  1. So I'm watching the game on YTTV and have to deal with Bears announcers. One play the announcer commented, "Edmunds over-pursued on that play, but that's because he's been out awhile. Once he gets a few practices in he'll make that play" Little do they know!
  2. Stuck with the Bears announcers, that sucks!
  3. He'd also need to pass through waivers so if as good as advertised by you, Bills may not have a chance.
  4. No, per Google. The one thing that surprises me is that it doesn't require you to be on campus. A simple work around is to buy the plan for your student, but the parent watches from home every week where ever they live. Just requires the student not to also want to watch. But Sunday at 1:00 most students are still sleeping or too hung over to care. Having YTTV I know they are pretty good about knowing exactly where you are logging in from. Student Plans do not include family sharing, and only include one signed-in device and one concurrent stream at a time. Eligibility for the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan To sign up for an NFL Sunday Ticket student membership, you must: Be 18 years of age or older. Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university. Be verified as a student by SheerID. For help with the verification process, contact SheerID or review their FAQs. While you do not need to be enrolled at a U.S. institution to be eligible, you must be located in the U.S. to watch and purchase NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube. You will be required to verify your eligibility before purchasing the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan for future seasons.
  5. Agree, but seems like the area K Allen is struggling the most with is understanding the playbook from what has been published. Think Kennan may be ahead there??
  6. I'd rather go after Case Keenam, think he could be had as is #3 on the Texans. Maybe could have the distinction of twice being traded for a 7th round pick. He'd hit the ground running at least in knowledge of the playbook.
  7. Think it's a little easier to succeed in the playoffs in the NFC as there hasn't been as many true dominant teams that you'd need to beat to get there. That can help SF's playoff record a bit.
  8. Yes but you were the one who didn't like mine.
  9. Great, but it's still just an opinion You're a real expert around here on TBD. All of 71 posts will do that.
  10. I guess I missed the official post from the Arizona Cardinals front office that stated they have an abundance of tackles. And what is the exact definition of excess tackles since that appears to be factually known? You're the one who first accused me of adding opinion to your facts and nitpicked my comment. I'm just pointing out that what you call "Facts" are nothing more than opinion too. I don't disagree with them having an excess either, that's just an opinion that you I, Gaughan and others share. Sounded like you need a better understanding of what facts actually are.
  11. LOL!! So his other comment isn't also opinion?? Arizona hasn't made a trade yet so maybe it's just Gaughan's opinion that they have excess tackles and trading him for Basham isn't also just Gaughan's opinion?? It's all opinion! Buffalo News Mark Gaughan says Arizona has surplus of OT's. Josh Jones, a 2020 3rd rounder and Kelvin Beachum, an 11-year starter. Basham trade?
  12. Maybe you should posted the rest of what he said too: Every team in the league with depth concerns at tackle probably has called the Cardinals, so don’t get your hopes up.
  13. So I wrote my comment before yesterday's game, do agree now too they keep Harty
  14. I think Isabella makes it too, but over either Shakir or Harty A lot of what they signed Harty for can be done by Isabella
  15. Legally, I'm sure the answer is no. Can you get away with, maybe. I have 2 houses so use the one account between them and YTTV is not too happy with me and have to answer questions about where I live.
  16. Yes but think they're much improved on D line from last year. That alone will make up a lot of what is lost in Edmunds. D line last year was good as long as no injuries or nicked up starters. This year have better depth plus a stronger secondary that barring multiple injuries should be stronger overall.
  17. So had to look it up, I'll be here 20 years in December!
  18. IMO that is the one thing that separates Allen from others like C Newton, Lamar Jackson, etc. People here often post how Allen is one run away from a potential career ending injury, see Cam Newton, look what happened to him. To me that is the one difference with Allen, he has the arm talent to still win. He may need to work a slight amount more on accuracy, but he can still be a good starting QB in the league even without running. Likely too give a couple more years and the mental part, anticipating certain things will also improve some too so the need to run will go down.
  19. What wouldbe interesting to know too is how these numbers compare against league averages. My guess is you'd find pretty similar results. As stated better teams will likely play less rookies. To me it looks like they drafted Elam based on physical traits and the little bit I've read recently sounds like coverage wise, he's like glue. But he may be taking longer than expected to absorb, understand, and put into action all the mental parts of the game so that is what has been holding him back. Could be too early last year he really struggled in these areas. Benford may be the opposite, doesn't have near the skill set of Elam but relies on instincts and is going to be steady, may not make the great play, but won't make the big mistake either. Jackson is maybe also more like Benford, doesn't have the physical still set, but also has 4 years under his belt so again even less likely to make the big mistake. Could be that McD feels there's enough talent out there surrounding the CB2 spot so doesn't need spectacular play there but is more worried about mistakes and big plays. Does sound too like Elam's closing the gap. Not too concerned with Benford playing more on Sunday either.
  20. If you're going to be a HS official, do it NY state as they pay much better. I used to ref HS volleyball till I moved away in 2008. Doing a JV then varsity back to back was around $90 back then and I recall we were going to be getting a fairly large increase the following season.. Plus I lived in Rochester district where they also paid mileage. I lived in a NW suburb of Rochester and was doing games in Wayland/Cohocton which added close to another $50 in mileage which likely has also gone up as gas prices are also much higher. Recall Buffalo district didn't directly pay mileage, instead they had somehow calculated the average distance each official would to travel to the average school and everyone got that amount every match regardless how far you actually drove. This was about 15 years ago, so who knows what the policy's are now. Do recall in Rochester the AD's were beating on the assigners to assign officials with the lowest mileage even if that often meant having officials that really should be working lower level matches. Didn't matter, $$ came first! Moved to NC and we'd get around $60 and in the 5 or 6 years I was doing it, never got an increase, plus no mileage down here. I stopped about 8 years ago mainly due to lack of time, planned to start again the following year, but never did and at this point, not likely I will bother as now retired and traveling too much.
  21. That's around what I prefer for spending money too.
  22. Really is a shame the coaching staff doesn't get this like the poster here do.
  23. Any idea is Marv the oldest living member of the Hall of fame? At 98 can't be too many older ones left.
  24. From what I read, Bates took the majority of the snaps at RG. Torrence got some, but didn't read anything to indicate he in any way outplayed Bates. Don't think Torrence looked bad either, but not sure II heard anything to indicate he'll be the starter either. Think it's a good problem to have overall. I do think in 2024 Bates will be the starting center with Torrence and McGovern next to him.
  25. Assuming he has a half way successful season I'd agree, he won't be fired. Like the rumored story states, one playoff win which IMO is asking a lot. Maybe he still keeps the job without the win depending how everything else goes. But a 4th place finish which most people are predicting in the AFC East could get him canned. NE has got a lot of bad press over the years due to all the cheating, and other issues that have happened there and in turn it's given Kraft a bad name in ownership circles. Maybe much of it Kraft wasn't even aware of until too late, who knows? Likely he was more willing to put up with it though when the team was winning every year. Like many he may also have given more credit to BB for their winning, but every year that goes by shows it was more due to Brady than him. So putting all these things together, I could see him getting fired if they have a 4th place finish with a 6-11 or so record. The one thing IMO that Belichick is hanging around for is the all time most wins record. But needs 30 more wins to tie. That's at least 3 more above .500 seasons to get there. So tend to agree without the team showing considerable improvement this year by winning about 10 games, it could take 4 or 5 more years to do so and can't see Kraft giving him that much time if all the team is doing is playing .500 ball at best
