Furthermore, the aircrafts were over Navy-protected nuclear sites.

I hate to nag, but I'm quite interested in where the reference is for this claim.

No response for a couple days, but I'm hoping.

You came to this conclusion from somewhere else, and I am interested in finding out where that was from.

I have operated in the area where these were recorded.

The US, nor any other country that I'm aware of, does not operate nuclear facilities in international waters.

So where is the area, and where is the claim?

I don’t have any other info other than what was mentioned in the news reports. Here is a detailed article on the full events observed by the Navy.

https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/39913/multiple-destroyers-were-swarmed-by-mysterious-drones-off-california-over-numerous-nights

It is stated that they were near the Navy base on San Clemente Island, which I believe, is close to the now closed San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant. Possibly that is the site that the Navy is overseeing.

Considering that this thread is 167 pages long I thought that it was of most importance to note that for the first time ever the Navy is claiming that they have absolutely no idea what these sightings were but that they do believe that they were something real.

The Navy operates near the San Clemente Island facility.

Those operations have nothing to do with the closed San Onofre nuclear power plant, which is on the mainland, south of the city of San Clemente, (not the island), and was run by Southern California Edison.

the Navy does not defend civilian nuclear power plants.

Very few aircraft operations are conducted on San Clemente Island.

Years ago we would use targets there, but environmental pressures have pretty much ended that, and even then it wasn't used much.

The area that those FLIR images came from is called the SoCal Operating area, and is where carriers operate during work ups for Pacific cruises.

It is international waters.

Anyway, not trying to be impolite, but linking these recordings to a suggestion that there is some nuclear component is a non starter.

so we buying into the theory the aliens live under water?

It's possible!  They seem to be around water a lot with this new breed of military sightings that are being investigated.

I guess it's a good place to hide if you don't want to be detected by humans.

This is worth your time if you didn't see it yet:

Any alien signals detected yet or is math still math?

Was wondering how long it would take you..... I was starting to think you may have been sick, or locked up. Peeped in the thread here and there once in a while and was surprised I didn't see it yet. You're getting better with your UFO thread addiction, getting better taking longer breaks in between.

Keep up the work, you can fight this.....

With the recent report that the US can't explain dozens of UFO sightings...this is definitely a UFO.

Lol, it's like who would really think the government would be truthful, not just about something like this, but pretty much about a lot of things really lol.

I like that the government says "We don't think they're extraterrestrial or Russian or Chinese."  Okaaaaay, who DO you think possess this future tech?  Is it Gates, Besos or Musk? 🤣

DIG UP THE OCEAN UFO, US GUMMERMENT!

I believe they've said they don't know, and they've never acknowledged the existence of  "future tech."

From https://www.wired.com/story/what-the-pentagons-new-ufo-report-tells-us-about-ourselves/?utm_source=pocket-newtab

"The new report is less a major turning point in our understanding of life in the universe and more a product of our current cultural climate, a time when expertise and authority are increasingly being called into question. The debate over UFOs instead highlights the limits of knowledge and humanity’s continued need to believe in something beyond our mundane experience of the world."

It seems like they're crossing wires with that statement. The UFO debate certainly highlights the need to believe in something beyond. It always has. But that's been discussed to death. It's lazy to deflect to that.

This report doesn't highlight that. It highlights a shift in the government's handling of public perception around such events. That part of it (and what the government believes and is willing to disclose) is more interesting than simply continuing the discussion around why members of the public believe.

What the NAVY is seeing is not a craft, but plasma created by a min of 3 coincident lasers creating plasma balls that show up on radar. The fast speeds and accelerations are possible with no sound and no sonic booms. Russia and China are laughing their asses off at the clueless Pentagon.

Yeah, I believe you know exactly what it is. You have known all along the answer to the big mystery.

The Navy is well aware of laser caused plasma images in the IR spectrum.

They've been working on it for ten years as a missile decoy system.

In fact, they have a patent on the technology.

Doesn't hurt to plan ahead:

https://spy.com/articles/health-wellness/stress-relief/how-to-prepare-for-an-alien-invasion-1202773602/

I know a guy who isn't planning for an alien invasion, but has concerns about society breaking down in some fashion.  He stocked up on doomsday prepper supplies,  including food and ammo.  How do I know this?   I watched him turn pale as he tried to figure out how to muzzle his wife, who was all too happy to blab to a group of social acquaintances (not family) about all the detailed preparations her hubby had made.  I figure he probably upped the weapons inventory after his wife let a bunch of people know where they could find food and shelter when doomsday arrives.

I mean there is no planning for it if they find us first it's really just up to what they want.

Scientific American article about a study that examined which exoplanets around distant stars could detect earth as an exoplanet orbiting our sun, if you assumed that an alien civilization on the distant exoplanet used the same exoplanet detection methods that our own civilization has recently developed.  Basically, it figures out which distant planets were positioned in such a way that they could observe earth transiting across the face of our sun.   That ability changes over time because stars and planets are constantly moving through space, so they picked a 10,000 year window for their study - - from 5,000 years ago through 5,000 years in the future.

Apparently it will be used to help view UFOs on the ocean floor.

Any updates on this or has math been declared the victor?

Are you the "math" guy who has commented throughout this thread?

Please explain directly how "math" has proven there is no life in the universe, other than on Earth.

Thanks.

It’s already in the thread and is explained very directly as you requested.  The discussion is about intelligent communicative  life and does not involve any speculation on microbial life/etc so your question is not exactly the same.

Are you the same "ieatcrayonz" poster and just changed your name or whatever? Just wondering because I went to first 1-5 pages from 2011 and the "ieatcrayonz" posted same things as you and both say Indiana. Lol, crayonz posted a lot of "any updates on this" and also lots of "math" posts.

Not trying to be an ass or anything so hope you don't take it that way, was just curious because the post are basically identical. Posting the same responses from 2011-2022, it seems this is and has been something that you have an overwhelming amount of investment in.

...and yet he never bothers to actually articulate whatever point he is trying to make.

Actually, "math" would suggest the universe is teeming with life.

Now, as to the Fermi Paradox, "where is it, why haven't we seen it?" well that's a different issue entirely.

There are plenty of interesting theories on why that should be, even if the universe is filled with life.

My current line of thinking is that highly intelligent/advanced life may not be nearly as common throughout the universe as we might think.  Like we might be the most advanced/only advanced civilization in our galaxy, perhaps.

If that's true throughout the universe, it could help explain why we haven't been visited.

The question is what is the broken link in the chain of the Drake Equation.

No one really knows, but it gives rise to interesting discussion.
