  1. I hear he comes to this board, reads it and then does the opposite. Good strategy.
  2. Plus everyone forgets that G-d awful Josh 4th Qtr pick on his own 24 that set up the Philly short field go-ahead touchdown. Totally swung all the momentum of the game. No way he should have thrown that; look at the replay: that one is on Josh. I could argue Josh lost the game right there. But hey, Josh is amazing and lets fire the entire coaching staff bc we lost. Fans are morons.
  3. can't deliver what? the team has won 2+ out of every 3 games over six years, not sure what you want from the McBeanes. SB is a crapshoot single elimination tournament geared for max media ad $$. Not exactly a complete reflection of accomplishment, just ID's the best, healthiest and sometimes luckiest team left standing after a 4 month war of attrition. The Bills played a top 5 team in their house, in the worst possible fan / weather conditions and basically had them beat, save for a few plays that could have gone either way. We crush them playing that way at the Ralph. That performance is bc of McBeanes ability to consistently field a highly competitive roster and execute under extreme conditions. good enough for me. the wins will come if they keep doing what they did on Sunday With Chargers/Phins on warm, fast tracks, Cowboys at home in the cold/snow , Pats in full retreat, and two weeks to prep/heal for KC, decent chance they run the table from here on out , Then you'll all want him for coach of the year 6 -7weeks from now. Fans are subject to frequent bouts of insanity. I guess that's why they are called "fanatics" . And they all show up here.
  4. Addressing raging lunatic fans' call for the HC's head after every loss is the last thing Pegs is spending time on. I have to believe he is focussed on doing everything in his power to assist in his wife's recovery; he is letting Adams/Granato and Beane/McD run the teams for the foreseeable future. This crazy board is the same after every loss ; if this board was listened to, the team would have a new HC after every loss.
  5. Remember, if McD goes, the entire staff, including Joe Brady is released by the new HC as well. This isn't fantasy football, they come in pieces but go out as a group in the vast majority of cases. McD probably needs to hire a DC and get himself a (new?) clock or game management assistant, that's all. Must be pretty wild down there in real time on the sidelines on the road in a high pressure situation. I'd want some advice in my ear.
  6. yes the memory of 13 seconds probably should have been enough muscle memory to keep the timeouts and work the 20 seconds. agree. I don't think it will happen. Pegs is nursing his wife back to health. I'm sure that's about all he's been thinking for many, many months, with good reason. I could be wrong, but he's leaving the team to the McBeanes for the foreseeable futue, which means they ain't goin anywhere. Given how they executed for much of the game, running the table from here on out is a real possibility. Hang in there, fanatics. This ain't over just yet.
  7. They played well. The offense did what it needed to do, score a lot of points. The D is weakened, but almost got it done. The refs completely sucked, and I rarely get on the refs. If they play like that for 5 weeks , they can certainly win them all.
  8. a rash of injuries the key pro bowl players, that's how on earth. pretty simple actually
  9. in addition Von Miller is effectively gone for the season as well. I have no idea what he is doing out there now.
  10. I'd scratch him until he's ready to go. It is what it is. He can't play with that crazy brace on.
  11. and he correctly pronounced "Buffalo" with the appropriate two syllables. well done.
  12. yeah, enough of this media narrative that the Bills can't run the ball.
  13. and he played it like a fiddle here, taking his exit $$ instead of betting the new owner wouldn't replace him (which they always do)... much respect for Doug Marrone .. that is one smart operator. smart guy
  14. winning the division outright seems the only way. Phins have Jets 2x twice (no qb) Commanders (rookie qb) Titans (really rookie qb) Cowboys Ravens Bills If Bills go 3-2 and Phins go 3-3 , then it all comes down to week 18 in Miami. They need to lose one lousy game between the Jets, Titans or Ravens. This seems the only path, unless Bills run the table (which they won't)
  15. yeah, level headed this group is not
  16. so if McD goes , then Beane goes as well, which clears the house top to bottom. then a complete restart, roster changeout and suck for 2-3 years. thats the way it works in the NFL. You willing to go through that in Josh's best years simply bc you dislike McD? Be careful what you wish for.
  17. Bills will need to take care of the fish themselves. Week 18.
  18. nice to see the win. period. no one get hurt now , pls
  19. I heard that loud and clear brother. I lucked into the #1 pick in my full PPR, 18 player roster fantasy draft and took Jefferson of course. Things have turned out incredibly badly; can't replace him and WRs are the key piece in this league. Awful.
  20. He's the reason we win and the reason we lose most games and since we win 2 out of 3 games, its all good.
  21. pretty sure Brady won't be having time to be making any big changes until over the bye week.
  22. 17 is a lot more responsible for the teams current position than fans are willing to admit. that is clear from this board
  23. From everything everyone has read and heard , McBeanes are 110% a package deal. No piece-parting this group. This is not plug and play fantasy football, if McD goes , history shows that the entire front office and coaching staff pretty much go as well, and 5 years of staff and roster re-tooling suck will ensue. If that's what you want after 2 weird losses, you need to re-examine your fandom . Why would you want to blow the whole thing up after a slew of key injuries and at 5-5 ? Just because your tailgate 12 pack went down a little sour for a couple weeks? Are Cinci fans calling for heads now that they've lost a couple in a row, one to Houston? JA is exciting to watch, etc, but after 5 years and miles of tape study, D coordinators have figured out the superman routine and now he needs to decide to play like Burrow, Rodgers, etc. ie, like a fully functioning NFL QB. If he can't, then its on 17, and no coaching change will change that. Come on, people
