  1. Didn't see this posted anywhere? Doesn't give any specifics on $$, sounds like OBJ contract put him out of Bills price range. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/5-time-pro-bowl-wr-breaks-silence-on-rejecting-bills-offer/ar-AA1gozdr?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=94f31fc4f0f744409c31d6a43f6927eb&ei=288
  2. Timing of this is pretty funny to me as just yesterday was reading an article that listed all these famous couples and how long they've be together and BB was one of the couples listed.
  3. 13-3 and losing in the 2nd round of playoffs was demise?? Did they win the SB, no but hardly a demise either. Maybe they could repeat the "demise" again this year!
  4. Always thought it's got to be tough on someone who has played a sport likely ever since they were a little kid and all of a sudden it's over. They want to keep playing where as most people who retire in their 60's or so by then are tired and sick of working. They more are OK with it.
  5. Thought I read he was back to practice last week already??
  6. Maybe you need to educate them on this topic. Then they'll be a smart as you!
  7. Teller had limited chances here, but the little bit he did play, he looked more promising. Teller was traded for the same reasons, numbers, someone wasn't going to make the team. But in Basham's case he had time to prove to Beane that he didn't need to sign Floyd or Ford this off season. But both Basham and AJ's play left Beane feeling they needed more.
  8. You lost me here! No one can be as bad as Arizona! Well I suppose the Cardinals could trade their #1 pick to the Panthers for backup QB, Andy Dalton.
  9. OK knew he looked familiar.
  10. Think as long as the bulk of the starters stay healthy, team should be better. Definitely have improvements on the offensive side and defensively better all around except MLB, but enough improvements on the line to make up for that.
  11. OK at the end, who's that in the chair next to Brady? Was it Gronk?
  12. Are the Monday night games required to be broadcast over the air in "flagship" (believe that's the term they use) market for both Buffalo and NYC? If you live in Rochester or anyplace but Buffalo, you're screwed, but as long as you're in the Buffalo broadcast area, you'd be able to watch it over the air? Or doe that requirement just apply to the Thursday night Amazon Prime games? Also thought the first week the game is simulcast on ABC? Used to really pi** me off as Rochester was still within the Bills blackout region, but didn't fall under the flagship rules. Kind of a double set of standards.
  13. Post Office did just announce some increases for shipping.
  14. Yup this is it completely. People need to show how smart they are, they know more than everyone else. Amazing too the OP has all of 22 posts. Really should be a rule you need to make about 500 posts before starting a new thread and need to be a board member for at least 90 days before even responding to a thread. As far as the content, as has been stated Epenesa isn't a bust, he's not making the pro-bowl but a decent rotational player. If the Bills hadn't drafted Benford, good chance Elam would be starting. But one of these freak things happened where a 6th rounder was way undervalued and had shown he's capable of being a starter. One of the themes with Beane is he tends to draft more on potential, Allen, Knox, and Edmunds are few names that come to mind, but there are others. First off when you draft these guys, they'll usually take longer to develop and think the risk does go up that they may end op being a bust too as more guessing as to what they may become.
  15. Recall a neighbor of mine being in a fantasy football league back around 1985. Believe it was all done manually, get the box scores from the Monday morning newspaper and figure it all out.
  16. So they signed Ferguson and this German guy. Who'd they drop today?
  17. He's not a rookie, he's been around the block a few times and knows how these things work. He could be on a teams 53 tomorrow and cut by Saturday so felt the Bills look like a more stable path going forward. And knows he's likely one injury away from the 53
  18. Well maybe the Bills can hire Daboll in a 3 years when he's on the unemployment line after being fired by the Giants. Much better chance at that happening.
  19. Forgot about Jones, he'd be a prime candidate for an extension.
  20. So haven't read much lately about this, will Beane likely have to re-do some contracts also in the next 24 hours to get the total $$ for the top 51 under the salary cap limit? Recall reading months back, White and Dawkins were suggested candidates. Miller also was mentioned, or did he already redo his in the spring?
  21. I vote for #1. Jackson has done one thing to lose his spot, gets paid more. If Jackson is again the starter, what do they do in the off season. Re-sign him to would likely require even more money than his current $2 mil, draft a rookie or give the job next year to either Elam or Benford, or sign a different FA likely also at a higher salary. So I see this as move for the future. Either Benford or Elam starts this year and if get as good play from either as they do from Jackson, let Jackson walk next year. Both Benford and Elam are on cheap contracts for 2 more years. Think a better chance Elam gets traded, but again would only be for a good return, 3rd round or better. But don't see this as had been an event ot showcase Benford for a trade.
  22. I don't buy it!! Josh Allen has looked very good. Granted once in awhile he's struggled, but for the most part has done well.
  23. Never even thought about looking for the audio feed someplace. I do have a Sirius subscription too.
  24. I can live with the separate streaming apps. Just make it easier that as soon as I click on YTTV (or Netflix, Prime, etc) it immediately goes to my home screen for that app, no opening delays.
