  1. I just don't see it with the Browns. Yes Flacco is putting up some silly numbers but look at who they've played...a bunch of bad teams who are going in the wrong direction or have packed it in for the year. Texans also without Stroud who is making his case for MVP as a rookie since he's been out. And quite frankly the only remotely good team they've played during this Flacco thing they lost too (Rams). I honestly won't be surprised if the Browns are one and done in the playoffs since they will have to go on the road against an AFC South team who will likely have their QB healthy (Jags or Texans) unlike the previous matchups.
  2. Panthers nearly beat the Packers who have been playing much better football than the Jaguars as of late. Definitely could see the Jaguars free fall continue hear and it almost feels like the AFC South is there for the Texans if Stroud comes back healthy and plays the rest of the way.
  3. Love it. If this team can find a way into the playoffs and don't have any more serious injuries they have a real chance to do something special.
  4. I have a feeling it's coming and why they elevated him against the Chargers to get 'Playoff Lenny' ready for just that. Cook has been great but you can't trust him in big moments and McD knows that. Also I think Murray gets cut and put on practice squad to make room for Daquan Jones.
  5. Raiders played their superbowl against the Chiefs because they want Antonio Pierce to be the HC and I hope that happens for them but knowing Mark Davis he'll screw him over like they did Rich Buscatti to sign some unknown guy to a massive deal. Getting back to Mahomes though, I know it's easy to pile on but how many bad games has he had in his career compared to other top NFL QB's including our own JA17? You can't even really count on one hand because that's how rare it is. He's still the best QB in the league by far and you know Veach is going to remedy the situation in a major way in the offseason just like they did after 2020 when the entire offensive line was overhauled despite getting to the superbowl.
  6. Not going to lie holidays were intense year and I'm extremely paranoid and concerned about this game especially when you think about last year in the season finale and only winning because of 2 kick return TD's and what this same Patriots team did earlier in the year with Mac Jones. Hoodie is trying to go out on a high note in NE (and screwing them in the process by moving further away from a top draft pick) and that defense still legit scary right now. With that said, I can't imagine the Bills blow this at home where they've been significantly better this year unless we see a repeat of the Broncos game (who ironically the Patriots just beat in their building).
  7. Not counting QB, Pass rushers are still the most sought after piece in this league along with offensive lineman so I think AJE is long gone and going to get a monster deal even if he doesn't play again for the Bills this year and/or have any impact because of the injury.
  8. I've pondered this since Saturday night and while I still agree on the surface, they did win the game and kept season alive. But obvious reasons for concern heading forward: - The Patriots game won't be easy and I'm sick of these ridiculous Vegas lines. My guess game is too close for comfort until 4th quarter again before Bills pull away and play better at home and probably win by 7 - 9 points. - This team sucks on the road this year no matter what way you slice it with only one 'easy' win against a garbage commanders team that was closer than final score indicated until 4th quarter. So this is why I give serious pause to them winning in Miami next week, and in the playoffs which is something that McD/Allen have never done. - People keep raving about the oline, but they were terrible against the Chargers and again this is a trend on the road because they were also trash in KC (albeit against an elite defense/best in league). - As much as he's broke out this year, James Cook can't be trusted and I see that rearing it's ugly head in the playoffs too should the Bills get there. - I still think this team is closer to the one that was 5-5 in the first 10 games vs. what we've seen since Dorsey has been fired.
  9. When healthy they still have the best interior oline in the NFL, including the best center and future HOF in Creed Humphrey.
  10. They've won like 10 straight division titles and still pretty much a lock for division/playoffs. And honestly I wouldn't bury them just yet anyway because I still think that defense is truly elite and will be one of best ever in NFL history when it's all said and done, which is why they can still beat anybody and win another SB this year. But as much as a lot of us hate the Chiefs, you know that Brett Veach is going to rectify the situation in the offseason and bring in an elite #1 WR no matter what happens and how their season ends this year.
  11. I think it's a no brainer but only if Bills win against Patriots + Dolphins loss against Ravens this week IMO.
  12. Considering the Broncos are very much alive for the playoffs they are basically making the decision to move from Wilson now. Regardless I actually though he had a solid bounce back type of year and can't blame him for losing to the Patriots.
  13. I still think the Bills will be in control of their own destiny as soon Sunday night. Key obviously is the Dolphins, and while they are better than a lot of fans here want to give them credit for and could in fact beat the Cowboys this week...Does anyone really think they are going into Baltimore and winning especially if the Ravens might be coming off a loss to the 49ers this week? I just don't see it especially with how beat up they are up front on the oline. Also I think this scenario goes up in flames with the Jaguars too...they are frauds and I see no way they are going into Tampa without Lawrence to beat a red hot Bucs team in control of their division. And even if Lawrence plays he's not been very good anyway in recent weeks. I will say this though, regarding the Bengals I would actually be rooting for them to win out or at the very least knocking KC off along the way because that means they Chiefs will have to go to Buffalo in the playoffs if both finish 11-6 as division winners.
  14. Don't sleep on the Rams, they look like a true dark horse team right now. And remember this team won the superbowl 2 years ago with a lot of the same pieces. Will be interested to see what happens when they go to San Fran in the final week of the season.
  15. A couple of things... 1) Steelers are complete trash and not winning another game so forget about that this week. 2) Between the Browns and Bengals we have to accept one (maybe both) of them are getting into the playoffs as a WC. So if that's the case I'd rather root for Bengals for one key reason...winning at KC next week to hand them their 6th loss. Why? Because then KC has to go to Buffalo in the playoffs if both finish 11-6 as division winners. Also if Bengals win out they guarantee the Browns another loss which could matter for playoff purposes as well.
  16. For me it's still division title or bust because I see very little chance of this team winning 3 straight road playoff games to get to the SB because of of Mc/Allen history is such games. So to secure at least one home playoff game is huge for a number of reasons and I believe the Bills are still in play for as high as the #2 seed in the AFC right now should certain things happen (i.e. KC losing just one more game, AFC South winner finishing 10-7)
  17. I actually won't be surprised if another contender tries scooping up 'playoff lenny' from our PS soon. And if that happens, would Beane cut Johnson or Murray to keep him? Probably not.
  18. Houston is just a name at this point and if he goes anyway it's like to the Chiefs or Ravens practice squad.
  19. While this is great news, I would tap the brakes a bit in regards to expectations with Jones because realistically the earliest he might play again is the Miami game which we all know is shaping up as a 'win and your in' game for the Bills in terms of getting to the tourney. But after that it will likely take time to ramp up and any real impact from Jones likely won't be felt until the AFFCG or SB should this team get that far.
  20. This oline has played great in recent weeks with the exception of the Chiefs game in which they were terrible but obviously it didn't matter given the end result.
  21. Are people really worried about a bills letdown here? Let's be serious, this game will be over much quicker than the cowboys game. An interim lame duck coach isn't changing anything for the Chargers these last few weeks of the season.
  22. I've been a huge critic, and while I still have concerns about what happens come January should this team makes the playoffs, McD has responded in a major way as the SB hype will be in full force right now in regards to the Bills and what they are capable of.
  23. Sean McDermott.....not sure what else to say but put some respect on that MF'ing name!
