  1. Post Office did just announce some increases for shipping.
  2. Yup this is it completely. People need to show how smart they are, they know more than everyone else. Amazing too the OP has all of 22 posts. Really should be a rule you need to make about 500 posts before starting a new thread and need to be a board member for at least 90 days before even responding to a thread. As far as the content, as has been stated Epenesa isn't a bust, he's not making the pro-bowl but a decent rotational player. If the Bills hadn't drafted Benford, good chance Elam would be starting. But one of these freak things happened where a 6th rounder was way undervalued and had shown he's capable of being a starter. One of the themes with Beane is he tends to draft more on potential, Allen, Knox, and Edmunds are few names that come to mind, but there are others. First off when you draft these guys, they'll usually take longer to develop and think the risk does go up that they may end op being a bust too as more guessing as to what they may become.
  3. Recall a neighbor of mine being in a fantasy football league back around 1985. Believe it was all done manually, get the box scores from the Monday morning newspaper and figure it all out.
  4. So they signed Ferguson and this German guy. Who'd they drop today?
  5. He's not a rookie, he's been around the block a few times and knows how these things work. He could be on a teams 53 tomorrow and cut by Saturday so felt the Bills look like a more stable path going forward. And knows he's likely one injury away from the 53
  6. Well maybe the Bills can hire Daboll in a 3 years when he's on the unemployment line after being fired by the Giants. Much better chance at that happening.
  7. Forgot about Jones, he'd be a prime candidate for an extension.
  8. So haven't read much lately about this, will Beane likely have to re-do some contracts also in the next 24 hours to get the total $$ for the top 51 under the salary cap limit? Recall reading months back, White and Dawkins were suggested candidates. Miller also was mentioned, or did he already redo his in the spring?
  9. I vote for #1. Jackson has done one thing to lose his spot, gets paid more. If Jackson is again the starter, what do they do in the off season. Re-sign him to would likely require even more money than his current $2 mil, draft a rookie or give the job next year to either Elam or Benford, or sign a different FA likely also at a higher salary. So I see this as move for the future. Either Benford or Elam starts this year and if get as good play from either as they do from Jackson, let Jackson walk next year. Both Benford and Elam are on cheap contracts for 2 more years. Think a better chance Elam gets traded, but again would only be for a good return, 3rd round or better. But don't see this as had been an event ot showcase Benford for a trade.
  10. I don't buy it!! Josh Allen has looked very good. Granted once in awhile he's struggled, but for the most part has done well.
  11. Never even thought about looking for the audio feed someplace. I do have a Sirius subscription too.
  12. I can live with the separate streaming apps. Just make it easier that as soon as I click on YTTV (or Netflix, Prime, etc) it immediately goes to my home screen for that app, no opening delays.
  13. Every year there are players like that and for the most part aren't even claimed. Eventually maybe by late October or so due to league wide attrition from injuries, he'll get grabbed up. But likely the Bills will have the 1st shot at him if desired.
  14. Yeah but I'm just scrolling through all the channels I've already subscribed to so they aren't selling me anything. That's my one (well maybe one of my biggest) gripes with any and all streaming services. It's not nearly as easy or fast to maneuver around to view programming as an old set top cable/DTV box/DVR is to use. Even the fact every time I want to enter YTTV, I need to start the app with takes maybe 20 to 30 seconds. Why can't there be an option to just run in the background? So is there a "channel" called ST that I can move to the top? I assumed it would be listed by game??
  15. I assume you did that on a device other than your TV, but it then also shows up there. Is there a way to just move ST to the top or would it need to be on a game by game basis. For example I have already moved ESPN and NFL Network towards the top of my list. But how do I move Bills vs ??? to the top?
  16. Yeah agree, for the first week everything went smooth with telecast. Only complaint I had was went into YTTV about 40 minutes prior to the game and it didn't show up in the top "highlights" section of upcoming programming so went looking for it and that took a bunch of scrolling. Would be nice if YTTV had a little sub menu just for ST alone so everything related and only what's related is on one little package.
  17. I'd consider trading him only if I can get good return on him, a 3rd round pick or better, or as suggested already a starting quality type MLB. He's not terrible and he's cheap. Assume Bedford is named the starter, next year can then let Jackson walk as still have White and 2 other CB's on rookie deals for 2 more seasons. Without Elam, you're either going to need to keep Jackson at higher cost, sign a FA CB again at a higher cost, or go with a rookie and be kind of thin there.
  18. Sorry you're wrong ! There's another entire thread questioning the leadership of this team! Shaking my head, based on responses, I guess no one gets sarcasm.
  19. So I'm watching the game on YTTV and have to deal with Bears announcers. One play the announcer commented, "Edmunds over-pursued on that play, but that's because he's been out awhile. Once he gets a few practices in he'll make that play" Little do they know!
  20. Stuck with the Bears announcers, that sucks!
  21. He'd also need to pass through waivers so if as good as advertised by you, Bills may not have a chance.
  22. No, per Google. The one thing that surprises me is that it doesn't require you to be on campus. A simple work around is to buy the plan for your student, but the parent watches from home every week where ever they live. Just requires the student not to also want to watch. But Sunday at 1:00 most students are still sleeping or too hung over to care. Having YTTV I know they are pretty good about knowing exactly where you are logging in from. Student Plans do not include family sharing, and only include one signed-in device and one concurrent stream at a time. Eligibility for the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan To sign up for an NFL Sunday Ticket student membership, you must: Be 18 years of age or older. Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university. Be verified as a student by SheerID. For help with the verification process, contact SheerID or review their FAQs. While you do not need to be enrolled at a U.S. institution to be eligible, you must be located in the U.S. to watch and purchase NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube. You will be required to verify your eligibility before purchasing the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan for future seasons.
  23. Agree, but seems like the area K Allen is struggling the most with is understanding the playbook from what has been published. Think Kennan may be ahead there??
  24. I'd rather go after Case Keenam, think he could be had as is #3 on the Texans. Maybe could have the distinction of twice being traded for a 7th round pick. He'd hit the ground running at least in knowledge of the playbook.
