The other day in the BN column that question came up, below is part of Jay S's answer Let’s say they finish this season 8-9. That would leave him 22 wins short. Without an answer at quarterback, it’s hard to see New England making a big jump forward in the years ahead, so projecting them to finish with somewhere between seven to 10 wins over the next couple of years seems reasonable. That would mean Belichick would need to coach into his age-74 season in 2026 to get the record. Jay didn't think Kraft would ever fire him, but I'm not so sure. Can't see him giving him more than another year unless gets 10 wins in 2024

YouTube TV Sunday Ticket Week 2 review…
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's true would work, but this is just for this week while traveling, all my TV's at home have YTTV no issues there. I have my laptop with me so can watch on laptop and plug that into HDMI port too. -
YouTube TV Sunday Ticket Week 2 review…
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Keep in mind if you use the You Tube app, you can't watch the games on the local TV station. Can't watch them in multi view either, don't think they will even be listed. Whereas in YTTV, the local show up and can watch with multi view. That's a nice improvement over DTV The TV may be smart, but I'm in a hotel with a hotel user iinterface. Maybe there's a way to add an app, but didn't see it. They usually like to keep these things locked down so people aren't downloading porn and stuff. -
YouTube TV Sunday Ticket Week 2 review…

So I'm a YTTV subscriber and have ST. I'm away this coming weekend and the TV's where I'm staying have various streaming apps including You Tube but NOT YTTV. So wondering since I subscribe to ST, can I watch this week through the You Tube app instead of YTTV? -
Joe Buscaglia still writing for the Athletic?

9 months ago would have been early January, right at the beginning of the playoffs. I don't understand how he had time for this?? If this was a player, I'd blame that on the loss to the Bengals -
Thought the line played well too, but again not facing Jets D

Bills vs Raiders 1st half thread

So does Bernard now have one more Int than Edmunds had last season? -
Agree! My take on it is if Benford wasn't on the team, Elam would at a minimum be active and maybe even starting. If the Bills had known they were going to draft Benford and he'd be as good as he has turned out to be, I'm sure things would have been done differently. It's not very often a 6th round pick beats out a 1st rounder particularly from the same draft so that certainly gives this a bad look for the Bills. Diggs was a 5th round pick. I'm sure he's jumped over many players drafted higher than him, but because they weren't likely taken in the same draft, it goes unnoticed and all the talk is about how great Diggs is. With Elam not playing also doesn't give him the in game experience to improve so will take longer. To me though this whole thread should be about how good Benford has become, that to me is the story.

Is Josh a mediocre QB right now? And does it matter?
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
I probably should have stated it as: Allen for the most part has not displayed the ability to be patient for an extended period of time. Now whats an extended period. All game, consecutive games?? I'd be happy with one game, start to finish. My quote was copied and pasted from the article so it's however accurate the writer got it down. So yeah he may be calling the plays Allen likes, but the defense is waiting for him on them. However if he was really calling the plays Allen likes it would be; run left, hurdle LB on 3 -

Good article in Today's Athletic, was titled "How do you tame a wild quarterback like Josh Allen". I'm not going to post a link as if you don't have a sub, can't read it. It talked about Brett Farve never having less than 13 Int's a year and better than a 2.3% Int rate. At age 40 Brad Childress was his coach and calmed him down though Childress gives much of the credit to DC Leslie Frazier who was a calming influence to him. It also contained a fair amount of comments from Kevin Gilbide who is working at breaking down Monday Night games His points were defenses have figured him out: “I would take away the quick throws outside,” Gilbride said. “Right now he’s much more comfortable throwing the clear, easy-to-read stuff outside the numbers. I would play as much quarters coverage (as I could) to force him to read stuff in the middle of the field, force him to see the high-low stuff and make decisions. I’m not sure he’s reading those things at all. That’s what I would do to slow him down.” Allen for the most part has not displayed the ability to be patient. He can for stretches of time, but then tends to revert back to the reckless side of things. in the past after a game like last week, the good Josh will be on display this week, but for how long is the question?? -
TBDAHOT 24* Party Planning Committee thread

Recall going to one game and passed this group of tailgaters. I'm guessing one of the group must have worked in an appliance store and they brought with them an empty refrigerator carton, cut through one side to make a door, so inside was their own group port-a-pottie. When the game ended happened to walk through this same section of the lot. The carton was gone but was pretty apparent what was there prior just by looking down at the pavement. -
Josh has lost confidence… reasons why.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch replied to Toledo Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally I think Daboll may be getting too much credit here. I think he may have got out of town just in time before teams figured Josh out and would have been the same issues even if he were still here. Agree the fall out in the media since Monday has been rather brutal. -

Figured him out in that let's make him be patient as he can't. He will for awhile, but then as others stated the hero ball and arm arrogance takes over. Maybe he needs to hear/read more in the media ripping him about these things to take it to heart. -

YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket: Impressions?

Agree, there was no combination that provided both the NE and Miami games. There is an option within YTTV to give feedback and I told them about this. So far haven't received anything back from them, but maybe feedback to them just goes int o a black hole. No you're not missing something. YTTV is a bit different than a traditional cable box. Instead you just select what you want from the options provided. Do agree is not nearly as easy to move around. On a normal basis I just "like" what I want to view, then go afterward to library to view it. But that isn't practical for the games on a Sunday. Do you actually have YTTV or sounds like you just have ST and are watching thru You Tube. AlphaDawg and I solved this one. If you have YTTV the local games are available and can select in multiview which is something you could not do in DTV. But if viewing through You Tube interface, then local games will not appear. -
Was listening yesterday think it was on the CBS pregame show and they were commenting how Hamlin is the prohibitive favorite for comeback player of the year. Just read an article on ESPN stating likely Hamlin won't be active tonight. Barring injuries, that could be a theme throughout the year. So potentially we could have the prohibitive favorite for comeback player of the year hardly ever plays all season. That could be interesting to see how that plays out then.

Yes I am a YTTV subscriber so that does explain why I had all 5 and you only had 3. Agree too is nice that the local games can be viewed with the ST games so that is nicer than DTV was. But was annoying that I couldn't pick the 4 games I wanted. I was able to send YTTV feedback on this, will be interesting to see if I hear anything back from them or is their feedback just a black hole?
