  2. the old rule that it takes a full season to recover from an ACL is again being proven. He won't be much of a factor until next season (or perhaps after the bye, in the best case) . Is what it is. Beane made the big move and due to injury, it probably won't work out.
  3. can't fit either of them under the cap. next.
  4. Yeah, offense will need to step it up as Tampa will be scoring some points tomorrow night.
  5. Diggs needs to realize teams are taking him out of the game with double coverage. He needs to accept the likely fact that he isn't getting 15 targets per game anymore but he is allowing the others to be single covered mismatches, on balance good for the team. You don't get to be "debbie-diva-throw-me-the-ball dammit" .. when you are doubled the entire game.
  6. I agree . the all blues and all reds look amazing under the lights. daytime game? no way. under the lights ? absolutely. those reds for the Giants game were fantastic
  7. smart of Titans to dump the huge contract... they are now officially in tank mode
  8. wow the flamethrowers are really out today....
  9. missed the 4qtr. looks like kind of mess. looks like the flamers are out!
  10. McFadden's closed a couple years ago, the NYC Bills Backers club now meets at Penn 6, 132 W 31st St. https://www.nycbbb.com/ NYC Bills Backer is large, pretty well organized group. They go at it pretty hard on game days.
  11. nah, after manning and luck, they have several more years of QB purgatory to endure. sorry
  12. If you are key employee of a company, you get stock options. That's the way it works in corporate America in good companies that know what they are doing. It's a very very small %, less than 1%; I like it bc then you trade it off for a lower salary and cap hit. An interesting edea, Everyone is happy, team has a much lower cap hit and a lower salary , employee is more bought in bc the the better he plays, the more valuable the franchise becomes (in theory) and the higher the leagues ad revenue, which finds its way back the team and all players. I like it, esp for player second contracts where lowering the cap hit is really important.
  13. yeah, what are posters talking about? Hardman did a number on the Bills
  14. wow, was unaware of this one. yeah looks very very dangerous after watching the Poyer mic'd up clip, its amazing there aren't even more injuries. this game really is a collision game.
  15. man you can FEEL the hits.. boy the hits didn't sound like that playing HS ball I'll tell you that. those guys are colliding all night. wow, the mic really picked up the hitting this time. wow.
  16. Bernard was leading the defense on the field before Milano went down. Milano was listening to Bernard, not the other way around.
  17. I'm still wallowing in the fact that this team is competitive every week against anyone. Just a great vibe
  18. Yeah the game kind of sucked for everyone who saw it or was involved with it. No one happy after that one. So I wouldn't read too much into anything.
  19. How do you think Philly made it to the SB? Least injured team in the league last year. Injuries matter big time in the NFL. "Next man up" is garbage.
  20. Taron Johnson is the 3rd LB. His value in coverage is more valuable than leadfoot Dodson would be in run defense. Thats essentially it. Johnson basically saved the Giants game on the last play; ole' leadfoot Dodson would still be stuck on the line stunned by the play action. Lets not start these kinds of threads anymore.
  21. Yeah, the Gabe haters won't need to worry about him as he won't be signed. Draft is deep at WR this so I'm sure Beane will keep the $12-15m and draft a guy.
  22. Interested to see how Poona Ford and D Williams do. Can't predict anything right now as we haven't seen them play. My understanding is that Ford is starter-quality and that Dorian W is liked by the coaching staff. Beyond that, none of us know much of anything, making predictions impossible. Today's NFL is an offense-first league, so I don't spend much time thinking about defense. D doesn't matter against the top 5 teams... you better be scoring 30+ against those teams.
  23. now there's the right approach
