Houston - a young team to keep an eye on
ProcessTruster replied to Dubie54's topic in The Stadium Wall
Weak division and easiest schedule in the league. Love watching CJ get it done, though. super fun. Kid can play a little for sure. Let 'em win the division and lets see how they do next year when they have a real schedule of opponents. -
must be nice coaching offense against NFC North and AFC West defenses. I think I could do that. But hey, if it gets Ben Johnson a $8m/yr HC gig, you go get it son. Strike while the iron is hot.

pricey seats and PSLs are going to be an issue in any scenario, bad or good. I can see the lower bowl of the new stadium being a lot like the Sabres arena for Leafs games, 50% opposing team fans. Longtime lower bowl HighMark season tikt holders will pay for the PSLs and seat prices, then turn around and sell half the season for $500 per seat to cover their costs (at least some of them) just as they do to a more limited extent today . Go to 3-5 games per year (Phins, playoff and other marquee NFC game)s and sell the rest to the opposition. It's going to happen. they'll be calling it "Sofi-East Stadium". You are already seeing it around the NFL.. so many retirees travelling to away games more and more. Vegas, Miami, Sofi (of course the leader), Nashville. Hard to tell who the home team is. a little sad I think. I was at the Bills / Commanders here last month and 50% of the lower bowl was red, white and blue, which was cool for a bills fan, but a little sad that local ticket holders are dumping to cover their outrageous season tkt prices. I think Pegs caved to the League a few years too soon with the new stadium. Maybe its just me. Maybe the PSLs and game tkts won't be as expensive as some other places. Can't tell right now. Maybe Pegs can run his own tkt resale operation and only sell to NY addresses. or something

Josh Allen Fined for the Taunting Penalty
ProcessTruster replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
i think he just wants some kind of Bobby Knight lunatic for HC. Ditka, Belechick, a crazy disconnected nut like that to coach 20-somethings. good luck with that -
Cover 2 all game'll do that to ya, like it does to all the big play teams. Defenses don't allow the chunk plays to the Bills any more. Hell, now defenses are baiting Josh into trying the Gabe Davis - ish 25 yard sideline throw , then drop the LB or Corner at the last minute and make the pick, as happened in Foxboro and Cincinnati. Fans were warned to enjoy it while they could, bc Defenses eventually would take a page out of Lesley Fraziers book and play deep cover 2 all game, pen Josh in the pocket and make the Bills dink and dunk on 15 play drives. That's the world we live in now. Hey, Cinci and KC are living that life and doing just fine, thanks. Sure Tim G, we all see it, nothing you can say is anything new. The Bills D is a injury riddled disaster, everyone is playing deep cover 2 and, yeah , Dorsey is getting more careful on offense due to both factors. Seems pretty f ing smart to me. Not as fun for the fan, sure, but hey, the NHL was a way better watch before everyone implemented the neutral zone trap as soon as they got a lead, too. Coaches get paid to play defense, too.

The Rise of the Two High Shell & Its Impact on the Bills
ProcessTruster replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall
agreed. Jacque Lemaire ruined the NHL product forever when he won a ton of the most boring games in hockey history in NJ with the neutral zone trap all those years. The only way to watch the NHL now between trap and non trap teams is to hope the non trap team scores the first goal. If the trap heavy team scores the first goal, immediately go watch some other game -
Ben Solak (The Ringer) Analysis of Josh's Decisions this Year
ProcessTruster replied to JohnRVA's topic in The Stadium Wall
I must agree. He singlehandedly gave both the Bengals and the Pats early advantages in those game with those horrible 1st Qtr picks where the D dropped under the route and succesfully baited sugar high Josh to make the deeper throw. The problem this year is the D is so depleted without 4 probowlers that it cannot compensate as well. But I'd rather ride agressive Josh and bet he grows and resists getting baited into INTs the rest of the season. We'll see. -
love the OC (Johnson) in Detroit, but then he would need to be HC and then you must blow up the entire coaching staff and roster in the process, and that is not worth it

Blue on Blue for Monday Night Football
ProcessTruster replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
if this one is a loss, I can't even imagine what this board will do. I may need to stay away until January. -
was watching with my boo-hoo the bills stink now daughter and said " now those are two teams that stink" "be careful how judgemental you are with the Bills" went to bed after the 1st quarter, man that was bad

maybe someone already posted this ( don't have time to read all the posts) , but Kincaid had like 2 drops and 126 catches for his entire college career, less than 2%. that is amazing.

and go through 8-8 for 3 years of scheme changes and the roster cuts and rebuilds that go with them? Nah. This team is banged up on D and slow rolling it on O to keep the D off the field. weird and questionable, but seems to be partial explanation for what is happening. yet another knee jerk reaction to a loss from this board. All will be forgotten and you'll all be singin the praises next Tuesday like you always do after a win.

Cover 1 breakdown of the Dorsey offense
ProcessTruster replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
yeah but the Cover 1 kid, whatever his name is, couldn't heap enough praise on Dorsey after the Bucs game... go watch that youtube, he makes the offense out to be truly inspired. its a "wadda done for me lately" league If they lose to the Broncos on monday night, then its time to think about things a bit, not now -
you better hope your eyes are decieving you, cuz we ridin that horse for many years to come
-
sigh, as a supporter of the McBeane long term process approach, I do need to remind myself to avoid this board after a loss
-
Fire Dorsey and you are throwing the season away when the division is still there to be had . What a stupid thing to suggest.
-
Sure. Bring back the punt g-d!

McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense
ProcessTruster replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
do you think it makes sense to rebuild again with a new coaching staff? Burn 2-3 seasons changing out the roster to fit brand new schemes on offense and defense? I waited too long for a truly competitive team. Don't blow it up over a few sideways away games against top teams. -
McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense
ProcessTruster replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
That could be, actually, that crowd was crazy loud; but McD isn't going to say that as it might get out and incite the next away game crowd. Who knows. Lets see if they go back to it at home on Sunday. -
Poll: Top reason for the Offense's underperformance
ProcessTruster replied to Fan in Chicago's topic in The Stadium Wall
boy, from the looks of this board the 12 packs went down pretty hard last night. lighten up boys, we'll be 7-4 in a couple weeks and the sun will come back out for everyone if Dorsey really is the issue (and there is no way for a fan to know.. hell we don't know the play calls, the checks , etc) he'll get his due in a couple months, no worries there -
We are now the worst defense in the league
ProcessTruster replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
didn't see most of the game but Cinci scored, what, 24 points? plus had 2 turnovers to work with. seems the D did pretty well. sounds to me like the other side of the ball had a bad night
