agreed. but trading up to 22 or earlier to get him would have cost Beane a lot. in 20/20 hindsight, of course it may have been worth it. We'll see how Coleman does this year;

Keon Coleman success by route - Not pretty
ProcessTruster replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lets see how he does this season. BTW, I know this is a "Beane sucks" OP, but the McConkey-led Chargers were pretty much hot garbage last season as well. -
so I guess he will be retired or cut by year end?

What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?
ProcessTruster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
ah yes, fair enough, forgot about that really smart draft trade deal. so they could win a few this, help Stafanski keep his job (not a good idea IMO), and get a QB. I stand corrected. -
What’s the deal with Winston and Cousins?
ProcessTruster replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
they are quietly tanking for next years QB draft. IMHO. If they pay a bundle for Cousins or whoever, hell they'll be out 40mil , win a few and screw it all up. Drafting the franchise guy is what its all about in the NFL. Will the coaching staff all get fired in the process for losing 13 games? Yep. But thats the cost of doing business. An example of a team that is screwing it up is Cleveland; they are trying to win games. The Saints are playing it beautifully now that Carr is retiring. Tank and grab Archie Manning's grandson... what a story that will be. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
ProcessTruster replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
exactly, why have seats anyway? -
that would actually be an amazing result. if you are going to tank for a QB, this is the year to do it, with the strength of next years QB draft class. timing is everything

don't really care. we are set at WR. so, whatever. we are trying to get faster with guys who can seperate; Gabe can't do either

Who’s your defensive surprise of the year?
ProcessTruster replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bosa. Other than him, the D is no more productive than last year (which was very productive in turnovers, etc) -
Nice here in the DMV that time of year. Spring has sprung by then. Big lift for DC, that many people coming in. Should be fun. In all honesty, we all know that the weather in WNY in mid April is mainly dreadful. To have a big open air event at that time would invite comparisons to the Blizzard of '77. Please don't. The Bills are finally lifting the areas rep , let's not trash it again with a rain soaked, 50 deg 3 day outdoor event. Just sayin

What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
ProcessTruster replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Flutie game against Jacksonville. What an electric, completely unexpected ending. -
This board spends way too much time agonizing over the tournament. Eg. the win against the Chiefs last year was absolutely fabulous, one for the ages. All but forgotten now; all this board can reflect on is 13 seconds or "getting over the hump" or McD sucks.. etc. The Mafia are becoming just like the old Pats " call me when the playoffs start..." fans:

ProcessTruster replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall

Big Badazz Beane on Pat McAfee today
ProcessTruster replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
but the fans and media started it all by being complete babies using the non-existent WR "issue" to create content for themselves. so there... -
Remember the Run ‘n Shoot Offense?
ProcessTruster replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
two high shell takes it away. the Sanders/Beasley/Brown days are over people. 2020 was a long time ago. fun while it lasted when everyone thought Josh sucked. That is no longer the case. and they still led the league is scoring. hope the bills win a SB so everyone will stop wishing on a 2020 repeat F-G-S. its getting old move on . -
yeah the wavy roof was bc is was built for baseball for the Washington Senators. Kind of like the old Rockpile in BLo. re: the DC mayor, she will become irrelevant and the feds will hopefully (finally) take over the governance of DC and fix it.

Well.... I moved here from WNY in the 80's, been in both stadiums. Lots of history and politics wrapped around all of this stadium stuff and what resulted in Fedex field being in the middle of nowhere. Won't bore with that. RFK is/was a baseball-only stadium barely retrofitted each year for football. All kinds of nostalgia here amongst the locals, but the place was largely a dump ( doing the jumping up and down on the end zone temporary gen admission bleachers was a slice, though). Fedex field has about 30k good seats and the rest are in outer space, so good riddance to it. Impossible to get into and out of, just bad. The RFK site is about as good as it will get; solid mass transit access, equally accessible from DC, Md and Va , etc. Most of DC is gentrifying pretty rapidly and the RFK neighborhood will not be an exception. DC government is about as incompetent as it gets, so I'll believe it when it gets built. But the site is a good one for many reasons. We shall see.

Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
ProcessTruster replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills play against zone a great deal, limiting the deep ball. So not sure a speed guy adds a lot. Once the league saw Josh take off and gash them against man (2019,2020) , they went zone. Not sure that will change much. Zone limits the value of a speed guy. Bills seem to have decided they need to play more man to enable rush to get there with only above average talent In order to play man, you need guys like Max and Benford who can track every route on their own Bills are tight on the cap , therefore need lots of top 150 draft picks to fill in when the D Jones of the world head out at year end Therefore you don't trade up for a speed guy WR (bc they won't add much), you go get fast man-to-man corners and big D line rush guys This really isn't that hard to understand. Defenses have gotten smaller over time to defend the pass .... and teams on now running on them. Bills are no different. We all loved the go-go 2020 offense, but the league has largely took that away with cover 2 zone, so the fan base needs to let it go and move on. In fact, defenses are now switching again to playing man against the Bills, so a seperator like Palmer is a great add. I am not disturbed much by the OP. -
This franchise has a great thing, a truly great thing going, and they would bring a complete a-hole like him in? If you're are going to bring that cancer in, While you're at it, just bust Aaron Hernandez out of the pen and get rid of Kincaid. Insanity.

super smart by the Browns, now they have enough draft capital (two 1s) next year to grab a top QB they want next year in what will be a QB-rich draft. This draft completely sucked for QBs so, the trade back to get more picks this year and that added #1 next year is probably the best move of the night.
