  1. pretty much a waste of time. for all the Devin Hesters of the world , the fans never see the dozens of career ending and/or life changing injuries under the old blocking wedge and wedge busters of the past. the athletes are so much bigger and faster than 30 years ago, the high speed head end car crash stuff unfortunately needs to go away
  2. Yeah we know what that was like... ... for about 20years...
  3. Our QB is a dart thower. I'll take that.
  4. Great. I'll have the secret Bills fan decoder shirt on, with a big circle "O" on the back with the word "Wagons" above it. This is how I ferret out the closet Bills fans.. if you know what that stands for, you are a Bills fan. Works every time. See you all there, Esp. Karlos in 117
  5. what hotel? we will be in front of you in your section 117 , but 2 rows from the field on the end of the midfield end of the row. we will be prob the two tallest guys in the row. will need to be prob can't see anything. what's cool about these games (at least in the Meadowlands) is if the Bills are winning at the end, all the Bills fans pile up behind the bills bench and party at the end of the game. lets' hope that happens
  6. Anyone going to the game tomorrow? My son and I will be goal line, Bills side, tunnel end row 2. They are called the "Dream Seats" whatever the heck that means. For what I paid, they better be a dream. i guess you can order drinks/food and they bring them to you. I'll report back on how that works (or doesn't). Plus everyone has to pre-pay for a specific parking spot. Crazy. You don't want to know what that just cost me. Now I know why I haven't paid to go to Fedex in the 30+ years I've lived here. I remember back in the day walking up to a ticket booth at Rich Stadium and buying decent tkts an hour before game time. Paying a guy $10 to park in his yard. Whatever happened to that? Go Bills!!
  7. cutting off beer sales at the half has backfired as the 5,000 a holes get even more blasted b4 the game even starts and the crazy stuff happens from the opening kickoff. In the old days we'd all get drunk at the same pace together...
  8. 5 years later and I am still wallowing in the success of this franchise with the new leadership. After 20 years of unmitigated suck, this is just great. go bills
  9. Yep, McBeans killed it again with making that pick and staying patient with the kid. Now's the payoff, just like Knox, Benford, Allen and a host of others
  10. Yeah the in stadium experience pretty much sucks these days. NFL games are just an excuse to get completely hammered for 5-10 guys in every section of the lower bowl of every stadium every game . and they wreck it for everyone else in the section. they stand the entire game, hootin and hollerin trash and anyone under 6 feet tall can't watch the game and have to watch the idiocy for 3-4 hours. it just sucks. Personally, I don't care bc I'm 6'4", 225 and don't give a crap what anyone does, but just ruins it; I end up having to stand and then that's it for anyone behind me. And it they are fans of the other team, fuggedabadit
  11. Another great Beane draft choice that everyone on this board has been sh-t-ng on for 18 months.
  12. and Benford his best... we got the CB2 we were looking for. nuf said
  13. He'll be fine. Kelly was a risk taking gunslinger as well and that team turned out ok.
  14. I live in the DC area (grew up in Cheektovegas), and can say you will see as much Bills gear as skins gear, there are that many ex WNYers here. YOu'll be fine. My crew will probably grab tickets last minute as everyone is so down on the 'skins its almost like buying tkts in B lo during the drought. Weather will be fabulous here then as well.
  15. If I want a bunch of checkdowns, I can go watch any of 29 other NFL QBs. After 20 years of solid suck , I come for the Josh Allen show. I want to see something I can't see anywhere else. That is what Josh brings. Just my opinion.
  16. Single elimination tournament. Anything can happen in a single elim. tourney. One bad day/bunch of guys out/etc /etc. you lose and your out. As Steve Tasker says, you need to play well on THAT day (ie the day of a tournament game). You can be the best in the league statistically , but if you don't win on that day against that team, you are out. NFL playoffs are kind of a "made for TV ratings " bull#### format where the best team can easily not win the title. Regular season standings should count for a heck of a lot more but they don't in the American sports leagues
  17. He'll be back once healthy. Just a roster move to free up a p squad spot for the new guy. anyone know what happened to his elbow?
  18. or give you more than a 5th. he's a very good player and is playing well. Benford simply played better. Can't have enough CBs . Its a long season. Keep him
  19. white t shirt dude got destroyed. omg
  20. whatever you say, champ. Frankly, I'm fine with drafting offense over defense any day. Defense doesn't matter much at the highest levels of the NFL competition anyway. The way the rules are today, you either outscore your opponent or you lose. Nah, just go score 40 a game.
  21. Lions overdrafting Jack Campbell at #18 overall did not help. Was pretty sure he would fall to the Bills, perhaps even in the 2nd round, but not even close. No other starter prospects in the draft this year. Kincaid will be very good though. Bernard will probably be the guy, they are just making sure his hammy is fully healed before putting him out there for an entire season. Just my sense. Who knows. Maybe Rapp plays the position.
  22. Do WRs/TEs ever come back fully from achilles injuries? I can't think of one.
  23. yep, bills are loaded at safety, plus Neal, Lewis, Anderson are very strong on special teams. With the loss of all the outside gunners from last year, seems you better be strong on ST to stick on the roster as a 4th or 5th stringer at LB, DB or WR. Doesn't look great for Damar. He'll get picked up by another team. He wouldn't have even seen the field last year but for all the injuries. Maybe the good lord wants him to go run his loaded foundation and do good that way. Not a bad fallback position.
