The worst thing he ever did was have that stupid mustache.

Van Noy is a decent player. He'll find a team.
-
He has made a TON of money. Good for him. But he is definately not mediocre. He has top 10 stats. He isn't elite because he doesn't have that clutch gene or the ability to put the team on his back in key situations, but he throws for a lot of yards and TD's and he is an efficient passer. People have been saying that ever since QB's were making $10 million a year. Wasn't true then and it isn't true now.
-
And the Week 17 game against the Dolphins. He was dominant and efficient in that game.

Everything we see from Allen today was present in his game as a rookie. He just has gotten much more consistent, better at reading defenses, able to rise to big moments better, etc. The narrative that Josh Allen has ever sucked at the NFL level is, and always has been, untrue. What makes him so exciting today was still true his rookie year.

You know you must suck when you have to go to Mexico to play football...

Why are you piling on a random, undrafted player who is just trying to make a living playing the sport he loves? Good for him. Someone is willing to pay him to play football.- 36 replies

He IS currently under contract with the Bills until the new league year. The Bills DO have exclusive rights to him until the new league year. He DOES NOT have any right whatsoever to test the market right now, until the new league year and his contract is up (except the two day legal tampering period, that is). This is basic stuff.

The Bills should be doing whatever they possibly can to win now, and that means bringing in whatever free agents you need to make that happen. But, the Bills aren't loaded with cap space, so they will not be able to sign a bunch of guys unless they are depth pieces. I agree that comp picks should not be a primary factor to consider. Bring in the guys to help win.

He doesn't sound like a good friend if he is going around showing personal texts to strangers.

So crazy that a couple years ago we considered this one of his weaknesses. Josh Allen is a man on a mission to not just improve his weaknesses but to turn them into strengths, and even become the BEST at them. Honestly, I've never seen anything like it. He is supremely gifted.

Speculative article on friction between McDermott and Staff?
MJS replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall
So if they interviewed a bunch of players, why did they only include this one, single quote about this? Seems like they got one player to say what they wanted and then filled the rest of the article with speculation. -
If he wears gloves it is especially a non issue.
-
Yeah, and I think that is not the main reason a player would be fumble prone. Josh was fumble prone his first couple of years (maybe he still is, a little), and it was not because he has small hands.
-
I think hand size is honestly a stupid thing to measure. If you can play, you can play.
-
07 Pats scored 36 points per game. 00 Rams scored 33 points per game. 50 points per game would be by far the best offense in NFL history by a wide margin and would have no rival. 2013 Broncos are the highest scoring offense ever with 38 per game.

Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham

No, you quoted Hyde saying that it was not as big of a deal, so I showed you White's quote where clearly HE thought it was a big deal. -

Tre White: “My life is way more important than football. I’ve got a son to raise, man,” White said, via WKBW in Buffalo. “I’m down there with back turned, head to the ground, and somebody sneakin’ me. I mean, I could have broke my neck. It could have paralyzed me. Nobody thinks about that, they think about football. At the end of the day, if football ends today or tomorrow, I’ll be fine as long as I’m able to walk, and raise my son and do the things that I want to do.” -

Not my fault you guys live under a rock: “I just got suspended a week. I was happy, I was finally happy,” Gronkowski said on Tuesday’s episode of “Man in the Arena. “I was like, ‘Yes, I’m away from football for a week. I get to recover my body.'” “I lost a game check and it was about $300,000 that game check, and I didn’t even care one bit,” he continued. “I was just glad I had a week off from football because I needed it.” https://nypost.com/2022/01/05/rob-gronkowski-was-happy-with-2017-patriots-suspension/ -
Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham
MJS replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is nothing compared to what he used to be. You are fooling yourself if you think he is. Yeah, but then he later said that he didn't regret it and was just happy to get suspended because then he had a nice break. -

I'm pretty conflicted, and I sure would not want to pay him $8 million a year to come here. That's probably the money he is expecting, though. -
I really want Fitzy to come back for this season
MJS replied to bubba2018's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm torn by my logical, non-superstitious nature and the virtually perfect record that the curse of Fitzpatrick has over starting QB's. I guess that makes me not superstitious, but a little stitious. That's not even close to a Fitzpatrick level curse. -
He'd be an upgrade at TE2. But I feel like name recognition alone is going to get him a bigger contract than he is worth right now.

So, did they spend all their time debating Edmunds like this thread seems to suggest, or was there something else that they also talked about? -
I guess we'll need a uniform change to really make a difference:
