He must have watched the Bills Ravens playoff game from 2 years ago and thought he was Johnson. Typically people who play football all their life aren't members of Menza. Players always want to be hero's

Not the case. There were 5 games on late today. The map below show the games on and the yellow dot represents my home market. Thru YTTV I was able to all choose from the 5 games being televised which ones I wanted to watch in multiview but not the 4 I wanted to view at the same time. At one point I had the NE, Denver, Rams, & Bears, at another point I had Fish, Rams, Bears, & Redzone. But could not pick the 4 I wanted which were NE, Fish, Rams, & Bears. So the fact that at any time could watch the local televised games in multiview, just not with the others that I wanted tells me it was a different issue. Basically they are not giving all options of all games.

I gave it a good grade to for the early games, since Bills weren't on, used multi view, everything great. Now have the late games there are a total of 5 games on right now. For the four games I want to choose all of them except the Raiders Denver game. That is the one choice that is not there. In the early time slot, they had about 10 different options to pick from. With only 5 games total lot less options, they only give 3 and not the one I want. This sucks!

Isabella shows moves, will he make the roster?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah that too. Good chance he will be elevated to the 53 at some point. Question is will it end up being in Buffalo or will some other team first sign him due to their own injuries. -
Wonder if the networks like or dislike the competing 4:25 games starts? Other than the first and last week of the season, only one coast to coast 4:25 game each week. Having exclusive viewing at 4:25 is better, but is still getting some viewership each week by showing a late game better than no viewership when no game is on? Could be bad later in the season if it turns out one of the networks has a bad game, likely more games would get flexed if both networks could show late games.

Isabella shows moves, will he make the roster?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem Isabella had to overcome to make the roster was he provided the same identical role as both Harty and Shakir, WR and return man. Gilliam provides a much different ST role and it's a role that without Gilliam, they'd need to find someone else to fill that spot. Has Isabella ever played the role of a gunner? Very likely too if Isabella had made the 53, he'd be inactive as can't see them going with 6 WR on Sunday's when there's a good chance they will be using 2 TE's more this year, and you have 5 other WR's who are above him in the pecking order. So to me hard to argue Isabella would have contributed more as barring injury, he'd likely never had even been active. I do think if there is an injury to any WR or one of the 5 ahead of him falters real bad, likely Isabella would be the first guy called up to replace him. -
Injury reports for Bills vs. Jets
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't recall starting last year with anyone injured either. Most all happened in the first 3 or 4 weeks, Davis, Hyde, Poyer. Allen, Miller and Brown came later on. -
The concept isn't a terrible idea, but as has been pointed out KC still have Kelce. The other issue would be the cap hit. Believe it's been stated that for this season and next, the Bills are stuck with Diggs due to the hit. But in 2025 if there is any more whining, issues coming from Diggs, at that point, he likely would be gone once the cap hit is low enough. Personally I wasn't a big fan of getting Hopkins for the reasons the OP stated, we don't need a second elite WR. One plus the talent around him when throwing in Allen is enough to win with.

Didn't see this posted anywhere? Doesn't give any specifics on $$, sounds like OBJ contract put him out of Bills price range. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/5-time-pro-bowl-wr-breaks-silence-on-rejecting-bills-offer/ar-AA1gozdr?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=94f31fc4f0f744409c31d6a43f6927eb&ei=288

Bill Belichick Officially On the Market
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Timing of this is pretty funny to me as just yesterday was reading an article that listed all these famous couples and how long they've be together and BB was one of the couples listed. -
Filthy's official 2023 NFL predictions
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to FilthyBeast's topic in The Stadium Wall
13-3 and losing in the 2nd round of playoffs was demise?? Did they win the SB, no but hardly a demise either. Maybe they could repeat the "demise" again this year! -
Concerning tweets from Roger Saffold.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Not at the table Karlos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Always thought it's got to be tough on someone who has played a sport likely ever since they were a little kid and all of a sudden it's over. They want to keep playing where as most people who retire in their 60's or so by then are tired and sick of working. They more are OK with it. -
Thought I read he was back to practice last week already??

Will boogie basham be the next Wyatt Teller for Beane?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Teller had limited chances here, but the little bit he did play, he looked more promising. Teller was traded for the same reasons, numbers, someone wasn't going to make the team. But in Basham's case he had time to prove to Beane that he didn't need to sign Floyd or Ford this off season. But both Basham and AJ's play left Beane feeling they needed more. -
Season Predictions..have fun or flame away
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
You lost me here! No one can be as bad as Arizona! Well I suppose the Cardinals could trade their #1 pick to the Panthers for backup QB, Andy Dalton. -
OK knew he looked familiar.

OK at the end, who's that in the chair next to Brady? Was it Gronk?

Are the Monday night games required to be broadcast over the air in "flagship" (believe that's the term they use) market for both Buffalo and NYC? If you live in Rochester or anyplace but Buffalo, you're screwed, but as long as you're in the Buffalo broadcast area, you'd be able to watch it over the air? Or doe that requirement just apply to the Thursday night Amazon Prime games? Also thought the first week the game is simulcast on ABC? Used to really pi** me off as Rochester was still within the Bills blackout region, but didn't fall under the flagship rules. Kind of a double set of standards.
