Skins' week 2 game.
  5. White made the Redskins out of training camp.
  6. Schefter just tweeted that Spiller will play. I recall Chris Brown or someone tweeting earlier that Williams isn't worried about missing the game.
  7. That's not entirely right. Brooks plays exclusively in the slot. Has since college. Rogers is still technically our 4th CB. If Gilmore, McKelvin and Brooks are all healthy then Rogers doesn't see the field unless they play 4 CBs. Anyway who could they sign who would only want to start for 2 weeks? Gilmore and McKelvin should both be back by the Cincy game at the latest.
  8. Why would we imagine Hernandez being on the football field if he is never going to be on one ever again?
  9. Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer 7m My sense is Byrd isn't pushing the trade issue hard right now. He also wouldn't be opposed to one. Doubt Bills do it, would be selling low. Albert Breer ‏@AlbertBreer 5m I know Bills brass held to principle in previous talks. And value in dealing an injured guy who can't be extended til Feb likely not high.
  10. What I don't understand is how he expected to become the highest paid safety in the league while he knew that he had this condition. Wouldn't this show up in physicals? It almost seems like the franchise was the best thing for him at the time.
  11. What does it say about Leinart when they cut him knowing they'd be putting Kolb on IR as well.
  12. And of course there is this: http://www.buffalobills.com/
  13. How pumped is Bill From NYC that 16 CBs went in the first 3 rounds and none of them were picked by the Bills?
  14. I still believe that it's in part due to sheer laziness on the national media's part. There seemed to be some rumblings from the local guys that Barkley and Manuel could be in play but I think most of the national guys just assumed that Marrone would take his QB. When I saw Kiper on ESPN on like Monday saying that Ryan Nassib was the most overvalued guy in the draft because he assumed that we would take him at #8 I wondered how much homework these guys were really doing.
  15. Peter King ‏@SI_PeterKing 11m RT @nfldraftscout: Three sources I trust very much are saying the #Bills prefer Matt Barkley over Ryan Nassib ... Crescendo building. Chris Wesseling ‏@ChrisWesseling 11m Re: Bills QB plans. http://NFL.com 's @AlbertBreer also hears the team might like Barkley more than Nassib http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000162940/article/bills-reportedly-eyeing-matt-barkley-not-ryan-nassib …
  16. Based on my experiences following the Bills in the time that Chris Brown has worked for them the answer is almost certainly no, he does not know something that we don't.
  17. Where is the police SUV? Where are you talking about? There is a Green Honda that was the perps' and a black Mercedes SUV that the perps stole and that was the one driven down the street in the pictures. What is this police SUV that you speak of?
  18. I'm guessing that this guy is a Government mole? http://www.getonhand.com/blogs/news/7743337-boston-bombing-suspect-shootout-pictures
  19. Haha I'm just seeing this crap pop up now too. This dude was caught on film by WHDH in Boston...just a random who didn't cooperate when the police asked him who he was, etc. and they got him to the ground and cuffed him. You can clearly see the guy and that footage and he looks nothing like Bomber #1. He has light brown/almost red hair, is heavier than #1 and his clothes didn't match the clothes that #1 had in the 7/11 footage. But those facts are not good enough for our buddy John I'm sure.
  20. I was literally sitting in the window of that restaurant in front of the second blast, Forum, last year at the time of the bomb going off. But this clown has all the answers.
  21. Wow you really are an idiot aren't you...not only is it not implausible to shoot a gun and throw something out the window while you are driving but the timeline is made clear by that dreaded eyewitness civilian account that you continue to conveniently ignore. The shots, around 12:50 a.m., woke resident Jennings Aske, at 66 Laurel Ave. When he looked out his window he saw a green Honda Civic sedan stopped in the street, with its lights on and the driver’s side windows blown out. A husky man – apparently Tamerlan Tsarnaev -- stood nearby firing a gun. “I saw him standing there shooting at police,” Aske said. “When he fired, there was a little flash of light. I could hear the gun firing. It was terrifying.” It sounds like most of the action happened when the cars were stopped. But again you only see the facts that you want to see.
  22. I can vouch for the cops being there...I saw the lights, I heard the sirens. Again it's easy to spew this crap from so far away. I know many police officers in Watertown and the surrounding areas. I am surprised that some of them can even tie their shoes, God bless them, but I know they are hard workers. And I can tell you that they did not have the training to deal with a situation like this but some of them went in there anyway and you spit all over their effort and sacrifice with your ridiculous theories. That doesn't even mention the first responders, both police and EMS at the blast sites. That is what I have a problem with. I have an idea, why don't you come to Watertown and approach these cops and people who live in the neighborhood and witnessed it all and call them liars to their faces?
  23. There have been multiple eyewitnesses who witnessed the shoot-out. Civilians have bullet holes in their furniture from it. Reporters were on the scene. It's not hard to find the facts unless you aren't willing to see them. Christ buddy, it's easy to toss around these wild theories when you are hundreds of miles away isn't it?
