  1. Why would you want to trade a guy who's worth a 3rd round pick. I always laugh at these type of posts. This guys sucks, lets get rid of him, we can get a good pick for him! At this point and even prior to this year, I think more teams would question whether Davis's 4 TD playoff game was more of a fluke and not giving out a day two draft pick. Maybe could get a 5th or 6th for him. Add to that why trade a starter when the team has SB aspirations?
  2. Agree Giants were expected to be better, but is still rather funny that a 4:05 matchup likely is the better game. You Tube very happy, Fox not so sure. LOL
  3. 3 or 4 weeks ago, I read the same thing, but specific to defense players on IR. They were #1 then already. Many posters here like to say injuries aren't an excuse, but when 3 of your arguably top 5 defensive players are out, then add Oliver was out one game and still not 100% (nor is Groot) who would have made top 4 out of 5 and Miller is still a shell of a player he was a year ago at this time, it's no wonder the defense has struggled. The first 4 weeks everyone was praising the job McD did with the defense. Then the injuries happened which gave the haters a chance to be heard when the defense fell apart.
  4. I also went over, but agree the temper part could hurt him. I took the over mainly because offensive minded coaches always get a boost and overall the Bills offense stats are much better than many here like to give credit to. Admittedly the stats don't completely agree with the eye ball test. But ifthe team turns things around, could se him gettign some interviews. Was just reading an article this morning about issues in Carolina with Reich and the article mentioned that Dorsey had interviewed for that job, didn't remember that.
  5. Kind of sad that the best late afternoon game may be the 4:05 Lions- Chargers matchup as opposed to the two 4:25 "featured matchups" Fox must not be happy. Fortunately for them other than in the Detroit and LA areas, the rest of the county will be stuck with the 4:25 games unless you have ST to watch on. Admittedly NY and Dallas are big markets so that will help Fox some.
  6. Can't imagine who on the team he would have learned that from.
  7. No they compare Dabolls last 25 (2nd half of 2020 and all of 2021) to Dorseys first (and only) 25 They also took out a couple of games this year when the Bills offense looked real good like the Miami game and think it was the Raider game to compare just the Bills worst games against Dabolls stats and Dorsey still came out better in many categories. The problem is the eye ball test doesn't seem to agree with this article. HOWEVER after reading the article it may be that the offense isn't quite as bad as everyone here thinks. I also think the problem that stats don't show is the streaky-ness of the Bills offense both from game to game and even worse from drive to drive. Too many quarters they look terrible then get hot and up the build the stats.
  8. It still amazes me how many people and I'm talking national media types think the K gun was named for Kelly. Just read an article the other day we need to turn to the "A Gun"
  9. Could be how Krafts way to get rid of him without having to come out and fire him. BB elects to leave.
  10. There's a butcher by me that sells them. Was just looking at them the other day and all I could think was if this is the size of the oyster, how large was the rest that went with it?
  11. Maybe the difference was back then he had Beasley as the underneath outlet that he felt very comfortable with. Kincaid may be sliding into that role, but not quite there yet. Think to there's something either Allen feels this need to look for Diggs too often or Dorsey is designing the plays in such a way that it forces him to look for Diggs way to often.
  12. So I tore mine and recall the doc saying the thread they use to sew it back together is stronger than the actual tendon so not likely he tears the same one. But could tear the other one or pull hamstring or something else, much better chance of something like that happening. After my first one I kind of gave up on weekend sports as didn't want to risk tearing the other one and going through all that again. And I was younger than Rodgers even! LOL
  13. Why do you say that? Are you thinking if they finish in 2nd it changes who they play home and away? I thought so too but according to the site below, assuming it's correct it doesn't matter, they will play an AFC West team at home, if they were to finish in 2nd place, they won't play KC at all then assuming KC wins the west, but instead would play the AFC west 2nd place finisher in Buffalo, likely the Chargers. In 2025 they play the AFC West team in Buffalo again and in 2026 they explicitly play KC in Buffalo. So yes there may not be a home game against KC as may not play them at all, but won't play them in KC till the earliest 2027. https://fbschedules.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/
  14. To me this is the same as every April when the schedule first comes out, people start projecting records and what are easy and hard games. Like last year, LA and Tenn were considered tough ones. But every year there are teams that are expected to do well who do much worse (see 2023 Bills) and teams that unexpectedly do much better. To me it's the same with guessing # of wins needed. There will always be unexpected losses. Most years 9-7 mad the playoffs, some years even 8-8, think I even recall a couple of 7-9 teams making it. Think adding a 7th team would lower the number of wins needed too?? So IMO 10 is definitely enough based on history, if the poll had been if 9 wins would make it, would be a tougher call.
  15. Yes, the Bills had a total of 3 second round picks that year, one from the Mahomes trade, one from Sammy Watkins trade, plus their own. They then used 2 of the second round picks plus their own 1st round #12 which only became #12 after the swap with the Bengals to move up to #7 overall and grabbed Allen. They then used their last second rounder plus their own #22 pick to trade up to believe it was #16 to pick Edmunds.
  16. Agree Bengals were a train wreck for a long time, worse even the the Bills. Actually didn't Buffalo trade one of their tackles to the Bengals and allowed them to move up in draft. Was one of the picks indirectly used to get Allen. My post wasn't just referring to in season trades. I was more implying they may have traded off players for more picks to rebuild.
  17. The other thing that hurt the Bills is they were never quite the train wreck that the Bengals were. Going back to 2010 the Bills never won less than 6 games a year meanwhile the Bengals never won more than 6 games going back to 2015 so they had better draft picks for a few years prior. Prior to that the Bengals had a few good years so wouldn't also surprise me that they had made some "fire sale" trades in 2016 and 17 once they realized they sucked and acquired more draft picks. Chargers too were more up and down so had some better draft picks some years too.
  18. Keep in mind too this is television so in some ways could look better to show a shot of Allen sitting there seemingly lost all by himself, than intently reviewing things with Brady or someone else. They may be waiting to get shots of him alone.
  19. I've seen Brady sitting next to him many times or sometime K Allen. I'm curious as to how you apparently know what is just out of the viewpoint of the camera? How do you know that Brady isn't sitting maybe 12 inches away from him and the camera just zoomed in on Allen. I don't think the producers care about showing Brady, but they do want to show Allen. So we're all watching the same feed, but you my friend are assuming what may or may not be of the camera view.
  20. Sounds good except no idea if any of it's true. What happened the first 6 games of the season doesn't mean it will continue when Knox returns. Early on Kincaid struggled and still does though has seemed to improved with blocking compared to Knox so made sense to play Knox more early on. If Hockenson is so great, how come he got traded? The Lions received a 2nd and 3rd, but gave up a 4th and 5th in the deal, not exactly the return I'd expect for a "great" player. I looked this up recently, I believe every TE drafted prior to Knox that season has either been traded or cut. Hockenson is playing better than Knox, but he also was 1st round pick so should be. Knox it the 9th highest paid TE, by next season likely will drop further. Hockenson is #2 BTW making more than Kittle, Kelce, and Andrews
  21. Yeah think with Kincaid being the #1 TE Knox will become more of the blocking TE and chips out on blocks. Early in the season Kincaid wasn't doing much, but now with the way he's playing, defenses will need to cover him good so could mean more opportunities for Knox slipping out of backfield. Think the Bills ran it back one year too much. But can understand why they took the chance. Last three seasons were one of 4 last teams standing, then final 8 but without 13 seconds should again have been final 4 with AFc title game in Buffalo, then again final 8, but with many things happened through the year (shooting, Kim P, 2 blizzards, and then Hamlin) so can understand why they took the chance made some moves to improve and for the most part ran it back. Prior to the injuries on defense it appeared to be working. Last year Poyer was looking a bit old, but could attribute some of that to missing his running mate Hyde. In hindsight, that wasn't entirely the issue. To answer the original question, get rid or don't resign; White, Poyer, Hyde, Morse, Hines, Murray, Ford, Settle, Phillips, Davis, Norman, Jackson, Klein, Matakavich, & Shaq to name most. I'd then try ans sign extensions with Douglas, Rapp, Jones, and AJ though not sure they will be able to afford him. Get younger and cheaper, take a year to rebuild, by then Rodgers will likely be gone and Bengals, Ravens, Jets and Dolphins will all be in cap trouble.
  22. Is the problem Gabe can't get open, or for whatever reason Allen rarely looks his way, or the way the plays are drawn up by Dorsey makes it tough for Davis to ever be open? Last week he was involved a lot, this week, not.
  23. Not sure about a lot. I'm guessing on 1st downs and obvious running plays Joseph plays.
  24. Roster link https://twitter.com/BuffaloBillsPR/status/1721313968445137074/photo/1 Joseph and Douglas are playing
  25. The OP first states he's bringing his wife to the game, then he talks about hand warmers. It did make me wonder where he was going with this?
