I agree with you about James Cook. He's a very good running back in the NFL but benefits from a superb offensive line and the threat of Josh passing.

Roster Construction?? I think McD had most of the say as to who was drafted and picked up as free-agents. McD was hired first with a promise of roster control. Then Beane was hired to run the financial aspects of the team - salary cap - and to establish scouts for the draft. Finally everything collapsed this season with injuries and lack of depth talent. Poyer, Hyde, White and more were called back by McD to his comfort zone.

I agree that this was the easiest road to the SB. Mediocre teams with mediocre QB's.

I never believed Herbert was much special! Rookie QB's on the West Coast always get a great build-up.

Walker was outstanding as a rookie without much veteran help to guide him! Great pick!

I have to agree about our new Highmark stadium. It has priced out so many local fans who want to go to a game or two during a season. That's what they can afford as a family outing. I believe they days of taking kids to a Bills game is over.
