  1. Palmer, Samuel and Moore will be healthy post-'Phins and then off we go with that group. Bills would have needed to give a 3rd and a 4th for Shaheed. Beane was wise not to do that when he has Palmer, Samuel and Moore available and under contract. Keon will see his snaps reduced once Palmer is back and that is that. Trust the Process. Mc Beanes know what they are doing. They know the Jones, Palmer et al return timelines better than any of us do. Plus there is no cap space for any of the big names. We have the roster; just need to get it off. IR and back on the field. Go Bills.
  2. ah, it just wouldn't be a week in TBD-land without the obligatory "fire McD, etc, etc" thread. I'm headed to the golf course, you guys carry on with this... cheers
  3. no one cares in the least about this game
  4. When you're the fastest guy on the field, you can say whatever you want. go bills.
  5. No, the average Joe six pack Bills fan has no idea how the league really works. And they don't really care. Ignorance is bliss. I guess....
  6. It would seem Chiefs have too many weapons this time. Bills don't have the personnel any more to cover them all. If Bills can run the ball and the clock while scoring TDs, they can win. If Mahomes lights up the weak Bills back 7 and they get a quick 14-O or so lead, then the whole thing pretty much falls apart. But everyone was predicting a Chiefs win in the regular season last year and the Bills pulled it out, so who knows?
  7. he just kept wiping out his own guys.... geez
  8. Pretty sure Mahomes lights up the Bills D this week. Hairston/Benford/Bosa would need to be excellent in man coverage / pass rush all game for that not to happen.
  9. Bills will be fine. Roster starting to get healthy at the right time. Most of the pieces are back and the rest are on the way. Losing Oliver is not that big a deal.
  10. Fair enough, but once teams saw Josh taking off against man and killing them and beating them deep accurately, everyone went deep shell and all that went away. Plus Emmanuel Sanders, Cole Beasley and John Brown are all gone. Tough guys to replace not that resigning just a half a dozen select players (Josh, etc) put you over the cap for the first time in 20 years. The Pats are basically replaying the Bills script from 2020 on, cheap stars on rookie contracts allowing over priced but effective FA signings that the Bills can no longer afford (Diggs, etc). Together with playing a last place schedule, the Pats are the Bills circa 2018- 2019.
  11. two deep shell zone secondaries took most of this stuff away years ago. , but yes, I remember.
  12. It's a young man's game, and the Bills rolled out some youth yesterday. Beane nailed the draft and FA, we are just now getting a first glimpse of what he accomplished. Ed Oliver being out is sort of a "whatever" to me. Was never a huge fan.
  13. Josh would put his arm around him and straighten things out. Lets go Beane. Kid's on a rookie contract and you have picks and D Line bodies to burn.
  14. yes that would be a great one. I'd be curious who the Bills traded away to make space under the cap for Olave though
  15. Its pretty simple so far this year. Multiple Injuries to key D players plus the 6 weeks lost to the suspensions of the top two FA signings.
  16. What, are we now firing the owner bc he/she hired the wrong coach?
  17. If more teams copy what Atl did (play man on our WRs and rush 5 or 6 most downs) thinking this is (and it is) the way to stop the passing game, ten yes, time for Josh to break the pocket and take off more. Just as he did in the early years before teams switched to the deep zone coverage (and thereby took both the long ball and Josh scrambles away-- which forced the Bills to become more of a running, ball control team).
  18. Could be. Hard to say until more of the starting roster is actually on the damn field and playing.
  19. when I see Milano, Max, Benford, Hoecht, Oganjobi (sp?) and Oliver on the field at the same time, that's when I start thinking on how far this team can go. kind of speculative/silly to think about it until then.
  20. he is so bad with the Cowboys. man.
  21. Russ is washed. Dart is a breath of fresh air for the NFL. Breathe it in, man. The kid is a blast to watch. Just like 17 was before his coaches shut him down and made him be a Manning.
  22. I'd like to see the whining fanbase shut the f up and get on with the season. They'll be fine. Lotta season left.
  23. Putting aside the turnovers, which pretty much decided the game, in general it looks like the Pats are back. They look good.
