  1. Refs tried to come to the rescue for the Chiefs as usual. Still shocked they called that intentional grounding call on Mahomes...makes me think an official will get fired for that.
  2. Looking at the Bills right now, the way I see it is that this is an opportunity to steal back one of the bad losses from earlier this year (i.e. Patriots/Jets). You go and win a game against the best team in the NFL right now (record wise) and you head into the bye week at 7-5 with all the momentum in the world. It's almost akin to a road playoff game, but here's the problem with that....McD/Allen have never won one of those games so why would that change now? We'll see what happens but this would certainly be the biggest win of the McD/Allen should they be able to do it.
  3. Some thoughts after last nights game: - I thought the Chiefs were going to blow out the Eagles and looked like they were well on their way at halftime, but they are still the prohibitive AFC favorite and likely SB favorite because that defense is hands down #1 in NFL and historically going to be one of best of all time when it's said and done. - I think the Bills now have a decent shot of the upset next week because the Eagles are going to be somewhat emotionally/physically/mentally spent after this game. - I don't think this was a preview of the SB, one of these teams will fail to get there (likely the Eagles).
  4. Well overdue move but only problem is Steelers don't have Josh Allen on their roster.
  5. Best case is that Eagles go all in to avenge their superbowl loss last year and come into next week spent emotionally/physically/mentally so Bills have a shot at the upset. But in reality Andy Reid and Chiefs are always at their best coming out of the bye week and this is the time of year they take things to another level shades of all those Brady/Patriots teams and don't lose a game the rest of the way. Which is somewhat scary this time around with what a historically dominant defense and team that's virtually unscathed with major injuries like most years. Predicting a big time blowout Chiefs win tonight but would love to be wrong of course.
  6. At this point I would say yes if anything because Gabe Davis is all but gone from Buffalo after the season ends.
  7. Best possible news in terms of any chance of the Jets upsetting the Dolphins on a short week. Not to downplay the Bills big win but it was somewhat evident that the Jets defense finally quit yesterday once they knew the game was out of reach.
  8. Beane has been mostly horrible in the draft but really starting to look like Kincaid is truly his best pick in years. I was skeptical of this kid coming in and having a real impact as a rookie (especially with this coaching staff) but he's proven he's an elite talent. I think Torrance has shown well too even though he hasn't been a Creed Humphrey type of pick I was hoping for but that type of thing is obviously rare too unless you are a top 10 oline pick.
  9. With injuries piling up in the secondary this pass rush is going to have to be perfect the next 2 weeks and going forward.
  10. You might be right but the problem is the Chiefs and Eagles also play at that same level week after week and obviously Mahomes/Hurts truly make Zack Wilson look like the 3rd string caliber QB he is. I think tonight's game will be very telling on the Bills chances depending on what both the Eagles/Chiefs look like coming out of a bye. I expect the Chiefs to be dominant and send a message to the rest of the NFL which would be a bad omen in these next 2 games facing both an angry Eagles team coming off a loss to the team that beat them in the SB, and then the Chiefs who simply don't lose Nov/Dec games especially at home.
  11. Truly a masterful performance in all 3 phases against the jets and there's nothing really bad to say about the Bills (other than the gauntlet still ahead) coming off a very dominant performance against a top 5 NFL defense that has given pretty much every elite QB problems including JA17 previously. But I think for myself and everyone else still skeptical, this team has to split with the Chiefs and Eagles (at minimum) to truly believe the playoffs are a real possibility again. And that's where I'm still very apprehensive given how horrible this team has been on the road this year especially losing to these same Jets and Patriots. In their lone road victory against WFT they resembled the team they were yesterday and that has to be the norm going forward.
  12. Singletary isn't really a surprise because he's always been legit starting RB material but never got enough carries here to show it under both Daboll and Dorsey. Moss though is a bit surprising since he looked like trash here but sometimes that proverbial change of scenery helps.
  13. If the Bills make the playoffs this year pretty sure there's zero chance of McD going anywhere even if they are one and done and blown out in the process. But I still think that's a pipe dream because I don't see the Bills winning either of the next 2 games even if they played like they did yesterday which would mean 10-7 is best case and that's likely not getting it done for either wildcard or division title.
  14. This is what's going to truly haunt this team if by some miracle they do make some semblance of a run and fall short by a single game or lose out on tiebreakers when the dust settles the final week of the season.. Even if you want to make the assumption that Denver is hitting their stride with back to back wins against the Chiefs and Bills, they had the game won if not for an inexcusable 12 man on the field penalty. But there's zero excuse to not be any worse than 7-3 right now period.
  15. So apparently then must be saving 'playoff lenny' for something that's not going to happen. Talk about a true genius move by this organization!
  16. I have a problem with it because it adds credence to the whole theory that Mahomes is going to go down as the best player in pro sports/NFL history. Plus it doesn't help matters that their GM keeps drafting all pro superstars year after year while most NFL teams hope to just land serviceable starters. I was a Mahomes doubter since day one (if anything because I knew the Bills traded him to KC) but all this guy and team keeps doing is winning and they are set up to do something that no team has ever done and win 3 or more SB's in a row assuming they get a 2nd straight this year.
  17. You haven't been paying attention....now is the time of year they turn on the switch and are virtually unbeatable just like the Patriots and Brady teams of years past. Which is a scary thought considering how dominant that defense is already playing.
  18. Chiefs are literally going to cruise to another Lombardi and be first team to repeat since 03/04 Patriots. I mean seriously who is going to beat them in the AFC? I think they're going to blow out the Eagles too on MNF coming out of their bye to send a loud message to the rest of the league.
  19. So happy that many of your finally understand the situation and that this moron needed to go after 13 seconds because you simply don't come back from that and it's very possible it broke Josh Allen as well after playing the game of his career only to let horrendous coaching ***** defeat from the jaws of victory. And speaking of Allen, it's likely going to be up to him to go directly to Terry Pegula and say that he needs to be fired (assuming Pegula doesn't care about the extension in the first place and will already be inclined to pull that trigger). Because at this point the only other (harsh) reality is that Josh Allen simply doesn't like playing football anymore and is already looking at life beyond his pro football career but that would raise a whole other set of issues like how to get out his massive $250M that coincidentally starts to kick in 2024.
  20. I say yes but this is based on the assumption that the Texans are going to continue to come on strong and make the playoffs this year with a dynamic rookie QB. But even if they ultimately fall short, it's hard to say future isn't brighter than Buffalo's considering Stroud's emergence and they still have tons of draft picks, cap room and a young up and coming head coach. They are going to be a major factor in the AFC for years to come.
  21. Won't be for long though because someone has to win between Bills/Jets and I think Miami is primed for a serious run coming off their bye week with a pretty favorable schedule coming up and Fangio's defense starting to come together.
  22. Well so much for the Bengals making their usual 2nd half run because if Burrow has a long term injury their season is pretty much now over. Also sucks for the Ravens losing one of their big pieces and top 5 NFL TE for the season. Meanwhile in KC the Chiefs continue to remain unscathed with any serious injuries and their path to another Lombardi becomes even easier, not that there was every any doubt to begin with.
  23. Jets 31 Bills 9 Team officially quits on McDummy, and unlike the Bills attempts with (2) 'players only meeting' the Jets own efforts at this earlier this week gives them the spark they need as Zack Wilson and the offense finally explode after 3 weeks of futility and Jets defense forces multiple turnovers again.
  24. I don't care what Frazier is saying publicly, but if he really did up and decide to leave on his own 2 things: 1) He screwed this team on the timing because all the viable DC replacements were already off the market. McD/Beane can use this as a built in excuse for this teams failures. 2) It also speaks to McD not playing nice with others and coaches who aren't spineless jellyfish not wanting to work for him anymore.
  25. I think this is almost a must win for the Bengals similar to the Bills/Broncos. Ravens will also be facing tremendous pressure to respond after a Bills like meltdown against the Browns in a game they had in hand and still believe in them a bit more based on what they did some other contenders in recent weeks. If I was a bettor though wouldn't touch this game because it's a true toss up especially on short week and won't be shocked no matter who wins unless it's a lopsided blowout.
